Hi,
Dont know what my friend did to my phone. I cannot enter the bootloader. I have tried all the various buttons but nothing is shown EVER on screen. Is the green light an indication of some sorts? Other than that the phone is on.
Please help. I don't care if I lose everything. I just want my phone again.
While i was upgrading to froyo 2.2 which was released here in india.
the downloading took some time like nearly 30-40 min then suddenly the
Screen changed to PINK color.
i was terrified.
Then pressed buttons which displayed a small PICTURE saying no connection between the phone & pc.
And the kies gave a message that it has to start recovery process.
it said
1: remove the battery
2: get into recovery mode by pressing power key & volume down & home key.
3: now again connect the phone through usb.
now again during recovery it stopped at point and blue bar is appearing as if 30% is complete.
it is not going any forward.
please help me guys what to do......

Pink screen problem
Hi
I've had a similar problem with my galaxy s, all the whites now appear pink. I change the entire front with another galaxy s but same problem.
My screen works fine in other galaxy so it can't be a screen issue, cos the other screen is pink in my phone.
Any ideas as what the problem could be, have checked and rechecked all the connections, factory wiped the phone 3 times but with no luck.
Anyone experience anything similar or even have a resolution?

The issue seems to be with flashing roms, rather than screen problem.
Why not try re-partition with ODIN? see if that helps?
I did a factory reset from the settings menu and and while it was reseting it randomly turned off. I thought that means it was done and I needed to start it back up. After I tried to press the power button I get no response. A complete black screen and not even the M logo. I tried charging it overnight and it still has a black screen. Any help please?
Edit: Apprently it works now right after posting on XDA...

i'm havin a big problem. I tried to install a custom bootanimation, but the zip settings were on "normal kompression" instead of "store".
Trying to reboot results in a black screen after the white "Samsung Galaxy Note NT7000" label.
The black screen won't end and after a while I hear a sound from my phone but the display stays dark...
I also hear messages I get on my phone and the white keys beside the Home button are lightning too.
What can I do? I already tried to update to the newest stunner Version and did a "/system format".

But after the successfull installation the same problem remains
I mean reflashing the new stunner should solve the problem because the default bootanimation is set now. What the hell is going on?!

PS: The display is NOT damaged. It works perfect in recovery mode.
Hi. I am having issue where phone will not come out of lock screen. Buttons light but screen stays black. I can reboot and use phone so I know it is not hardware. I can still blindly touch screen and maybe get past lock but stays black til I reboot.
I have tried cache clearing and full reset to no avail. Only option I see is full root and alternate rom.
Please help
