did Pandora change again app not working for me
Just wandering if Pandora changed like it did once before I cannot use the app for almost a week now.
Pandora again changed their API a couple of weeks ago and all of the "unofficial" apps (there are no authorized WP7 apps) have been broken since.
thanks just double checking
Appreciate the feedback

Has anyone got this? Or tried it out?
I've been trying it for the last couple of days and it's opened my eyes to the world of PodCasts! I've subscribed to 26 feeds, some of which are simply RSS, and some of which are "proper" PodCasts. It's awesome. Automatically downloading PodCasts over my WiFi connection, and then letting me play them back using the Smart Playlist option is amazing. Anyone got any hints or tips, or any recommended PodCasts?

Podcasts
Anything from the Twit network and "Are We Alone", the Seti podcast, are great.
I've been using BeyondPod on Windows Mobile and have purchased it on Android.
Are you using the scheduled updates ? Mine is set to check and download updates at 5am every day, so I have fresh podcasts ready for me when I get up.
For all the fuss about the new Doggcatcher app and it being a features app in the market, I find BeyondPod a much better app.
Thanks!
I'm signed up to The Week in Tech and The Week in Google.
I was considering looknig at Doggcatcher, but it seems a bit redundant really as BeyondPod seems to do everything I want it to
Hi Im new at android but beyondpod is a must have.
Is Beyondcheduler a seperate app?
How do I set it to download at 5am? The instructions here don't match my menu's -
http://www.allshadow.com/2008/08/04/beyondpod-goes-above/
I am not sure if this is the right thread because it's both app related and it is a question so, mods - please move at your discression.
Here it goes: I've been using StreamFurious for quite a while now (free version) but recently it's been acting up. I've reinstalled, fixed permissions, updated streams, etc, etc etc.... I also want to stream AAC streams and free version of SF won't do it. Now, I have no problems paying for an app but SF is not updated often at all and why would I pay for Pro version if the free one doesn't work that well? So I went onto a quest of finding me a better streaming app. I tried DroidLive. Worked OK but did not have the ability to add streams from URL, so only ShoutCast. UI was too crazy for my taste as well (I strongly believe that less is more: less colors, less wild graphics, etc)
With that said, I would value your opinion on which app I should get for my streaming. Here's what I'm looking for:
--Free or Paid (hopefully under $10)
--AAC+ streaming is a must
--Ability to add stations from URL
--Ablity to rename/organize stations
--Clean UI
--Overall good integration with Android
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Hello all,
I have recently created a new XBMC Remote App because well I like programming
It's cheaper than the ones available and works with XBMC 10.0+. I have created some extra featurs that I thought would be useful which weren't present in the other apps.
Pictures:
The app has full support for pictures, you can download them from XBMC right to your phone, watch a slideshow on your phone and have extensive controls when playing them on the Media Center, like zooming and scrolling ....
Library updates: With one click of the button you can update your music / video library
Subtitles: A button is available to open the subtitles window and select the subtitle you'd like (very handy for us non-native english speakers)
Furthermore, all the basics are available: browsing libraries, remote control, ...
Please let me know iwhat you think of it and if you have any good ideas about new features, requests. I'd be glad to work out something.
Here's the deep link to the application in Zune: windowsphone.com/s?appid=9a2f8f94-5dae-e011-a53c-78e7d1fa76f8
Looks good, lots of nice features, would really like to trial it first though, it's quite important for apps like this.
Can you view the most recent movies, tv episodes? Can you pull up info on the currently playing media?
Thanks for the hard work!
Hello,
I have just submitted an update with trial mode enabled. It should be available in a few days. There's a now playing feature and in the next release I have some extensions planned on that.
Currently there are no recent items collections, but I'll add it to the feature requests and I think I'll be able to add it to the next version as well.
If you can, please check out the trial version and let me know what you think.
(The trial version has complete functionality but it only shows you a few items)
Many thanks in advance.
Does this app have the gesture-mode for the arrow-keys?
Used the android-one before, never got used to the normal key-mode.. you always have to look at your phone...
because of that i still use my android-device for remoting my XBMC Notebook...
Hello,
Gesture mode is not included in this version. I'll take a look whether I can fit it in the next release though.
In a few days an update should appear with a trial-mode so you can try out the remote. I have focussed a lot on the usability of the remote and made large buttons which have audio and/or haptic feedback so you still might like it.
Sorry, we don't allow paid apps here.

Now with a sweet touch of Open Source
Media Remote is an app to control your tablet's videos from your phone. There's also a media player companion for this app (which is planned to be upgraded using FFMpeg in the future). The app supports Play/Pause, seek ahead/behind in video, playing next/previous videos, volume and brightness control and displaying video thumbnail on phone app.
Both of the apps use only LG QPair SDK library and thus are very light weight. I plan to only use raw code in the app in future releases also. The apps don't need any special permissions.
This app is for LG's QPair Competition. If you like the app, please vote for "Media Remote" here
And as always, any feature request, bug report, review and constructive criticism is welcome!
I won't be updating the app for a while because of my college exams

I decided that it'll be best if I first make the media player and then use it to control video and access MediaStore Context Provider on the Tablet. Meanwhile, I am waiting for a bug fix in QPair's APK (which doesn't let the app start any service on peer)
Thanks for the offer. I'll be sure to contact you for beta testing when the time comes
Adding a chromecast button would make it even more awesome. I could be super lazy and play all the videos from my tablet on my tv while controlling it with my phone. ya kno, cus why not?

Hi Dri94,
That sounds like a great idea but unfortunately I don't have ChromeCast and its not supported in my country. Maybe someone else can add that feature later
Play/Pause is finally working. Now its a good time for designing. Any ideas/suggestions/contribution?

How about the screen capture and share a pic in both device?
in addition, does seek will work?
UPDATE: Almost done with the functionality. Now its mostly designer work, so again, any help is appreciated, I am not really a designer

Screen Capture and Picture Share are possible but I don't think they fall in the scope of this app. I'll give them a second thought in the morning (too sleepy to think )
Haven't implemented seek yet but I will add it. I'm not sure if it'll work just like a native seek and maybe I'd have to make the video on tablet change only when onStopTrackingTouch and not on onProgressChanged().

Hey buddy, who is the developer? @sourabh.coder or @dhruvdangi, I recall only one entry per person, no teams were allowed. It just shocked me while checking your entry.
Hey Mate
I am the main dev, @dhruvdangi only had bandwidth to help me with initial project setup. BTW, where did you read that contribution is not allowed? To my understanding, one entry per person means only one app can be submitted towards the contest by one person.
