first of all like always i am sorry for my terrible english
well to be honest the scrolling on MIUI really sucks
for example when you got a long list of items (yes we know this is caused by lazy app devs) and you fling very fast down it is really laggy
when you are making an app you can disable the scrolling cache to avoid this
when you disable it the garbage collector don't have to do so many things at once
so why not disable it for the whole system and all its apps?
also when you change the volume of your phone for example when you are playing a song you will notice that sometimes there is a real big gap between the volume steps
this smali hack will add twice as many steps from 0% to 100% like you can see on the screenshots below

well extended settings is the app you use to modify MIUI how you like it like custom carrier customs colors custom statusbar it it is made by andy thompson it is a tweak you need to install yourself you can get it on miuiandroid.com can't get you a link seems like there forum is down
but andy got 2 versions
one with overscroll effect (the glow you see when you are at the end of a list and scrolling down)
and one without this on is calles No OversScroll (NOS)
when you don't installed this mod or installed the NOS version it is fine to install this

it's the tweak i was waiting for.. i don't know if you remember, but i asked for this in the tweaks sections saying that miui has a bad scrolling lag.. like for example in the theme app / edit theme.. scroll lags as hell there.. i will be waiting for miuiv4 before i go back to miui, but cheers to you mate! we are indeed very lucky to have you in this dev thread..! ps: can you do something with the stock scroll speed too? it lags sometimes too
It get stuck in logo, even when I flash your tweaks afterwards. I have to flash the rom again (miuiandroid 1.12.30, I know it's not the right version, but is the only one I had in the sd)
It works fine with me. Im using stock miui 1.12.23 with owain's mod and ironkernel. No bootloop or whatsoever.

A improved battery life can be seen after the second charge ... so be patient

Stop asking this each time you see a new ROM... All ROMs are based on same leaked 20E or 20I, no no reason to have more langages in one compared to another.
Just wait a new version, people are talking about 20J todayy or better official GB update.

what version of ROM did you had before flash mine?... i think that you had a Ext4 version.... and if you would read carrefully you should know that you can´t flash a Ext 3 over a Ext 4. sorry about that but u may did something wrong durrin the flash process

Thanks to Owain94 for the thread layout.
I am still waiting for approval from t3hh4xx0r to be part of their team, I have tried contacting them in multiple ways. Once I am in, you are able to download nightlies and stables and themes and kernels from the rom itself. A current workaround is to change all occurences in build.prop from p990 to p999 and rebooting. Be sure to not download any rom or kernel though! They are for the american g2x.

This rom has different mods. It will soon include upgrades from the rom itself. Things it has as a bonus are things like a music widget, hiding icons from the status bar, a miui-style battery bar, moving statusbar widgets to the bottom, a custom launcher, a custom carrier name and other interesting stuff. Why don't you give it a try?

It is not, unless you call every non-aosp rom CyanogenMod..
Differences are that OMGB is very close to AOSP, where OMFGB has more mods. Some from cm and some completely new.

INTRODUCTION
Hey there!!Here I com with a new rom. In my opinion I got the key!! People spend their lifes arguing about what is better: GB..ICS..JB... Okay, Gb is quite smooth and stable. With ICS people has rised battery horizons, Jelly Bean, appart from Project Butter is famous for his clean, minimalist and smart interface. AOKP, CM... and other ROMS are known for their high customization, so... what to choose?
After thinking in a lot of things I have created a ROM where u cand find all that features. It is CM7.2 based, so it is gingerbread ande is highly customizable. It has a smoothness I had never seen in any GB/ICS ROM. Battery drain is quite quite good. I have stabilized it because people normally left this ROM because of the consumption. I have added ICS/JB appearance, since it is amazing. I have been thinking every aspect of the ROM: tweaks, apps, compatibility problems... and the result is amazing...

Camera bug - yah, camera is not working perfectly. There are some very good apps to make it work. Since I make pics with Cymera, I don't mind about it... but yes, it is a cm7 bug and Is not perfect.

Kernel is STOCK, since we got a locked bootloader and currently no way of changing it.
NOT compatible with new v20a phones, so if you installed v20a and CWM, it will NOT work

Although this is not as good as the CustoNexus rom, it can be a daily for those that can live without bluetooth.

