[Q] Different Versions of I9000?

Hello i would like to know if there are different versions of the galaxy s (i9000) and if so which is the best.
i have heard of the Samsung Galaxy s I9000,Samsung Galaxy GT-I9000,Samsung Galaxy S I9000T,Samsung Galaxy S GT-19000T.
Is there a better version of the phone released most recently which is better faster?like a revision 2?

[Q] Galaxy S mhl port from Infuse or S2

Hello guys ! I was just thinking this mhl(hdmi tv out) thing is a matter of hardware or software ?
So i am going to buy a mhl adaptor to prove it to my Galaxy S, do you think is going to work ?

i think the htc flyer is a very good device, but the galaxy tab is a complete device, well i mean you get something close to the flyer but with cellphone fonction and 3g, if you dont need them, you can have a verity of choices, from the new google nexus 7 to the second generation of galaxy tab, Toshiba 7 inch, and many more...
but gt P1000 is the ultimate tablette, in my opinion.

[Q] Do MHL/HDMI works for i9305 with aosp rom?

i'm asking for i9305, the US version with 2GB ram.
currently im using the i9300 exynos one, and it certainly do not have mhl/hdmi working.
if the i9305 able to work on aosp roms then i want to make a switch

sorry no only touchwiz samsung roms. even with a samsung rom I have read on this forum that using a third party launcher such as nova could disable mhl. aosp = no mhl for sure

thank you for your confirmation.
its strange, because i know that i9300 using exynos, so hdmi dont work.
the xperia s if run aosp the mhl port works. so i was thinking its the exynos problem.
too bad i9305 using dual core non exynos doesnt work as well.

Samsung galaxy s 111 hml is different than standard hml. the port uses 11 pins where standard uses 5. because of this only Samsung mhl adaptors are compatible. there may be a few companies now that make similar compatible adaptors for less but initially when the phone was released. Samsung made a killing on their adaptors due to their unique mhl port.
The 19305 does use the same exynos quad core processor as the i9300. but it has 2 gb ram instead of 1. also it is lte capable whereas 19300 has HSPA+

there are cheap adapters on ebay which convert 11pins to 5 pins standart , and you can use your old MHL cable.
already tested and works perfect!!!

[Q][DISCUSSION] S3 mini Prepaid Variant (Virgin Mobile Galaxy Ring SPH - M840)

I recently picked up the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini Virgin Mobile variant, the Samsung Galaxy "Ring" (SPH - M840) and noticed that there isn't much of any development going on for this phone(or it's Boost Mobile sister the "Prevail 2") at all. So it got me to thinking to ask here, could someone try to build a CM 11 (4.4.4 android) ROM for this device? Or at least find a way to port S3 mini ROMs to this phone?
Being stuck with 4.1.2 is slightly annoying for me on this phone, considering I'm coming from an ancient LG Optimus V that is running 4.4.4, and this was supposed to be an upgrade for me.
I have it rooted, and using xposed Framework, but I miss the perks of custom ROMs. There's hardly a fully functional custom Recovery too, and it seems that theres no signs of current Devs for this phone as well.
I know this may seem like a lot to ask, but considering this phone is supposed to be similar(some hardware is different I believe) to the S3 mini, I figured I'd take my chances here.
