Converting zip to APK... - Motorola Droid Bionic

I need a zip to APK converter. I had bought n64oid back when it was in the marketplace. His last update that i saved had the file in my /data/app/ folder in zip format not apk. Now I want to install it on my bionic and xoom. I have paid for it. But I can't install from a zip. Or figure a way to. So does anyone know how to convert it to an APK? or if he is selling it somewhere else now, maybe I can get it there...
If this is considered against TOS I'm sorry. I did pay for the game. I do own it. I'm not asking for warez. Just help getting my game working. But close this and deal whatever punishment you deem neccessary if this is against TOS. Sorry.

Edit: found it for sale on another site. Will just re-buy it. Playing WCW/ NWO Revenge and No Mercy is worth $5 again.

Thanks for posting this!
As I always do with big companies like this, I checked Amazon's website to see if they truly had released an app and someone wasn't just playing with us in a phishing scam. It's legit, it's real, and here's the link:
Amazon's Press Release
I'm not a huge Amazon user, but I do shop there from time to time. This is really a great way to reach customers. Kudos to Amazon!
Now if they could just make a Kindle reader for Android...

Could you (or anyone else for that matter) please post the apk file?
I've just searched for it here in the spanish android market and can't find it.
I use to buy stuff from Amazon and an app like this would be great.

It's a tool some italian guys developed before Google opened the Italian market for paid apps so they could buy in the US one.
Besides allowing that, it comes with an added benefit and it's that it allows getting any app from the US market, even if it isn't available for the UK, Spanish or any other market.
The app requires root, but that I suppose won't be a problem for any xda user. You can get it here
Amazon.com app
Just found out about this app and it sounds really interesting. Only issue is it's not available on the market in the UK (at least... I assume it isn't. I can't find it...)
Would someone be able to upload the apk? It's a free app so I'm not stealing it or anything
And I understand it probably only searches amazon.com, but I'm really not that bothered about that
There's already discussion on this. It was the third result when I searched: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544239

any way to update a market app not installed by market?

i have new apps installed not by market, is there a way to link them so i can get new updates? i downloaded gem miner dig deeper and its version is like 1.2 and newest is like 2.1 or somthing, i want to update my app. is there anyway to do that?... i cant update because that app isnt linked to the market app but it is on the market. it just doesnt show ive previously downloaded because it was installed from my computer
Sent from my Eris using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
yea download the app threw the market and it will install on top of the other version, then you will have updates as well. unless its a paid app that you didnt pay for, then we cant help you as that would be illegal. im not saying you did, just putting it there.
I am running evil eris and installed all of my apps from an astro backup and they wouldnt automatically update for a week or so but then all of the sudden i started getting notifications saying that app updates are available and it worked. I dunno if I got lucky but I definitely installed all of my apps from a backup and not the market. Updated scannerbuddy this morning as a matter of fact.
i have a paid app from a torrent i would like to update and add to my market

which is completely illegal and could get you banned from this site for mentioning that you stole the app, or could get you in big legal trouble. might i suggest you pay the 2.99 for the app (cost of most apps) and support the dev. its really not that much considering your phone bill is over $90 each month, so i think we all are rich enough to give up $3 to devs for their hard work.

[REQ] Flyscreen tablet apk

Would anyone be willing to upload a copy of Flyscreen for Tablets from the market? I have a G-Tablet, and apparently the Android Market doesn't see it as a tablet device(yes, insert G-Tab jokes here), and I don't have the option to download it. I see it just fine on the web store, but there's no way to get it downloaded. It's a free app, so no piracy involved.

installed fine for me. there was an authorisation error in a previous release i read in the comments...

Problem I'm having, being a G-Tablet owner I can't even see the app in the market. I was hoping a Xoom owner could pull the apk with Root Explorer or some equivalent and post it here so I could install it.

Fruit Ninja THD gamesave?

