Before you say "SEARCH THE MIUI LS THREADS, THERE'S LIKE 3," I know.
I've tried a few, but none of them have what I'm looking for.
What I want from this request, IS that ICS lockscreen, but with a different notification system.
As you know, the ICS locks we have for MIUI have 4 shortcuts; Camera, Phone, SMS and Unlock.
When you get a text/call, there's no on-screen notification telling you, until you press on the lock-ring, then you see the number of missed whatever.
That's not bad, but I'd like to see notifications before I hit the unlock, then find out I have a text..
If someone could tweak the ICS lock to where it still shows the number on the icon, when you press the lock, BUT have it show elsewhere on the screen, so when you wake the phone up, you can see immediately.
So this is what I want:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I made a little mockup of what I mean, in case I'm being too confusing.
Notifications to show on-screen (as well as when pressing lock), so you can see easily if you've missed something.
BUT ONLY show them when I actually have notifications.
If possible, could the '0's' be taken off the icons too, when you press the lock?
Just have nothing there, unless I get notifications.
Please and thank yoooou.
EDIT: NVM, I made it myself lolz.

Basically the message subject says it all... I have a bunch of things in the today screen but when I slide open the phone I want some to be hidden so there is no scrollbar on the side (really annoying)....
Is this possible and if so how do I do it??
Thanks.

You probably have large start menu installed.
Heres an image of what I am talking about.... I dont think its the start menu because when I am in landscape the start menu automatically creates a section called "more..." for the items that dont fit.

I think this may have something to do with the Quick launcher which has 5 icons for my pictures, task launcher, camera, music and phone.... this cant be seen in the image but is there a way to hide this program in landscape???? I dont see any options for this.
Thanks.
ADDITION: I was able to make this somewhat more tolerable by un-docking the HTC home plugin... still wish there was no scrolling though.
Ok, so I just flashed Dutty's 4/29 rom not too long ago.
So far it has been great. But I have one thing I would like to change.
The signal icon at the top of the screen integrates the G/E/3G/H indicator for data. Is there a way to disable the larger Square G/E/3G/H indicator next to that? I feel there is no need to have both, and the less clutter at the top the better.
Here is a screenshot with the icon in question highlighted in the red box:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Normally I would search, but I did not know what to call that icon, and searching "disable data icon" did not get me where I wanted to go.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Also on a related note....
Is there a way to seperate out the multiple notifications.
For example if you get an email notification and a missed call, rather than having seperate icons across the top for each, you get a "notifications icon" that you have to click on which pops up the seperate icons:
Is there a way to seperate those out by default?
Anybody have any suggestions?
As far as i know thats not possible..

Does anybody know how I can move the clock from the far right to the middle?
When on the lock-screen, I can pull the top bar down, shouldn't that be.. locked? I can pull it down and plug in my USB cable and connect without having to even unlock the phone. Any way I can easily fix this without being a knowledgable developer?
How can I enable haptic feedback for the phone menu/back buttons? There doesn't seem to be any options for it anywhere.
One last thing I would like to know how to change, when my phone boots, about 2 seconds after the lock screen appears, the screen turns off, how can I change it to wait longer on the lock screen before turning off? Is there a file somewhere I can edit the timeout delay? It just isn't enough time to unlock the phone after it boots, so it boots, then the screen turns off, and I have to turn it back on, then unlock it. Very annoying.
This is the ROM I am using, it's just vanilla/stock CM10.1 with no additional scripts or mods.
If this isn't the correct forum for such questions could a mod please move it to the right place? Apologies and thanks in advance.
1.) It can be done by editing the statusbar layout..but as for u..try this (https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wxLDEsImNvbS5jYWxzdG8ub21lZ2Euc3RhdHVzYmFyIl0.)
2.) Its an android 4.0+ feature..
3.) Its not enabled by default..may be u can try an app from playstore..
4.) That should not be a problem according to me..it just happens after boot..not after that..
Hi All,
Until recently, when someone text me I use to get a Notification like below.... Basically, I would get the first line of the message along with a picture of the person who text me.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
- [Note] This picture is not from my phone, found it on the Net
I believe this came from the STOCK Android Messaging App, even though I had Go SMS Pro installed and Active as my main SMS App.
I accidentally clicked on an Unread Message (which I didn't mean or want to do... as I wanted it to keep popping up) and turned its Status from Unread to Read, and now it doesn't show up anymore... I have found a way / App to use that can turn the status of the message to Unread again.
However it will not pop back up into the Notification Pulldown bar....?? Any idea's what this feature is, and how to get it back up there please????
(I know its a random request, but I just prefer that message to be always up there...)
Thanks, Lister
:bump: Anyone....??
Thanks, Lister
MOD EDIT: Thread closed as this is the wrong section for module requests. Please these guidelines for more info.
So, apparently Google added a hidden "Heads Up" Notifications option on KitKat.
It is currently set off by default but the Cyanogen Team enabled it on their latest update.
Do you guys think it is possible to enable this option for other devices using Xposed?

Description: These floating notifications are meant to be used in full-screen apps or Immersive Mode, but for whatever reason, they aren't switched on in AOSP code. When switched on, all notifications will float in just below the notification bar, or just where it would be if you're currently in full screen mode. These are basically identical to the notification you'd see if you pulled down the bar - you can tap it to go to the relevant application, swipe left to dismiss it, pinch out to expand, et cetera.
