Hey mate, you are in the wrong section. Go to here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1204 and have a look. There are a number of threads about ICS there that should be able to help.

There are instructions, faq and etc all over the forum. A simple search and careful reading is all thats needed (even if you are a 'nob'). If you cant do that, its just better not to root or flash anything on your phone since you may just end up ruining your phone.

If you are thinking about an official rom don't worry it will be all over internet.
But if you want now you can have a look on the Development section.
Yesterday if I'm not wrong they change the date for release official release for the Q2 2012.

Another thing you can do is follow the Swedish android community Swedroid. They will for sure write when ICS comes for the Note.

Hi everyone!
Been reading through the Galaxy Note forums most of the weekend and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I haven't had a chance to update my signature yet but as you can see I just replaced my Sensation and Flyer with one device... the Note! I was quite familiar with flashing mods, firmwares and roms on those devices but I am a little at sea with my new device.
I am wondering if anybody has some recommendations for a good stock like rom that works with my Galaxy Note i717r. I enjoy having as close to stock as possible to start but have better battery and performance. It seems most development is on the N7000.
Any advice to point me in the right direction is appreciated!
I found the threads for how to root my device but I haven't rooted it until I find a good rom to flash afterwards.
Sorry for being such a noob on these threads.. but I learn quickly!

This device specific subforum is for the Galaxy S II I9100G. This is NOT the international model. This is for the OMAP variation of the device.
Flashing files here on your regular I9100 will likely result in a brick, and vice versa. As always, everything here is at your own risk, but be particularly careful about flashing files suitable for your device.

pulser_g2 can you please re-adjust teh sort order of sub-forums as now the intentional version is at bottom underneath apps when it should be directly underneath the Original dev and above the I9110G forum.

Hey guys, good news, Samsung finally is releasing ics for galaxy Tab series, now just 7.7 is ready for download, probably other tablet will be upgraded in next days.. No ota update, we need to use Odin/Kies... This is the link to p6800 firmware, just take a look waiting our release
