is it possible for a synaptic digitizer to emulate a full dual touch? just askin.. its very hard to play tap tap and other games without dual touch..

what colour is your x8. mine is black but i did some research on cypress and it turns out that 9/10 black x8's will have cypress and 2/10 white x8's will have cypress meaning if you have a white x8 your bound to have synaptics but if you have a black x8, congrats, you will have cypress (the most accurate digitizer of all best dual touch there is!!!!!i have cypress and i have activated it its awesome!)synaptics isnt so accurate, (it pretty crap if you ask me just by looking at videos of synaptics dual touch lol)so goods luck checking!!!

@brapicoco(sorry for having to put your name on it it is the only way to grab attention lol)not as far as i am concerned, synaptics isnt the best dual touch for x8 there is because you have to place your fingers in special place to make it work as where cypress (which luckily i have ) you can put your fingers anywhere and it is easy to activate.

I edited build.prop and renamed from Cynogenmod to Se but nothing changed...

There's another build.prop in the bin folder. Change that too.

I understand the X8 bit but the ANDROID bit, well ....I can't speak no longer.
Don't let crApple get to you! It may be the hype now, but Android is far superior now and always shall be.
If you get a phone, try WP7 or Symbian. Don't get IOS or BlackSh!tty.

Maybe its because of the Roms i use...No i wont go to crApple..im sticking with Android and will buy a hdpi device this new year...(For the Miui)

dx now has a young baby. that is why updates have been slow but he is still developing for x8. he is going to back port ics to gdx and he is working on cm9 just wait and give dx some respect as it say in many posts dx develops and shares his own work. he dont work for sony ericsson or get payed for what he does so if you want to say anything try THANKS !!!

Hello Everyone,
I want to ask you if i'll get a Gio and my x8 will be sold, can i ask here if i have any problem with it? (X8 Community is Cool and so Busy with helpful people) (Gio Community is not so busy, with a small number of people)

dont dream sony abandons their devices i think it's not possible for them to update x8 which is like 2 years old already

No they aren't. Xperia Play isn't getting ICS. They say it's because of the games compatibility, but I don't think that it is so big problem. Games can be updated...

No its because they believed that the requirements were too great for a gaming phone. They thought there would be performance issues running ICS and playing PlayStation games.
