any updates for cyanogenmod after the CM7.1 release on 9,11,2011?

Hi! I'm new to xda developers. I already got Android 2.3.7, along with Cyanogenmod 7.1 released on 9th Nov. I would like to know if there are any updates on this. I also saw a post on Cyanigenmod 9! Will it be available for my Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 anytime soon. Pls do reply. And I would also like to thank tj_style for the custom roms, CM7! Thanx!

Dude, the page isn't even loading.... I think you copied and pasted the link of the file you tried to download after letting the timer run on uploadking.... Give the original link man....

It solves mirror third party cam problems and it is more stable !

also new here to xda..personally think latest release of squadzone CM7 is better than tj..

but i think the quadrant score is lower than the original cm7,

i will give it a try as soon the new build is out

I got the latest CM 7.2. by squadzone. RC 1. But I think the one by tj-style dated 09102011 is still the best! Pls reply your valuable opinions..

[Q] Sim application toolkit on cm7

Hello to all ...
I would like to install in my samsung galaxy ace rom series CyanogenMod.
At the moment I have not yet done so because there is no SIM toolkit application.
I ask you to help resolve this issue.
For business reasons I can not do without this application.
Do you have advice for me??

At the moment I do not use a rom derived from CyanogenMod.
Now I use the Mushrom W4 based on 2.3.5.
I tried the 7.1-cooper-KANG CyanogenMod-2.3.7 RC1 Android by Grif but did not have the sim application toolkit.
I just wanted to know if there is a possibility of being able to implement the ROM or as a separate application or acting on the root.
If this possibility exists I wanted to have some instructions on how to do.
I would be happy even know where to find the necessary files.
I thank you for the reply and hope you can help me.

Yea there is another way by placing the simtoolkit.apk in system/app manually, but I'm having odexed rom files.
If u use odexed rom den I will upload for u.

I read that it is based on cooper KANG CyanogenMod 7.2 Android 2.3.7 RC0 by vo-1 which is odexed build of CM7.2.
If you could give me the simtoolkit.apk I try to put it in this rom.
If along with the link to download the application you could also give me the instructions would help me a lot

Hi, it does come with stk.apk but I don't know if it works, I've never used sim toolkit.

[Q] Fastest, Most Stable, Very few bugs ROM

guyss... please tell me which is the best ROM for my android phone Samsung Mini GT-s5570...
i want the rom to be
1. Stable
2. Bugless ROM.. or if it has bugs, they should be nill important
3. Speed.. i definately wish that ROM is faster if not fastest..
my android version is 2.3.6.... and i live in India....
i have tried MINIMOD.. CM 9.. CM 7 (different rc's).. emanon rom.. etc etc..
but i found all to have bugs.. especially bugs like 3g not getting connected... or in the market, the download doesnt start..

Yeah thats true every custom rom have some bugs.... So try stock XWKTH awesome rom to use without any bug.....

That's been my choice for some time now. First Psyches version for the Galaxy 5 and mini and then mebiteks version (the same as Psyches but with updated code) for the mini.
It's very stable and fast.
Of course, nothing beats stock when it comes to stability, just make sure you use the proper version. Easiest way to do that is to use CheckFusDownloader.

True, Mebitek's version is very stable, followed very closely by crazy kp music edition v3 (which I'm currently using).

i stay in india and so for my country, the version for stock rom is 5570-DDKQ7... so r u sure whether the stock rom you mentioned would work ??

It's the latest 2.3.6 ROM for India, there is no newer stock ROM so there is no use upgrading it.

I don't know why the poll has CM9. Its still in beta stage (duhh) its full of bugs (ofcourse its going to be the best rom ever once its fully functional ). Also why the poll doesn't have CM7 by mebitek? Its stable,fast nd battery saving. Same with CM7 RC5.6. Its still buggy.
The poll starter must be really sad. ( sorry no offense meant, just annoyed by the fact that these roms weren't included )

the best rom for our mini at the moment is the Official CM 7.2 Nightly build

Yup it will work. officially its for Poland but i m in Pakistan using it without any problem so u can use it too...

Since the XWKTH has the Euro baseband i imagine that the DDQK7 would work better for GSM/GPRS/G3/GPS and language.
The XWKTH is basically the same ROM as DDQK7 but with European settings.

No NO nO it is not as same DDQK7 coz it have new lockscreen like galaxy note new call interference more juice for battery more smooth....

No! But custom ROMs are always there for you. Maclaw's CM9 is based on original ICS.

It can be. But Samsung won't provide it. Maclaw had made a CM9(ICS) build which works perfectly 95% but flashing it will void your warranty!

Go to the Dev section, look for [ICS] tags in the threads.
Currently the camera does not work on any ics builds, this may be fixed in the future. If you do decide to flash make sure you read the instructions on how to flash in the rom thread.
Samsung will never provide an official ics.

Where have you been bro? Lagloose and some members (i think) of galaxyICS team already made a patch for cam. although it has no preview. And OP, official ICS, NO Unofficial ICS, WIP already, almost perfect

it can b upgraded via cm9 as said b4 ....but since u ahve bought your phone recently u may want to check the model no ... the roms here are mainly for GT S5830 not its variants like GT S5830i ....if your phone is GT S5830i then the roms wont work for you

Oh okay. Try Cyanogen Mod 10.1 PRO from OldDroid. It's got some bugs (Like pinch to zoom), but super fast and stable.
I am also busy with a new build so you could wait for that too

[ROM]CM7.2-RC3-AA[Update 4.7.12][BLACKHAWK-OC-&-FIREKERNEL-OC] Rom Is Awesome i ever Found on XDA.
I have tried more then 50 Roms for my Galaxy Ace.
But this is the most Stable, Smooth, Fast & Smart Looking Rom.
I am using this Rom about 3 Months & confidently say that this is the best Rom For Galaxy Ace GT-S5830.
I want to thank this Developer for giving us such a Wonderful Rom.

Sorry I know u ask for JB, but have you tried Democrazy CM7 ? Is pretty good.
Now I throw a question? Why would you use CM10 that is a lot heavier than CM7 which doesnt let much space to install things in it?
What is the point of having latest but super limited phone?
Is there something that I am missing?

in CM10.1 i found huge battery draining.and none of good script to increase internal memory.
thats why i m using this Rom.
But i m eagerly waiting For full Bug free JB Rom.

I donno what was my mistake. But on whatever thread I go & though I'm kind, some people on xda are targeting me like I'm their enemy. Feeling left out...

There's a bunch of JB roms, I'm using right now CyanogenMod 10.1 PRO and is awesome everything works smoothly I just have one problem though, I can't use a VPN. If you dont mind then that's a good choice.
