i have one..
but i don't use.. my phone isnt fat!!
Cases have one, big disadvantage... It wipes a "chrome" frame from our Ace.
That's because the frame isn't actually chrome, but it's made of plastic.
Sad but true.
But it's better to have a case and protect our Ace.

It won't leave any marks, but it will wipe silver frame, because it's made of plastic.
Sooner or later it will happen without using any case.
By the way:
Case has special buttons inside it, so it's not a problem to push Ace's buttons.
I have the TPU rubber case from amazon, it fits perfect & looks pretty good, was 1$ with free shipping.
Ive got the same

i think capdase case is much better the original one
I saw one here locally but unfortunately they are knockoffs. I want to buy the real deal but I spent a whole afternoon scouring the local mall but to no avail. lol.
TPU case seems to be the way to go then?

I paid £1 on ebay for a nice BLACK one.
Here in the Philippines it has a lot of colors to choose from ) and yeah it's more or less $2 here. I had a black case but I changed it for a Capdase softcase protector.
is that an original capdase? where did you buy and how much?

nah. In my school's parking lot (UST) 250
Got this case too, its nice and really grippy. Have a similar one for my Galaxy 5 too.
I have it in dark blue. Take a look at how the slots for camera, flash, phone strap, speaker, SD card, volume and lock buttons are fit perfectly:
nly 10 bucks r u serious???
I'm looking for this perforated cover from long,
but bought this capdase Soft Jacket 2 Xpose
but its uncomfortable, its thick border makes touch screen hard to use at sides
At first I was also looking forward to using Capdase but this perforated case really sold me. It's simple, cheap, thin, grippy, easy to attach and detach, and doesn't collect dust at all. One more thing is that the holes in it seem to provide good heat transfer with the environment, thereby reducing heat losses and eventually improve battery more than the "closed" ones such as Capdase. Got it for P80 ($1.87) here in the Philippines.

you can get one like this on eBay for 1-2 $.... search s5830 case...
You can also have a look at these ones.
capdase case i much better the original one i bought it for about 850 pesos in greenhills ($18~$20)
How about this ?
hi im new here... i just wanna ask if samsung galaxy mini really needs a screen guard or the screen can survive without it??
Mine has no single scratch though my phone falled from me several times, but absolutely it is better to use one.
It's not that hard to scratch it with e.g. keys, so it's better to get some screen guard IMO
thanks a lot
ill browse around the forums for a while..
thanks.
It can live without it but I also recommend to use one I'm currently using that no-fingerprint, anti-glare ones and they're pretty cool. I'm too lazy to put the phone to the leather bag case so I decided to combine the screen protector and the silicone case. Now the phone and screen are protected and it's easier to pick up a call when I have only one free hand at the moment..

yes bro get Protector as soon as possible, Its screen is not scratchless. I did a some mistake and now my mini got scratches
I gone to a mobile shop, there I asked for screen protector.
He applied and I was back home playing with mini as usual. But I noticed some peeling on the top left corner.
My friend tried to remove the protector and he removed completely without any pressure.
Then analysing the shape of the protector I find that it had cutted through scissors which was not original(it was made by some other company)
So I ask that should I opt for silicon protector or which some other one.
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
Suggest private screen guard
Mine just fine maybe u got no luck hehe. Why dont u claim for the new one from the shop? I suggest to use private screen guard and i love it because only you can see your screen, if there is someone looking your phone from beside they wont see any.
hi
with screen guard it better
you should ask first, what kind of protector they gonna give you and what it looks like.
for me, I'm using capdase anti-glare. not really great performances, but it's better than nothing.
better to use one

i have covered my cellphone using bag from zekler eye protectors
does anyone have an exact size and shape for the screen of Galaxy Mini?
i want to use mirrorized screen protector but i can only find 5" cut-it-yourself ones. and nothing for the mini itself.
i would like a guide for a perfectly accurate shape.
thanks!!
yes, its need.
Okay guys, I got this case about a month ago now and have dropped my phone about 4 or 5 times from my waste to the sidewalk and absolutely nothing has happened to my phone.
I highly reccomend this case.

