Using it on TAZZFROYO ,..... definitely keeping it on my SD card for when I switch to one of the other Froyo roms

as it comes stock on KaosFroyo I would think most anyone running the rom would have it

[rom] miui 2.4.20

All credits go to sbasil for his u8800 rom. I just port his rom to our device.
Credit also to llorn & mantera for mOCk kernel.
And to whyzee too.

Steps of installation:
1. Do a full wipe
2. Flash the rom
3. Flash mOCk kernel: http://www.4shared.com/zip/7f-EiXM9/mOCkv1612.html
4. Boot the system
5. Let the booting process settle down
6. After the rom has been properly booted up, go to cwm again
7. Wipe dalvik & cache, reboot system again (if not do this, not all apps will appear on screen)
8. ENJOYYY
9. Now u can go to x5 setting & change i/o scheduler to cfq, default one (noop) is for u8800, sometime its not stable

2. I hv asked whyzee help to fix the headset, or maybe ck/fr already hv the patch

you can use handset for miui 1.11.11 tj-style,extract the service.jar take the classes.dex,and extract the service.jar you miui 2.4.20,put the classes.dex on you service.jar and make it sign in..just suggest it...

can not find mOCk kernel ....
i think the ideos x6 thread is not perfectly organised its too hard to find a older post since they lasted in some thread comment only and not else where
please update the working mock kernel for miui on all other threads the Ported ROm Include mock kernel in themselves so there is no separate kernel info available nor any file available .

I downloaded the ROM again but haven't had time to try it yet. I will try again tonight and report back. Thanks a bunch for all the work and many ROM's you brought us Bro much appreciated.
***Edit*** Actually I am gonna try it now, was having reboot issues with BlackIce. Seems on some ROM's we need to raise the voltages a little to stop the reboots but our kernels do not support it. Is there a way we can raise voltages with an app like setcpu?

plz help frnds..i want to knw the app name with which we can control G Note.. i. e. i connect GNote to pc using data cable.. can control mobi with mouse n keyboard... simultaneously it shud make a video / record for instance if we want to show some instructions.

Hmm actually it should work in every ROM. Try to clear data of the app and clear cache and dalvik-cache in recovery.

- The focus of this firmware was on performance, stability and flexibility of system configuration​​
So i made this rom with my friend (he has (Alcatel OT 990)not from from 4pda or xda forum)!​
FEATURES:
- ICS style icons
- Added new items "Battery, DSP Manager, Themes"
- To select "Call" service Flip, you can set the action in a coup phone face down during a call, such as a reset or disable the call melody (CM10.1)
- DSP Manager is now a service built into the configuration
- To the point of "Memory" to view information about the system partition (CyanMobileX)
- To select "About phone" information about the version of the recowery (MiniCM7)
- In the "Audio" service, which gives the ability to run a music player when headphones are connected (CM10.1)
- In the "interface - Settings Status Bar" option is added to the "Clock in the center" (MiniCM7), and fixed service "brightness control, spending on the status bar" (CM9)
- "Lock Screen - Widgets" added item that starts Flashlight long press "Home" on the locked screen (MiniCM7)
- "The Sound" is possible to set playing a sound a call once or indefinitely (MiniCM7)
"Memory Manager" - low memory killer (CyanMobileX)

The main bug for me is the battery drainage. Would be nice if that could get fixed.

the error was with yhe kernel 2.1 thunderkernel must have a problem with the wifi it is working fine with the 2.0 version
