Good day fellow OB owners!
Since this is my first android phone, I'm hesitant to flash a new ROM (I don't know how to flash either). So, when I saw the NOVA ROM, I wanted to try flashing a custom ROM, but I'm still undecided. Is it possible to get stock ROM if ever I failed flashing NOVA or can I change back to stock if I'm successful on flashing?
Now I have installed Noejn's Nova Recovery. Please don't bite
Yes, it's easy: instruction how to.
Check here for newest firmware.
Just don't rush it and everything will be ok.
Hello, I bricked my phone. Can I re-flash my stock ROM? And how?, since I'm stuck in a black screen, cant get to recovery
The title says it all. I'm quite new to the WP7 scene, so I want to ask if it's okay to restore WP7 to an earlier state through Zune when I install a custom ROM? Just in case anything goes wrong. If not, is there any other way?
If you use RSPH/HSPL with the custom rom, you first have to go back to SPL , then you can flash a Original Rom
no problem
I'm itching to try out some of those custom kernels and ROMS that you guys have been hard at work on.. but to do that I _must_ be able to return the phone to unrooted stock when I'm done.
Is there some way that I'm not aware of to do this?
Because all the stuff I've read so far suggest that I have to customize it to be able to back it up... which means I wont have an uncustomized backup...
I've been flashing custom roms for years so I'm not new to the scene, but during my test on flashing all current 4.3 custom roms I noticed that the phone tends to freeze and I would have to force reboot phone. Tried different various firmware to see if culprit but no difference. Tried RUU back and clean flash and same bad results. Only 4.3 custom rom that's been working so far is the international thread "Elegancia 17.0 for Sprint". Any devs or experience guru know why this is happening to all current Sprint Custom 4.3 Roms?
A few weeks/months after installing a ROM it starts to get slower over time. The only way I've found to fix it is going back to stock ROM and then back to a custom ROM. It happened with different ROMs.
Any idea of why this could happen or how I can fix it?
I'm thinking it may be related to some partition, because even a clean flash doesn't work. And I have to go back to stock ROM before flashing a new ROM.
My previous ROM was Pixel2ROM. Current Pixel Experience. I had to go back to stock before flashing this.
Could you help me? Any idea why is this happening?
