I will NOT fix the bugs, and you should NOT complain to CyanogenMod because KANG SUPPORT IS NOT WHAT THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO DO. THIS IS A PREVIEW.
Anyway, thanks! although the previous one is cleary stated KANGed.
Thanks...
I installed the first one and have been using this all day. It is MUCH faster and smoother then the HC 3.1 and 3.2 ROM's I have been using. I am REALLY looking forward to the final release.
Thank you for this preview..

Bug fixes and increased wifi strength and data stuff I believe (nothing major).
There is no changelog because it is the first version! And no screenshots either because visually nothing has changed from aosp (and its a beta, you don't ask for screenshots in the CM nightly thread do you?).

You could always specify in the first changelog the changes you made from AOSP.
Additionally, since you didn't specify in the thread it was an AOSP build, people can't really assume that, and thus ask for screenshots.
Just saying. You could maneuver a lot of "unwanted" replies by posting comprehensive information.

The whole thread is meant to direct people to RootzWiki for info, and if people asked stuff there, or even read through stuff there then these unwanted replies wouldn't be needed either. Once again why I dislike XDA, I only put this up here after a request at RootzWiki to put a link, not because I felt like getting questions like this.

come on Jonathan,
you are directing the same people presumably inpolite from xda to rootwiki.com, how can the mentality change?
i agree that things are not how they were on xda but one thing i know is that there will never be a better resource than xda. I can bet you that even if you decide to post only on rootwiki, you'll still come on xda to check out the latest. since long devs have tried to do that, first was htcpedia.com ( during the windows 6,6.x era ) , even paul coudnt come close with modaco.
I seriously think you should stick to xda. My 2 cents.
Please keep all posts related to development only.

Can't wait to get all flash happy again!
First and foremost I did not make this rom!!Found this in one of the many korean sites being routed through lately.LOL now most of the builds found were mostly just ripoffs of something else with the exception of possibly this one?? Its a blur based rom running os 2.3.5 with fauxs kernel already installed.
I'm just posting this for the flash fiends who really wanted to try this out. It seems quite stable as I've been running it as my daily driver all day without issue. No reboots no fc's and to me its the most responsive blur rom I've ever tried! It boots and shuts off pretty much as quick as CM7 which was shocking!

Do not thank me thank woorim98 for creating this and faux for his kernel.
Only thing I did was test this to make sure it was safe for xda users before posting it so if you wanna thank me for testing it thats fine but I nor anyone else besides the 2 mentioned should take credit for the creation of this rom! That is all!

If this is what I think it is, a port of the recently released Google vanilla s4, then this should be interesting. Granted, there are proprietary drivers and software for touchwiz devices, it might not be as exciting or feature laden as tw, but it is certainly something different. No, I was too lazy to read the link for clarification.

Actually, they're two separate things.
I just got the new build box up and running so first order of business was making sure PA and AOKP build properly.
Those builds got posted this morning.
Next I'll be working on the Google Edition stuff to see if we can't make a pure AOSP ROM.
Also curious at the kernel to see how it stacks up versus what CM is already using.

Like anything else I work on, too many factors and especially this one needs to be looked at carefully.
For example, the file released by JBQ looks awfully similar to what Samsung OSRC normally releases.
But when I asked before - well, can we build with that? - the answer was no.
Reason being we need things like the proprietary binaries that are up to Samsung to release.
I'm going to start by what JBQ said to do:
1) Make a clean AOSP repo
2) Drop their changes on top of that repo.
3) Add kernel - which I still want to compare to the source used in CM.
Anything else I may use what was pulled for CM (such as vendor blobs) to fill in the gaps.
We'll see if this plan of attack works or not.

Right, but they take obnoxiously long to release anything since they always want it to be as bug free as possible. I'd say they will be 3rd or 4th. AOKP or Paranoid will do it first. My money is on AOKP or Slimbean.

I hope pa, but it depends more on other apps working with 4.3. Like touchcontrol etc. I was supposed to keep this phone close to stock when I got it some weeks ago, but pie and dpi settings convinced me.
PA is merging with 4.3 as we speak. Probably see a build today or tomorrow
