Seems strange that the number shown used to be or still is a military fax number for air national guard in knoxville......

She's already gone online and logged in but it keeps referring her to vzw for pix viewing. Anyone know why? I keep getting text messages from unwanted people (someone from my past) and i was wondering if you could suggest an app. I have looked at a few apps on the market but either they interfeer with my incomming calls where i cant answer or hang up or they require a monthly susbcription. I just want something that will block an incomming text from a specific number, thats it, no more no less. I am on a prepaid play with staright talk so going through my cell phone provider wont help. Any suggestions. Thank in.

I don't know how it works in your country, but in my country i only have to send SMS with text "set internet" to the operator and within 5 minutes I receive SMS with settings, my phone only asks me if I want to add access point ... check official page of your operator
Try sending a sms ACT 3G to 144 and 111 (sorry dont remember but send it to both) and you will receive a confirmation sms like enjoy the high speed over your phone.
Post this switch off your phone take out the battery after 5 mins put battery back and restart it. Hope this solve your problem.

I hope this is the right place to post this. I'm a total newbe with a serious problem..
Someone called from number +972542241849
So i answered this number but noone talked so i hang up
I tried calling throughout the day from different phones and it says the costumer cant accept my calls
It was showing on my call logs
A few hours later I had another look
on my call logs and no calls from or to this number showing
I wrote it down and also saved it to my phone
So i started texting it...
Closed the texting window and reopen and no texting shows
None
So I texted several more time thretning messages
And now it shows messages records but no call record even if im calling it immedietly vanish from my call logs
Could anyone explain me what does that means.....?
This particular incident is just one of many other signs that I'm having a constant problem in many different variations.
Thank you in advance! ??

Haha, it's not that people don't want to help, they don't know what to say.
Here, it could be a wrong number, I've had that happen to me before and I hung up. I haven't noticed with the call logs though. Are they on your device or carrier?

Firstly, thank you for bothering to reply... I have had this problem for a long time in many different variations. It was not just the call logs its also text messages. No it is not a wrong number... At first i would send texts too and there was record, but less the half an hour later they were not there anymore. Strange! I cant determine if its on my device or my carrier. How could I ?? I understand that
S-OFF will give me some security..? As far as all my internet accounts and emails, i do not have privacy what so ever and i got use to that, but on my phone, how could existing call logs and text messages vanish without me deleting it?
I am fully aware of the reason and know its happening. This is the main reason for me to join XDA in the first place, to try and learn how I could trace the source and prevent some what the dammage.

Welcome to xda. Bumping your post in 3 hours is considered pretty rude, 24 hours is more appropriate. If people know the answer they will reply, this site is not for you to demand guaranteed free tech support. Have some patience.
I don't think you've been hacked and s-off does not increase security.
Well there is always the first time in which you learn. Not familiar with this time rulles. I know either my device or through my carrier is being hacked.

I have the t mobile note 4 that I am using on my ATT account. It is rooted with a custom rom. It has been working great. A little bit ago it made a sound I haven't heard before and on the screen it said call forwarding unconditional now set. So I can't receive any calls on it. I went to the phone settings and when I access the call forwarding screen everything is turned off and it says invalid network or SIM card. I'm pretty sure the SIM card is working because I can send text messages and connect to the LTE network. Any ideas what is going on ore how to fix it?

try some of those codes to deactivate it

I have tried the #21# which is listed on att help but I get a message that says connection problem our invalid mmI code. I forgot to mention that I have a galaxy gear s that has auto call forwarding enabled on the watch and phone. It has been working great for the 2 months that I have had it.

call att and ask them to reset your account. Maybe problem is on their side. Did you check if imei on both units are clean?

Got a replacement SIM card and that fixed the problem. Thanks for the suggestions
