Google Wallet v1.1 R41v8 for CM9 Alpha 17 - Nexus S Themes and Apps

Here's a working flashable for Google Wallet, for CM9. This should be applied to a fresh CM9 install, via ClockWorkMod.

If you installed a version of Wallet prior, you will need to revert back to stock AOSP/CM9 libraries for my version to work. Please install this preinstall package before installing Wallet:

Please post your results in this thread.

I was able to straight install this from the market. Is this for GSM nexus phones?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G

Yes this is for non-4G. Wallet is available to all Nexus S 4G users through the market, by default.

Re-uploaded due to syntax error.

when i try to install google wallet say error: installation aborted
update: i re-download the .zip and work thank you

installed fine this time. But Im still getting "wallet has stopped working" messages.

Thanks! Seems to be working on my AOSP+ ROM too. It crashed on first start but the app is loading...need to go to store and test it out

Did you install any other versions of Wallet prior?
You need the stock AOSP/CM9 libraries for this to work.

Thanks for coming up with your wallet package

I've heard that you can...
You have to purchase a prepaid VISA. If you live close to the border you can purchase a prepaid VISA for $100. Then call them up to activate it for use for online purchases. Give them a fake US address found in Google Maps, and use this same address when refilling your Google Prepaid VISA.
I'm not sure if this will also work with prepaid VISAs purchased in Canada.
and a big thanks goes to OP for providing a working Google Wallet! Works great! same with the preinstall

works great with pixel's rom as well. thanks!

Google Wallet on i9020A/i9020T/i9023

EDIT: This has been discontinued and downloads removed
Just after getting the 2.3.6 ota on my USA import Nexus i9020a I decided to try the Google Wallet files from the NS4G 2.3.7.... They worked. I even could add the prepaid 10$ card and i'm on SaskTel in Canada .
Attached is a flashable zip that should work on all i902x models (i can't test it since i'm in Canada).
Install Method: Unsigned, must flash through ClockworkMod Recovery.
Compatibility: i9020A/i9020T/i9023 (2.3.6)
Other Roms: It may work on roms other than the 2.3.6 ota but if it doesn't just remove the files listed below via ADB.
Code:
/System/Shopper.apk
/System/Wallet.apk
/Lib/libshopperimageutils-3.so
/Lib/libshoppervorbisencoder-2.so
/Lib/libshopperzxingutils-4.so
Note: Credit goes to YourMainDude for the files i used in the Nfc fix
Working on T-Mobile nexus here in Australia. Received 10 dollar gift card.

Why not? There are many places there in Canada that support Master card paypass system. It should work...

It seems to rely on core libraries that only exist in the Nexus S 2.3.6 & 2.3.7 builds. CM may lack them.

Ah.. Good to know CM is going past 2.3.4. I'm thinking its a library that's exclusive to the builds for the Nexus S models (eg. something that isn't in public code yet).

You should try, but don't forget to bring cash, just in case ... And maybe google will provide some other way to add funds to prepaid card, we'll see..
This is the message I'm receiving. Is it just Wallet app that's force closing, or is 'nfcrel' different element that has to do with security?

Try launching the app with DDMS open to see what exactly fails. Be sure to post the log chunk from the crash ( I cant do much about it but at least we will know why its not working.
It could be a security module that's not in AOSP yea.
Just pushed it to the phone, working on China-Mobile here in China, even got the USD10 Google Pre-paid card. Just dunno where to use it here.

I used wifi, market enabler on (not that it matters) but who knows...took a bit time when adding the card but eventually it went through

[PORT of sort] ASUS Transformer Browser

Hey folks, this is my first time messing around with apks so I thought I'd share this.
After playing around with my mother's Transformer I became rather fond of the thumb scroller in the browser so I've taken it for myself.
Anyways, I know its not much but its a nice accessory to the browser - especially when up against long pages.
Be sure to keep copy your current browser in a safe place should something happen.
Here's the link
http://www.mediafire.com/?110eabgnidd9bdc
just installed this - working fine, and I like the thumb browser.
I have lost all my browser favourites.... which for some odd reason won't sync themselves back....
other than that, perfect.
That's odd, that was the first thing I double checked as I didn't want to lose my bookmarks. Being a Google sync thing I didn't think that should happen at all.
This Browser is pretty fast. Works fine here too, also no issues with my bookmarks! Thanks
Do we have to be rooted? Or can we just install the apk?

Can you also get a hold of the framework folder?
Unfortunately, rubio, I'm not sure but looking it up I've found that if the name of the apk has changed that could cause it so make sure it says "browser.apk" and if you are installing it from your SD card make sure it's installing from the internal memory. I hope that helps.

yes.
so i spoke too soon, I am stuck at "setting up wallet for purchases"....looking into it. if you want to try i am posting it here.
generaly the "setting up purchases" was a build.prop error.(setting up cards) maybe we need an htc build.prop
(i think) there is another way that works...not for me though. using an xposed framework and modaco's toolbox (see google play.)

For kicks & giggles, try this one until I get the new one pulled and uploaded. Please lemme know if it worked cuz I'm still on Stock OS atm, working with some stuff for the future custom ROMs. Just install like a normal app cuz I could never get it to work when flashed to system. BTW, an advantage of an older VVM.apk is the lack of payment requests..

Hey, thanks for still trying! Unfortunately it dies the same thing as the one I pulled from my device before putting a Rom on here. Server and verification issues.
Update, about 10 minutes after I installed, I got an update and it installed a new version. I called myself from another phone number and left a voicemail and it did come through on the app! The only downside is that it sends an annoying text every time you get a voicemail. But it's always from the same number, so I blocked it. Thank you very much!

Not a problem, glad it settled in. I'm working on some stuff and will try to do the flashable sometime soon. The oddball thing is that it resides in the OEM partition and flashing to them is a bit new for many of us. But like I said, seems to be (or very close to) Project Treble capable (that's a good thing for potential future OS updates)