It also has a cool little kickstand on it for when you are watching videos, surfing the web with various mousepads, keyboards, etc.
And don't forget gaming with a bluetooth gamepad.
It also comes with a cool little beltclip, very handy id you dont want to shove this beast of a phone into your pocket,
Very nice case, only for about $8.00 USD.
Here is a link if you would like to purchase one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Rugge...435987?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2ec37feb13
In my opinion, it was MORE than worth the $8 I payed.
Hope you guys enjoy
I know this is offtopic but that beltclip is exactly what Otterbox Commuter case needs, take notice Otterbox
Yea that's the only reason I didn't get an Otterbox.
I'm sorry I couldn't post photos of the beltclip but nonetheless, very useful.

ive got one of those cases. its definitely one of the best cases ive ever bought from ebay. its quite durable and offers a lot of drop protection.
the only thing i didnt like was the stand mechanism. when its fully locked open, it feels like its going to snap when i try to close it. aside from that, definitely worth the money.
That's a brick... excessively thick for my taste...
You bought a Galaxy Note II...
I dont see how size of the case would come into play at all, you have the biggest phone on the market.

The phone might be big but it's pretty thin width-wise which makes it easier to use etc
Does the silicone pick up lint?
Would you say this case is as thick as the commuter or is it thinner?
Thanks
The silicone does not pickup lint.
I keep the kickstand on it at all times so its like a hard case with a jelly core.
Very good resistance if you drop your device.
It is quite thin and only bulks your device about a quarter to a half inch more.

I managed to make it 2 weeks unscathed with great care but I finally fell victim to a few scratches in the corners on the front and back and a chip in the middle (Just my luck, the case arrives today as well '-.-). Sure I heard the warnings of it being slippery but I guess I was surrounded by level surfaces all the time..Nonetheless while turning into a parking lot at a decent speed, my poor nexus leaped out of the cupholder like a bar of soap and onto the floor. Luckily, I managed to both grab it without holding up traffic or completely destroying the screen by stepping on it/dragging it too much across the floor trying to retrieve it. I guess this experience is motivation enough to keep my car cleaner >_>. My pure android experience isn't completely ruined but you can see the scratches if you look hard enough...Perfectionists be further warned.

I decided to go with a diztronic tpu like I did on my galaxy s2 and it will be waiting for me when I get off work. It should serve me pretty well, I'm not very accident prone with my electronics...This however was a very unfortunate freak accident.
This has been mentioned a few times in the various review & first impression threads. No need to have another discussion about this.

While I don't yet have this device, I plan on getting it soon. Been shopping cases and such (with loads of help from you all) and found this cover. Gotta admit I am intrigued by it. Wondering if anyone has it yet or seen one. Here is the link.

Damn that is a sexy case!! If it wasn't aluminum I'd buy it. Also if it wasn't $69.. thats steep for a case.
That looks futuristicly sick, nice ... too bad it will most likely mess with my imagnet stand and or wireless charging.

Maybe there will be more reviews about signal interference by then as well.
That one shouldn't interfere with signal too bad as the aluminum is only in the front bezel, the back is tpu lined polycarbonate which will have no effect on the signals. The one thing it *may* mess with is the spen, but if it's really a1 aircraft grade aluminum the impact should be very minimal.
I like to break stuff!
If they had an option for a holster that would be better.
Wow. Impressive case

Would've liked a black/gunmetal grey front option. Not a fan of the white/silver front plates.
well, don't worry, with at least 2 months until these things are for sale, you never know what they might end up coming out with..

That picture makes it look impossible to remove the Spen..
I wish I could find a valid explanation from a usability standpoint of why they make all the ports with such sharp edges on the aluminium bumpers and such.. Would be better to have a slight curve or angle of depression.