- Patch attached to this post, to enable vibration, but it is buggy, it will vibrate just a little too much and go vibrator on you (require reboot).

- start lgcamera (you will get black screen) OK - normal.
- click shot button (you will hear shater sound - but picture wouldn't be taken)
- pres back button on phone
- start camera apk from custonexus - and thats it! worked every time for me.
and works up till next reboot.
it has come to my attention, that mobile data do NOT enable, if you got a pincode on your simcard. so disable this in your stock LG rom, do NOT do it in this rom, it will fail and cause your simcard to enter PUK state and you need the PUK code to get opened again.
battery: do note, WIFI is default - always enabled - and inactivity timeout is 15minutes, you can set it to always and 5 minutes, and deep sleep is faster optained.
Factory reset / WIPE before you install if you come from STOCK LG rom, as this ROM will only install and clear system partition automatically. you are responsible for factory reset coming from another type of rom.
Alternatively - use original recovery where you factory reset as well. (VOL- + powerOn, remove usb cable, or you get to wrong menu) ..
Install the release using latest ClockWorkMod , using "install zip from external sdcard". this is a regular "update.zip" type of install.
if you get error 7 during install, go check in "mount and storage" that /system is not mounted before you install.

personally im not a MiUI fan , but i do think its the user interface and the difference here, which pretty much is the major here.
i am not familiar with MiUI, so thats pretty much what i can say. I always enjoyed HTC Sense most, but now im aosp

great work, I think maybe if the HTC ONE X has a Cyanogenmod 10.1 maybe you can convert it too that will be great to have android 4.2!

its not laggy or buggy, its just not final for our device. that should be more accurate spoken.

How to install:
-You Need unlocked bootloader and CMW or variant on your device.
-first install a V20x KDZ variant.
-install SuperUser and CMW using a AIO tool
-reboot to recovery
-Factory reset
-wipe /data /cache and dalvik cache
-go to your SD card, find the .ZIP of the ROM, and flash it!...
-After that fix permissions...
-Let te ROM sit for 10 mins, put your Google acount in, reboot, after reboot start intalling al your apps, when you done reboot and fix permissions... and you're ready to go..
PD: most of this methods are not needed at all, you can flash this rom with your normal method, this is only the method that i use normally to flash any rom!

PD: I deleteded Google music and DSP Manager, even with the stock Music APP the sound is a lot more louder and richer than the stock based rom, i must say it sound almost like my 5th gen ipod classic without external DAC....
Also, it doesn't have Google now, just delete the stock Google search app, and download Google search from play...
this rom is based on V20C with stock kernel, also custom stock based kernels will work, i have tested, PH85, Iodaks and EternityProject and all work great so far...
I will try to upload the ROM with some changes this week... Without the Chinese apps, and some other funcionalities...
If you have battery drain and don't use Gtalk, donwload "DisableService" and stop it from the app, also there is some other service that you can use, also use "greenify" and "Root Uninstaller" to uninstall some system Apps, and re-install them like User Apps to make "greenify" work on that apps...

Glad that you made this thread, it's a great rom, have been using it for a week now.
Was myself planning to make this thread but you beat me to it.
Apart from all the features mentioned in the OP there are other features too such as using the volume keys to wake the device, I have stopped using my power key to lock the device since I installed this Rom.
The original thread also has mods for improved gaming and transparent status bar but I was not able to download them even after registering on their website. Maybe some one from here can try it.
All in all a great rom and perfectly stable. I am keeping an eye on the original thread for the upcoming updates to this already awesome rom.

battery in this rom is almost the same as stock on my device, 14 hours total with 3 hours of screen... Maybe it can reach 4 and a half hours of constant use, i'm using Iodaks kernel on it...

There's a problem with contacts not showing in messaging and call logs, just the phone number. Had this issue before and thought a data wipe would fix. On this ROM sadly not I can "add" the existing number via the log/message and it will show, anyone got a more permanent solution?

Successfully flashed this rom....I dont know why its not as fast as stock...Maybe because it still got the bloatwares...
Theme is nice, lockscreen effect is nice...Qslide is working....EcoMode also working....Battery seems quite good
