When i play a video on my TV through the TV OUT settings, the volume is just not loud enough. Is there any hack/tweak/apk which would Amplify the media volume?
Im having a Galaxy S with JPY firmware.

Not sure if I understand, what I meant is certain video files have a low volume, so it is sometimes required to increase the volume beyond the maximum android limit of 15..
search for audioboost on the market
One I've used myself and it works well.
To make the volume louder you need to:
Dialer *#*#197328640#*#*
[5] AUDIO
[1] HANDSET
[1] VOLUME
[1] SRC Speech RX Volume
[5]5_lvl : 88
Menu -> Key Input
Change to any number greater than 88 (Max:100)

Yes, very early stage in development, indeed. As expected, far from usable, but definitely has a lot of potential. I like the fact that touch calibration works. It'd be a nice thing to have in SwiftDroid, for example, though I'm not really sure - are the kernel version and calibration really so connected to each other that it can't be done with the 2.6.29. Someone please enlighten me on the subject.

Haha, zing.. yes, you got me, my English is far from perfect. I was talking about Non-Eclair projects, if I indeed forgot to mention it.
Is it really 2.3.1 or 2.2.1(Look at the title)?

Hello dear friends,
I was wondering if it is possible to have some kind of volume boost on the Galaxy note. Because sometimes I just cant hear people while talking on the phone ( without headset) while the volume of random notifications is blasting.
So i want to be able to set a higher max if it's possible, can ayone let me know how please
I am using this app.volume boost : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TEST.android.lvh&hl=it,But other you can find the marcket
You can try DSP Manager or Equalizer available on the Play store If you are running ICS then also change the Music Effect in the Settings/Sound menu accordingly.
Hello to all
I began to despair of finding a way to change the volume ALL MODES with physical keys Note ...
On any smartphone other than Samsung , the physical buttons decrease or increase all sounds not just the ring-tone ...
- JKay maked a mode that allowed to overcome this concern but no more development since GB.
- CM9 ROM was also the possibility of setting single volume.
- we can found on the GPlay gas plants applications that offer hours following place ect ect .. but too heavy
you have any other leads? or better yet: the solution?
thank
I.tried numerous apps to increase overall external speaker sound several mods nothing has worked was wondering is there something that can b done within the sys registry that will actually send a command to the external speaker to raise the volume.......a script or something .....

What ROM you are running?
Many JB kernels have In-Call Volume options in Advanced settings.
You can't increase the volume above build-in amplifier/speaker limits.

If music plays fine, then your speaker is good. You have 3 more things to check:
- What is notification and ringtones volume settings level? Set all sliders to max.
(you probably did)
- Is Ascending Ringtone (in Interface > Sound) enabled? Check Ringing Start Volume and Increase Interval settings.
(set about 40-50% volume for Ringing Start and 2sec for Increase Interval)
- What files you use for notification and ringtone? Some mp3 files are just recorded with low volume level.
(your problem most likely, try with default sounds and find something louder and high pitched)
