[WIDGET] Traffic - LG Revolution

I take no credit for this. Obviously I did not make this or anything. I only take credit for posting it here which means nothing lol. Anyway, here's a little widget that not many people knew existed. Even though it's existed for an extremely long time.

For these widgets, long press on the homescreen and go to widgets>maps>traffic
Enter the name for the widget (home, work ect.) then enter an address.
Some features for the widget:
Auto-snooze after 30 minutes.
Real time traffic updates (light will switch from green, yellow, or red)
Minutes till arrival at destination
Here's the post at Reddit:

There are a few people that report it drains battery and that the arrival time is off by about 15 minutes. I used it today for a 60 mile drive then a 60 mile drive back and it was only about 2 minutes off and barely used any battery because it auto-snoozes after about 30 minutes. Then all you have to do is press on it to wake it up.

The site says that there will be an included battery door. I'm gonna assume it's not gonna be size friendly.

I smell a rip-off - not quite sure where yet, but something doesn't stack-up. You've got to ask yourself why would a company use this method to test a product like this. The only benefit I can see is that they will have a nice list of potential customers for relatively little effort.
Just make sure you don't part with any cash or payment details up-front.

Do you sleep with the light on?

Or anything else on?
I sleep with the TV set to auto sleep in 30 minutes!

I sleep with the light on every chance I get. I love falling asleep while watching documentaries, especially about space.
tv makes me fall asleep way better
Nope, but i can easily sleep in bright light.

I have to have the LEDs on in my PC to illuminate the night. And because they're color changing ones, I HAVE to change the color every night for some reason. I have it to where I can turn them on even with the PC not running. I'm a lighting nerd.
Sent from my coffee pot.
I sleep with the tv cause I like the noise, but the light from it cause I'm scared of the dark.
If I'm listening to music, I'll have some soft light on.
I am going to have to go check the "how old are you" thread for posts from you guys. Lol
I can sleep with or without lights. I do have a bunch of LEDs glowing from all the **** in my room, but that's cuz I'm too lazy to pull the power from them and they help me get to the kitchen to grab something to eat in the middle of the night.
When going off to bed why to switch off lights when i have to on it again next evening
No wastage of energy
much easier with the tv on. anything with sound. sometimes ill leave my gnex on with the radio.
If I'm alone I leave a light or the TV on.

Must have sleeping environment Pitch Black.
If I can't sleep I put headphones in and listen to music. Helps distract the mind and allows me to get sleepy.

Nope, all electronic stuff off!

THIS is how to unbox the Nexus 7

Okay, obviously the above video is a joke, but this one below is my REAL unboxing video. Enjoy!
I had a co-worker that had a CNET page up showing how ridiculously difficult it was to unbox it... Got mine 2 days after seeing the video... took me about a minute, maybe 2 to get through everything including the UPS box, and have the device on.
Dude, power tools.

I was about to go get my chainsaw, but I saw the look in my wife's eyes when I got the sword out and figured I may have already gone too far.
I saw that youtube video the other day of people having difficulty unboxing, but wasn't in my case this afternoon. The top black half of the box slid off easily due to the weight of the box's contents pulling down on it.
Those in the video must have been trying to unbox an empty box?
That video just made me laugh my ass off. Great video!

In truth, this wasn't too bad to open at all. I just like to poke fun at all of the fuss over opening the box.
It literally took me all but 1 minute to unbox my N7,I don't know how other people were having so much trouble.
funny video! XD

Slow and sloppy, and afterwards, the box is literally destroyed.

Poor WiFi Performance?

Anyone else having any WiFi issues? I work on an upper floor of a nice, thick goverment hospital. The WiFi has normally been OK for me with my last two phones (S2 & S3), but today is my first day at work with the GN3 and all I get is "Network disabled because internet connection is slow". Yeah, it's always been kinda slow, but my other phones and my tablets hook up anyway. This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that the thick building blocks a lot of the 4G signal; I've got to be in a room with a window (AKA "Patients Room) for a decent signal. So I've got this badass new phone that can't connect to the internet a lot of the time.
Anyone have any suggestions? I can't find anything under the advanced options to convince it to connect. I'm sure a nice custom ROM would probably help, but we all know where we are with that at the moment.

Make sure that's not checked in the advanced wifi settings
For me, it seems to be on par with other devices (ie HTC One, LG Optimus G Pro, GS4).

Light and Screen Rotation

Hello all!
I am coming from a Note 2. Loved that phone, I had an opportunity to upgrade for FREE from my carrier so I did.
Anyways, as you all know, that after having a phone for a few days, months, or years...you've pretty much got it to where you want it.
SO, that brings me here to question you all...
But I am looking for instruction on how to make the light(on the back of the phone) light up when a call/message/email comes in?
I've looked and looked with no luck.
Then the other thing is I have Rotation Locker as one of my apps...but once I flip it on the side and go to my home screen, I cannot touch an icon to go to it...and I mean the simplest of icons...lets say texts, doesn't work.
Is there a better app available that you suggest?
For the flash,
Settings>accessibility >hearing>flash notification.
I never had any luck with home screen rotation apps but nova launcher does it well.
