Hi everyone! As you know, since JVT the i9000 has an endless scrolling in the menu and homescreen. My question is, could it be disabled? And how?

it all depends on the launcher app you are using.. and the settings that you have done for it
If you have not tried adw ex launcher give it a try, it has a ton of options to do whatever you want your homepage and app drawer to do.

Hi all,
I've got a little question, i've update to Galnet v3.3 works fine,
but the scroller on the bottom (above the bottom buttons) has disappeared
any idea what I can do?
Cheers,
Wilco
Where did you find this "Galnet" launcher?
the Miui launcher does not have an app drawer. all of your apps will be in the home screens. If you dont like it, install another launcher
Galnet is the ROM you are using right? Do you mean the indicator which shows you which page you are on? It's theme dependant so try changing the theme.

Oh sorry for the confusion!
I updated my galnet rom and this had the standard miui launcher, other co workers have the same version and have the same launcher but at the bottom there is a slider normally do you can quickly
slide to the last home screen, that's gone
Cheers,
waw

i am looking for a launcher that has grids. im currently using go launcher which is nice coz of folders and stuff but i wan grids so i can organise my apps by page. anyone know this type of launcher?
Most launchers have both a grid-based homescreen and app drawer, so... maybe you could explain it a bit better?

as in grid based app drawer that lets you leave spaces like touch wiz but still have folder options.
Hey, I just flashed my Captivate with CM 7.1 and I'm having issues with ADW. I loooove the launcher, but I can't figure out how to reduce the number of homescreens. I know I can use launcher pro to do this, but I'd rather not. Is there anyway I can set it to just two homescreens? I'm running ADW "version 1.3.6 system CM 1.1".
I'm absolutely positive you can do that. Unfortunately I haven't used ADW in ages so I cannot tell you exactly where to look. Just keep perusing the settings and I'm sure you'll find it somewhere.
Can you do a pinch-swiping action on the home screen and see if it does an overview of the screens? If so, you might be able to delete from there.

Try going into the settings app and look for adwlauncher as a menu option. I think it is in there.

Hello all!
I just installed the Hello Bean Rom and its smooth and fun - sadly my Launcher Home Screen won't rotate. The other apps and such have no issues with rotations. Just the Launcher itself refuses to.
I assume this is th enormal behaviour.
Is there a way I can get it to rotate? Like a new Launcher?
Thanks in advance.

This is normah behavior, you must download another launcher if you need that to rotate.

Does anybody know if theres a way to hide apps in the trebuchet launcher app drawer? I know other lauchers like Holo and Nova can do it, but it would be nice if the stock launcher for CM10 could do it too.
Nope. Cant be done.

Well, thanks for the to-the-point answer.
I figured as the primary launcher for such a customizable ROM like CM10, that might be something they looked into.
Any recommendations on launchers that can do this for free?

i know iam ressurecting an very old thread but its one of the first results searching for trebuchet and hiding apps in google so i think i shoult write the solution here.
i dont know for 10.0 but in 10.1 it CAN be done
unfortuante its an awefully hidden option
you have to go to setting - launcher - app - hideapps
i knew i saw it today when i walked trough the menus lol
upside it always shows all apps and you can simple toggle on of (unlike samsung touchwiz option)
but sadly the launcher is really the weak point here when it comes to organizing apps

Yeah haha, they finally put it into cm 10.1. That's why this thread died.
To anyone who might still want to hide apps in cm 12. and above ,just go to launcher options and down click protect app. Do what is neccessary and select apps you want to hide and protect
