I do not know how to fix this

I remember when I used to run Linux it would mean you need to download something to get it to run right.
Sent from my XT862 using XDA App
Download what?
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
Crap misread it. What are permissions for the files? I'm shooting in the dark. It had been a minute since I used Linux not counting Android.

Im not sure, I need to look when I get home

Quick guess: Does typing 'aapt' into your command prompt work?
That's getting "permission denied" from the OS (error 13) but I don't know if it's trying to run aapt from your path, or from a bundled copy.
If it's a bundled copy, you want something like:
Code:
chmod a+x aapt
I had used aapt in the command line and it just comes out as "permission denied "

hello, im back in town and back on my comp, and tried starting from scratch but still the same error, MrObvious asked me about file permissions, how do you view the file permissions? does it have to do with java?

If you mean the red outlined part, I believe that would be
title_bar_portrait
At least that what it looks like.
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Which is weird. Because mine is not colored black :-/ It's #333333.
Maybe my 9patch got messed up. Ill re-do it when I get back to work Monday and see if that's it. Thanks.
Sent from my FroyoEris using XDA App
Ok, that's not it. I replaced the one from kayosfroyo and that one is the title bar in the notifications drop down. Anyone else have a clue? Is it maybe in an xml file?

This has bugged me for a while. Says there is 4.09MB used but there is bugger all in there except for a 33K log file!
What's going on?

I believe it has hidden directories where stuff are stored....
I give up writing anymore signatures.
Can't you see these in root explorer?
This used to have the full 25MB free. Space only ever used when downloading apps.

You sure nothing exists in your download folder ?

Maybe something in the dalvik cache folder.but root explorer can't read some directories many a times

All I can see in any of the folders is the small log file.

Root explorer might not show everything.
Maybe try listing all files and directories in there with adb?

This was extracted from an early build of jellybean and I think is a really nice android styled Emoji keyboard. I hate iPhone Emoji.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Install the apk. Use a root explorer and put the lib file in /system/lib. Change its permissions to 0644 or rw-r-r. Reboot. Then while in texting just select the alternate keyboard called Emoji input and when done hit cancel to go back to default keyboard.
Downloads:

lib file
If you need any help let me know. Also the other person should have a jellybean android phone or an iPhone.
Reupload please.
Thx
Sure hang on

Hi all,
How can I remove this search by Google bar from my status bar? (don't know how it got there unfortunately).
It's linking to: search.mobirowser.com/?app_id=95280&p=nsw

I take it chrome is your default browser, check in the settings for chrome, or reset the to default.
Aha! I like it acctually, so this is what you get if you download latest Chrome?
Edit: No I don't have it
Looking at where it's linking to I'd say some crapware app put it there.
Googling mobirowser.com gives the whois records for some shady sites, probably link sites to get add referrals.
Start by removing apps you installed last or don't need.

sounds feasable. Try downloading addons detector and running that. That app is very good at finding that sort of thing...
Found it!
It turned out to be an unofficial rotten tomatoes app.

glad I could help, I take it you use addon detector?

Facebook home is not available in the Play Store for D4, as it says its unsupported. I found the apk for it and tried it, but to no avail. Maybe it will eventually be supported, who knows

.
I've read nothing good about Facebook Home from those who've tried it.
Facebook messenger works (chat heads) without Facebook home installed....and that's the only thing I've heard people actually like about it.

Read the forums. I found a thread about it the other day and installed the Xposed Installer.apk, then installed facebook home.apk inside of the installer. It installs as a module in the app. Possibly try that. I haven't seen anything interesting yet though.
