[Q] (cm9 nightly) cant download lot of apps

Hey,
can someone please tell me why Im not able to download a lot of apps like:
Sound Hound
Google Chrome
Opera Mini
Maxthon Browser
..
Is it 4.0.4 (because on 4.0.3 before that I was able to download those) or cm9?

Please provide more information. What is the error the Market gives you? If there is no error, check to see if /datadata is full. There are workarounds available for that.

There is no error. I just dont see the apps in the market.
If I search for Opera I only find Opera Mobile not Mini.
If I search for Maxthon I only find Maxthon Browser Addons etc but not the browser itself etc.. :/
If I try to install via my Computer it says "Diese App ist nicht mit Ihrem Samsung GT-I9000-Gerät kompatibel." -> "App isn't compatible with your device"
/e Tried to clear cache and Dalvik Cache - didnt worked. Have to sleep now. Good night

That seems to be a market error. You should be able to find Opera mobile by pressing on Opera mini and then on 'more apps by Opera' or something like this.

Where? Cant find a Button like that :s
And as i said it isnt even possible through my Computer:/ .. i guess its the ROM isnt it?

If you can't find it with your computer, why should it be a ROM issue?

I find them on my computer but cant download it (or send the dl to my sgs) cause of "not compatible" .. :/

Go to manage applications in settings and try to clear data and cache of Google Play Store.

Already tried that + I reinstalled the market :/

Had this problem as well.. search for the app in appbrain.. it will open up in play store

Cant find appbrain in the market and if i try to load it from appbrain.vom (Or whatever) it opens in the market and sais "this Version isnt compatible with ur device"

Out of curiosity: what version of the Play Market app do you have installed?
I flashed CM9 (factory reset/wipe cache/wipe dalvik) on my GT-I9000, started the rom, rebooted in recovery and flashed gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip. Market is now at 3.5.15 and all the apps you mentioned show up.

Same as you .. 3.5.15
And i also did all the resets u did :/

solution
the only option worked for me is to edit build.prop file in system folder u need to edit these values
ro.product.model=GT-I9000
ro.product.device=crespo
ro.build.fingerprint=google/mysid/crespo:4.0.4/IMM30B/257829:user/release-keys
use crespo where written if something else written there as in my case it was "toro" .. try and let me know
u can try root explorer and edit directly and reboot

Oh thanks at first. That could be the problem cause my values are:
ro.build.fingerprint: samsung/GT-I9000/GT-I9000:2.3.5/GINGERBREAD/XXJVT:user/release-keys
ro.product.device=GT-I9000
ro.product.model=GT-I9000

hmmm well i am using
[ROM] [6.4.2012] NEW ICS 4.0.4 EXTRAordinary_4.0.4_beta9
and i found it the best so far, u can try it too and try to do it with the modified build.prob attached , as i see people also having problems in market with the rom and i figured it out and it worked. can u please post this solution in that thread too

What I did (dont know if the restart is necessary):
-Copied the build.prop via Rom Toolbox inside system folder
-restart phone
-delete cache and files of Google Play

[Q] inotia 3 question

hey peeps im running the new cyanogenmod revo a on my galaxy mini but the prob is i cant download inotia 3 from the market some error occurs anyone experiencing the same prob?

If size is too big, it happens to me too. Not only on revo but other roms too..

I experienced that problem before and here are the few steps you must do to solve that issue.
1.) In your Android device, Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and tap to All tab.
2.) Under All tab, find the Google Play Store or Market (if you don't have Google Play Store) then tap on it.
3.) Under Google Play Store or Market, you must tap Clear data and Clear Cache.
4.) Finally, Reboot your Android device, after rebooting, open Google Play Store or Market and try to download Inotia 3.
I have Inotia 3 here in my Samsung Galaxy Mini and it runs smoothly just like the others.

Installation
• Uninstall original facebook, facebook messenger and facebook home apps. If facebook is pre-installed then you probably need root to remove it
• Extract .rar!
• Install com.facebook.katana (FB app), then com.facebook.home (Home app).
• Also install com.facebook.orca.apk (Messenger app).
• Enable facebook home under facebook app settings.
• If you face any issues, reboot into recovery and wipe dalvik cache.

I dont see why you would get that. Did u download from the above links?
Also u have to uninstall your previous facebook app and then replace as mentioned.

had it working all day on my tab with Pac rom.
its not a mod- just couple of apks and some settings

This should be in Apps and themes, not in dev section. If you don't create it, it should not post in dev section.

I did, I uninstall the FB app and reinstall the one downloaded with the home app too

It says my device is not currently supported.

Change your phone to a better specs if you want Temple Run

Its smooth,fast,lightwight
It has QuickPic instead regular Gallery app
If you flash Gapps(after Ginger DX) you will be able to connect to Google Play from Google Play Store application
You would be able to download and play Temple Run
For WiFi thetering from google play store download:
WiFi Transfer
And for camera zoom download:
Camera Zoom FX

3)download one from play store
4)use an app like pdanet

6)you can have digital zoom with some apps, search for some.

Put on your SD Card
After you flash Ginger DX v31b for stock or custom kernel(depends on which one are you using)
after flashing ginger dx turn on phone...reboot in CWM Recovery and flash GAPPS

hello. i have an s3 mini i8190 with dmodv6 rom installed. whenever i try to open an instagram link(for example from twitter), i only get the option to open it with one of my browsers. i have the instagram app installed of course. is there a way to make it open with the app instead?

i think not. only option is to wait for app update which supports it
