Now that we have root. If your still running stock and dislike the HTC lockscreen download root explorer from the market. Go to system, apps, htclockscreen.apk and rename to htclockscreen.apk.bak ,reboot and you will have the stock gingerbread lockscreen.

This file was ripped from a Samsung Moment.
Tested.
EDIT: Drag to /system/app like karallam said with the explorer that you like. This is also launcher 1 and not launcher2 like on froyo.

Click to collapse
Just download the stock theme, no need to replace the whole launcher when these roms are capable to be themed on the fly

No problem I'm the same way when it comes to my launcher... Like the stock one better.
How do you install it? or does any one have stock theme am running the perfect storm
I installed it using root explorer. I set ADW as the default launcher first, then replaced rosie.apk in system/app with the stock rosie.apk. Then made sure permissions were set to rw-r--r--. Then restarted.
Does anyone have a stock flashable market??? Version 2.3.4
Extract it from another rom. Use winrar or 7zip and extract it from system/app.

You could probably do the same with root explorer if you have a ROM zip with a stock market on your SD card.

Hey guys,
After modding the hell out of my fascinate, I kinda miss the stock music player app, with its ability to be controlled on the lockscreen and via notification bar. Could anyone provide the zip or apk file for this app?
Thanks.

Maybe download a rom or something, and extract just that apk. It is probably in SC.

Down load the deodexed ED01 rom that Adrynalyne posted in dev.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044406
Then extract the music player from the system/apps folder.
Then move it to the system/app folder on your phone using adb or root explorer.
Thanks!

I pushed the stock music apk to system apps with root explorer and it works after reboot, but had to move the other music apk out of system apps to sdcard first.

Has any one tried using this app with their Inc S? How did it go?
I've installed it, loaded 3 roms (2 install from zip and 1 nandroid backup) and can't get any to boot. They all get stuck at the Splash screen.
I'm unlocked, S off, using Blackrose and have never had an issue installing those roms before.

I had it, but just for two rom. Do you selected install boot.IMG with?

I just followed the on screen prompts. Install zip, so I then select the zip I wanted. And when I try to boot to that rom it does nothing.

A reason could be the blackrose hboot with the lip partition..

Do you know of any way to get it to work?

For me it looks like ics is too unstable for that, it doesn't run on my device flawlessly. You could go back to a non Blackrose HBoot, flash a Rom who don't need blackrose and try it again
