see what I did here was use the search function at the top of the screen. The one that is up yonder. In that search field typed in
"install tom tom maps"
it gave me this

Now, NotaTreofan doesn't like treos but he's a smart feller, I recon that if his advice doesn't help, then you can wonder back to the first post and find a lil something that will fix you right up.

Can anybody tell me the name of this vista looking task switcher software this dude is using on his HTC HOME plug in screen.....i likes and i wants....does anybody know?
SPB Mobile Shell comes with that. You just need to apply that gesture with your finger.

Why do you doublepost the same question in to different subforums? (Kaiser general and Kaiser software)?
Please close this thread.
WOW
That looks really awesome!!
Double Post? WTF??
Its called Spb Mobile Shell 2.0. For Fu&*s sake, its even labelled "Spb Mobile Shell v2.0 in HTC Touch"
LOL

Go back to your other thread for the answer that was on the link that you posted from youtube. LOL
Edit: Damn you guys are too quick for me.
i have the at&t tilt with WM6.1 stock ROM. i installed touchflo2d manila and tom tom no longer works. Tom tom stays in the initial splash screen (black screen with tom tom in white font). the only way to get out of that screen is soft reset.
tom tom works fine if touchflo2d is uninstalled. i searched the forums and couldnt find much help. i really like touchflo2d and would be great if i can get tom tom working with it. can someone please help?
TIA
i use a hyperdragon rom with manilla 2d cooked in and have no problems whatsoever with tom tom 7 (7.2/7.4 maybe? don't kno of the top of my head). maybe try a hard-reset and install manilla 2d before you install tomtom?
For reasons beyond me, only TomTom 7 works with Manilla 2d. I had the same issue with my UK Orange TyTN 2.
TT6 works for me with Manilla2D
Both with the stock AT&T 6.1 and with my recently installed NATF V5 Final
1st post, newbie lurker.
I've been googling, searching all over cyber space for either a cab file, or something that will allow me to use my TomTom 6 (legit copy w/ serial #), that I purchased w/ my Treo 700p 3 yrs. ago, w/ my Sprint HTC Touch Pro.
Initial installation, I get the "This version of TomTom is not compatible w/ your phone" (something along those lines).
I've tried
-installing the latest TomTom 7 cab file w/ the TomTom 6 maps and voices, before I read that the TomTom 7 cab will not work w/ TomTom 6 maps
-installing the older version of the TomTom 7 files, though I read and know now that it won't work w/ my TomTom 6 maps
-tried installing the TomTom Nav. 7 cab file, to download the "free map" from the tom tom site, but I kept getting an "error page"
-tried using the TomTom 7 and just purchase the US maps, but tomtom doesn't have US maps available, only European from what I can recall
I've also read that other users w/ the HTC TP have successfully installed their TomTom6, are they using a more up to date version? Do I need to make another massive purchase w/ TomTom?
The box to my TomTom NaV. 6, says compatible w/ WinMobile and Palm OS.
but it is several years old.
TIA for any help and suggestions, and I honestly did do a search and read half way through the TomTom 7 Diamond thread, but wasn't able to find anything useful, other than the cab. files.
If my version is outdated, then is my only option to get a new one? Also, can someone point me the right direction as to where I can buy (legally, from TomTom or 3rd party vendor), the US maps to work w/ the TomTom Nav 7?
Thanks again,

I have a Fuze, but I have the same questions as you. I've tried installing Navigator 6 and I get an error message and installation is unsuccessful. I've installed Navigator 7 and I can't get it to recognize my v6.75 maps even though people have said these should be backwards compatible. I have downloaded and successfully installed the free city map (Los Angeles). I cannot find anywhere to legally purchase v7.xx North America maps; Tomtom is now selling v8.xx. Can anyone please confirm if Navigator 7 is compatible with 6.75 maps or not? Thanks.
I have tom tom 6 working just fine
I have tom tom 6 working just fine, originally from my 750.
Assuming you have tom tom home installed on your pc.
Copy all of of your tom tom data to the sd card.
Run the cab.
make sure you have your tt code handy.
start tom tom home, it will recognise your new device,( tom tom allow you a device change once every six months)
you will need to register a new account, from then on it just recognises everything.

Hello all,
I'm truly sorry if I have start it a new thread that has an answer else where but I have looked and typed all different ways and can not find a few things I'm looking for for an AT&T TILT 8925...
I have seen all different type of posts for TOMTOM and people having problems with their Garmin but I can not find a cab file for a Garmin anyplace...
Also, I can not seem to find a SPB cab file anyplace either... I have seen a lot of today's screen and such but no touchflo or SPB ( not sure if they are the same thing)...
Anyways, if you can please send me to the right direction or send me the cab files, it would be greatly appreciate it...
And also, if you know or have any other cool stuff for a 8925 I would love to see what all this phone is capable of.
Thank you and again my apology if I didn't look hard enough or can't seem to find them.
SPB Mobile Shell is a commercial product -- go to their site and you can download a trial, and buy it if you like it.
I have it, and I think it is pretty darn good
Looking forward to version 3 out sometime this month.