Does anybody have a gamesave with all the blades and backgrounds? I had them and somehow my save data deleted itself. I'm angry to the point where I don't even want to play the game anymore to get those back. Took too long to get them all.
Warez is not allowed here. Next offense in this thread will result in a temp ban.
I was unaware that gamesave data was warez. Seeing as how its not even close to asking for the apk itself.

You did not ask for the game, but someone posted it none the less.
Oh, didn't know that. I would never ask for a non free apk. But anyway, I just need the savedata. Hope somebody can help. If not oh well.
Precisely, as bwcorvus said. If someone would like to post the save data from the /data partition alone, that's fine. The Titanium Backup link that I had deleted also contained the actual APK file compressed in a gzip.
I know you weren't looking for the pirated APK, SYF, which is why I didn't delete or close the thread. Sorry for the confusion and hassle.

2 games one folder, please help!

Hey guys first post. I have side loaded 2 games to my HP TouchPad. I had to copy the game data folders to root. The problem is Both of the folders have the same name, and when I change the name of either one the games will not start. Is there a way change the name of the destination file of one of the games, or set one of the folders to a different path, and the game still work. My operating system is ics 4.04' and I am rooted. I have a HP touch pad. As said prior. Also I've looked everywhere for this post and could not find it anywhere on the net. Thanks for any help in advance.
Well I thought this was the place to come for answers but apparently not this is my first post its been here for days and I have 0 replies I will check post 1 more time in after that cancel my account.
I don't understand what you're asking. Why did you move anything to root and why did you move app data? Do you mean the apk? How did you sideload the apps?
Explain what you have done, and why? Can't answer questions that doesn't make sense.

OK I will re-explain. I am rooted on an hp touchpad . Running cyanogenmod 9 4.04 ics. I have side loaded 2 games meaning installed them from the internet not downloaded through the play store. I put 2 games at the root of my SD card. Spiderman and wild blood, by installing the apk, then pasting the game data at root of SD card with, es file explorer. The two games both use the folder gameloft. You cannot have two folders with the same name on the SD card. I have found a couple scripts that will change the destination (file path) of the games, but has not worked. I thought there might be a way to change the name of the folder where the game would still recognize the folder as its data. Though I cannot find a script to do so. So I am stuck changing the name of one of the folders every time I want to play one of those games. I need help getting both games to play without having to change the name of the game folder to play. Thanks for any help and expertise in advance. Merry Christmas. A speedy reply would be much appreciated.
With the gameloft games, there is a file folder inside which has the actual game, just move the contents of one gameloft folder to the other and put that folder on the root and it will work...and threatning for an answer by saying you will delete your account, is going to get you nowhere fast
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
This is true. I am certain that if you took time to explore the file system, that you would discover the directory includes a number of redundant file paths. Take for example:
/sdcard/Gameloft/data/wildblood
/sdcard/Gameloft/data/spiderman
This could be solved by merging the folders resulting in a single file path:
/sdcard/Gameloft/data/wildblood
...................................../spiderman
See what we mean?

People like you really irritate me. Self-entitled, demanding little children who contribute nothing to the scene except a sense of unjustified "I DESERVE YOUR ASSISTANCE AND SERVICE, PEASANTS, OR I AM TAKING MY BALL AND GOING HOME!".
"It worked", indeed. I hope your tablet bricks.
Like most posts on the forum everyone would say the first thing you need to do is search! Your going to delete you account? *clap clap* go ahead. If you don't know how to do something so simple just because there's not a step by step guide to it and you get negative Nancy about it. I'm surprised you didn't brick your touchpad because its well deserved.

Thank you for being a complete account troll this post is almost a year old, and hasn't been posted on in forever. Also the only way I could get anyone to post was these extreme measures. Guess what the next day I received replies. So everybody gets mad, but finally I get a reply, and guess what? It didn't work anyway. Gameloft does not allow 2 or more games in one directory. By the way don't bother writing back, cause I'm not one of these tarded trolls who waste there breathe, and 2 pages arguing, cause I had a life. C-ya troll.
