It came out as soon as i took off the back piece to expose the battery. It apparently was rattling the whole time. Does anyone have any idea what it is? Or where it goes? I can't find anything online about it, and i've scoured the PCB and i can't find a single hint as to where it goes.
Thanks
Front camera
I think i see it, but i don't understand how it was attached there to begin with or precisely where
I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. After many hours pouring through photos and videos, i was about to give up but then i saw that this goes on the BACK CASE, not the pcb. I thank you for this help.
But does anyone know what this part does?

Ok so the other day I dropped my Kaiser a couple days ago and now the screen feels really loose when the screen isn't open. I don't think anything cracked inside.
Is there any way to fix it? I'm thinking about opening it up to see if there's anything I can do. The phone still works fine, but it's bothering me Has any one else had this problem before?
Thanks
Duct Tape can do wonders.....

Same issue here, feel my LCD loose. Any solution ?
I didn't drop it and i only bought it less than 2 months.
take it back.
So I opened it up today and found out that the loose part was the sliding part here: http://www.pdacenter.ru/images/htc_p4550_kaiser_060.jpg
Is there anyway to tighten it?

since the plastic is coming out... I would like to buy a new part, do you know here i can find it??
Best regards.
if i understand you right, you mean that the plastic protection is peeling...
just buy a screen protector that comes with a protection part for this area.
just like this one on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com/3x-LCD-Screen-Protector-FOR-HTC-Touch-Diamond-P3700-NEW_W0QQitemZ320492259683QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item4a9ed3c963
I've found this, but i really don't understand if i can make it on my own...

Hi,
After months owning an N1, I managed to sell it today and buy a new one (with a guarantee this time) for a little additional money. The problem was, after some time using it, I noticed there is a small problem with the screen: there is a spot near the bottom left corner which seems to be brighter than the rest of the screen, especially when holding the phone in a certain angle. Kind of like this:

Do you guys know why this could be happening? Anyone has something like it? Is there a way to fix it, or should I send it back to HTC?
Nothing? :-(
Does it have screen protector?
I followed the dis-assembly tut on xda and on Youtube and managed to put everything back together in (more or less) one piece, but now my Galaxy S won't turn on. What'd I do wrong? One thing that I've noticed is that I might have ever so slightly torn the black ribbon cable; the one that connects the capacative buttons to the rest of the phone. But other than that, I'm pretty sure I did everything right. What should I do now? I went through hours upon hours of trouble and followed the tut step by step but I still managed to mess up. What's the best course of action at this point?
Thanks in advance.
Here's a closeup of the torn cable:
