Anyone tried both enough to Compare?
Thanks
using darky since day 1...
tryed every rom till darky...
rocket is very good
buy
darky is the smoothest fastest rom out there...
I think it's just a matter of what theme you like more.. The colurful rocket theme or the black-green darky theme.
But depending on smoothness or batterylife this a head to head race..
So.. i think it's just a matter of taste
Edit: have to say to this that i tested both roms pretty well
Suprised that no one has mentioned sheep rom
This is a very interesting topic i would like to see some opinions too.

galnet miui or cm7 and why?
me also wishing to have answer for that
If you like stock Android, choose CM7 and if you like iOS, you should choose MIUI. I prefer CM7.

Which is faster and better not about the looks
Both are pretty fast.
but which is faster?
You can't compare it like this. MIUI is based on CM7. Just try both and them you can decide which ROM to take. I had MIUI for one day but then I switched back to CM7 cause I don't like iOS-looking. And CM7 is very close to stock Android and I just love it.

Why don't you try both and report back here? Give some good feed back
I've only tried miui myself, but I'm pretty happy with it so far.
I tried but i cant find any differences
Try both of them few days and pick the one you like. I prefer cm7.

If you can't find any differences on speed then it's up to you whether you want the stock android or iOS style.
its a matter of choice.. i would recomend trying both n deciding for yourself..
i personally recomend galnet miui.. using it over a few months...
i tried them both and i definitely goes with galenet miui
it's easy... miui is an improvement of cm7. and when you have a great support
by the dvelopment himself, and this is a man that can release a new verision
every 5h because little something was wrong, there is no doubt.
But I have to say that the support with CM7 isn't bad, it's quite good. atinm helps you in the CM7 Q&A-thread to solve your problems.

guys I have not been following the mobile scene for nearly four months now. Just want to find out if there are stable releases of ICS for i9000? Not interested in Alpha, Beta builds.
Thanks.
Team ICSSGS
try this one - runs flawless!!!
Doc's Master ICS V5
Milestone 4 of aokp is in my opinion the most stable ICS build.
Great... three replys, three different recommendations.
To be honest none of the ICS roms are perfectly stable yet. They are not like the GB roms stability wise.. Ill give it another 2-4 month before they fix most of the buggs.

Almost three weeks with ICSSGS and Semaphore and I've had exactly one random reboot. It's not perfect but it's pretty close. I also OC a bit so that could be to blame.
Definitely Dark Knight 3. Ive had no issues whatsoever, its the latest 4.0.4, and has awesome battery life

Get lost you're original post was pathetic this one is even more so absurd. You walk in here asking a question without even doing any research. And expect to be spoon fed.
Cut the attitude and sarcasm before anything else. State of mind some peeps on here are in....jeez...

dark knight v3
a good and stable rom is dark knight v3
- some little bugs but works good
and good life batery and speed
thanks guys for your replies. It seems to me that ICS for i9000 is still at premature age. I will come back in four months time to see if I should flash ICS onto my i9000.
in the meantime, those already have ICS on their i9000 have fun.
peace out.

I suppose all 3 roms satisfy the requirement of 'stable'?
He said not interesting in Alpha and beta build, but all the ICS rom out there on XDA are alpha and beta build. If you want a stable ICS, request Samsung build for you one. ) just kidding

Yes, it's ok. But all ICS roms have issues with Gameloft and Automatic time zone update. Any one does have solution to fix these?
noone tried cm9*?
Aokp Milestone 4
SGS RC4.2 seems good
installed SGS RC4.2 with semphore 0.9.5 kernal .. seems good..but no t9 dialer thats def a setback for me..
So I'm on stock ICS rooted. I was watching from a long time ago the progress of DjangoManouche and I think that is pretty god as people say on the forum, but then appeared Optithrust that look verry amazing too (the play edition). Should I try them or not? I dont want to change 10 roms per day. I'm interested in these 2
Why don't you try them both? I think they are very similar,so whichever you choose you will be satisfied.
There is also flexicer ics rom, which is also very good and stable ROM.

thkanks for the answer I'm on Optithrust I like it so far
DjangoManouche X 1.3 is very goog, coming soon 1.4.

I am using AllianceROM from my signature. It is very smooth and snappy. It's TW based JB and it's nicely themed with OTAs and a lots of customizations. You can install with or without Samsung and Google apps. Just follow instructions.
I'm using Super Nexus 2.0
Pros:
Smooth and fast
No Bloatware
Great battery life
Cons:
None really. (some may say it is to much of a minimal ROM) but I actually like that
My favs
It's been about 15 months since i'm having my beloved Note, and i guess i flashed like 30 different ROM's on it, from GB's to JB's, CM, MIUI, literally everything. Let me mention my 2 favourites, The first one was this: [ROM][4.1.2][10/14] Cookies & Cream 1.3.0. Very highly customizable, smooth, and amazing battery life. The reason i stopped using it, cuz it has some flaws, i cannot save my contacts to the SIM card, or anywhere else, just to my Google, which i don't want. The other one problem was, there's no option to store the photos on your external SD card, only to the internal. Apart from this, a very good ROM. The next i'd like 2 mention is, my all-time fav, Chrack' s XXLRQ v16 Final. I'm using it for a while now, this is the most perfect ROM i ever used on my Note. Everything works perfectly, no FC's, lagging, smooth as melted butter, and it has probably the best battery life i ever experienced. Simply perfect ROM. I cannot recommend anything else more than this.
CM 10.1. Pure; like it should be.

I liked ultimate rom
In non tw ROM, paranoid android is my favorite....
Currently on alliance ROM... just loving it...
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
CM 10.1 is the fastest but also the softest
Paranoid Android is the coolest but buggy
All the TW ROMS including stock are dealable and for a major manufacturer to make a ROM that u can actually use WO having to be an I-Drone then i think every veteran would say that's impressive!
but also that, basic functionality doesn't mean that a C student getting a C+ is someone i want to hire or give a medal...u don't get praise for making something that works, after a million failed attempts, especially when u are a zillion dollar company
All the TW ROMs are pedestrian and I never understood why people can't live wo S-Planner? You use a TW ROM BC u have a separate tablet, and u cant live wo SPen...omg are u kidding? hahahahaha
Start flashing virgins, there's no reason we cant direct mobile computing....u can lay down and accept whats given, which is for them, or u can demand the best and push the envelope
Really we just want the hardware...
Thanks Samsung for making a device that I-Drones might look at BC its big but no thanks on trying to make more Samsung drones.... Its not good for humanity, technological advancement or me personally
BTW i use Paranoid Android (Jelly Beer)

i agree w/ him. Dmod's really fast and stable, everything is functional.
DMod V5 Rocks!
+1 for DMod V5 Rom for S3 Mini... So smooth, fast and stable...
In what way is it better than enox? Which I am currently using.. I like the stability, the battery consumption etc. I don't use software that demands high cpu or gpu.
i use dmod v5 .very smooth, low battery consumption and super stable. i'll go with it,even i didn't ever had enox's rom ,so my opinion isn't based on any kind of comparison...
I tried them all, including cm and went back to stock. Tweaked, rooted and moded like I want
