Hi, all..
I have an xperia X8.
after i upgraded it to s-rom gingerbread 2.3.3, there is a word said sd card safely to remove. though i have mounted it, but it always shows the same word.
what should i do?
no reply yet...hmmm..
any info?
nevermind..
i've figured it out myself.
i have same problem how did you repair it pls?
Try Full wipe in recovery or format SD card, also try with another one, maybe it's a problem in SD card itself, but then it will say "SD card damaged".
That ROM is old and it hasn't been updated. Try another one like GingerDX, GingerCruzt etc
i have GingerDX v013 but on FroyoBread it work normally
I am try format sd card but it is the same
Hello everyone.
Well my question is regarding my sd card, i have a 8gb sd card in for my xperia x8, it was working fine untill yesterday when i tried to listen to music and the whole phone froze. from that moment on the phone is not reading the sd card, i even installed froyobread (nice rom btw) but still the sd is not reconigzed in the phone.
The sd works fine in my pc, i can open it and everything but i cant format it (says that windows could not perfomr the format), i tried a 2gb and a 4gb sd in my phone and they work just fine.
What do you think? is a sd problem even tought i can read it in my pc and my camera? do you know any program to repair/format the sd and check if it works again in my phone? could it be some kind of problem with my phone that dont allow it to read 8gb+ sd cards?
Thx in advance
oh and the micro sd has no "lock" thingy xD
i have a Kingston 4 GB micro SDHC card (class 4). From the time i installed nAa kernel, when I download or copy files to my card it gets corrupted. I tried changing to stock kernel and it works fine. And all other SD cards(except my 4GB card) works fine on nAa kernel. I like nAa, so don't want to change it. formatted it number of times, but it didn't work. One more thing, when i copy using CWM recovery USB mounting it is fine but once phone is switched on it gets corrupted....
please help!!!!!!!!
thank you in advance

I use a 8GB Kingston Class 4 in GingerDX on Stock Kernel just fine.
Anyway, if the 4GB Kingston Class 4 is the only mSD giving you headaches with nAa's Kernel and all the other work ... let me tell you a secret ...
Don't use that particular card but one of your others?
Return the card and swap it past another one of which you know will work?
Seems to be too obvious ...
i formatted my sd card now my wifi doesn't work please help

hello, i've just installed that rom to my x8 too,(this one:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836116) im just wondering if u know how to fix my problem... ( after i install it successfully, my x8 does not recognize my sd card anymore.. it says in notification bar. "Safe to remove SD Card" but i didn't unmount it, i try everything like insert and reinsert the card, turning on the phone w/o the card then turrning on again w/ card, nothing happens... plsss... if you know something help me pls.
Rom has problem.. you should Try to install other Rom
If i helped you hit thanks button
Sent from my X8 using xda app-developers app
There will be better roms out there. Jellybean isnt ported to our X8 fully so I would say not to install Jellybean roms even ICS roms are also too buggy. Until now the best roms are based on Gingerbread like GingerDX or Kuyadroid. They are very stable and has almost all functionality. Or if you want to stick to your Jellybean then try a different rom.

Hi I have the same problem after installing the JBMP 2.0 rom.
The PC sees the SD card fine and so does a droid tablet.
Ive also reformatted it using sd format.
So im presuming this is a bug with this rom?
Cheers
