With Photoshop or like program, creating your custom dock like folders or anything you want can be achieved without using third party apps. Remember that it will be 480pxl wide.

Start your Photo Editing program. I use Photoshop CS4 Extended. Using the rounded rectangle tool (for folder dock) create and duplicate layers. With layers > arrange > send to back. Save it and name it anything you want. Trial and error for the icon alignments.
Or just a flat image/design, just create texts for your apps, even icon image. You can also set the transparency.
Now create a transparent icon by clicking "New" set it to let's say 90X90, with "transparent" in background contents.
With some launchers that can modify the dock, just select/browse the one you created. Then, by replacing the icon, select/browse the "transparent icon" you made.
With ADW Launcher (Stock CM), you must "Hide AB Bg" and uncheck "Wallpaper Scrolling". The dock will be pasted with the wallpaper of your choice (960X800, bottom-centered).
I made a zip and a PSD included to get you started. It has the folder dock (ready to use), the template, the PSD, invisible icon.
wow cool ! i like it minimal!
This is what i'm looking for
Thanks

I've put together some icons for everyone that like the classic start icons but want to refresh their menu. These are made from a little carbon and default windows mobile icons. I've also used base from Lechux's Firestorm icon set (hope he won't be mad) which you can find HERE. Icons are all 128x128 pix, and there are 85 of them total, with folders.
Here are the icons:

This is how they look on the device:

*Note, that cab installs into \Windows, and doesn't include folder icons. Also if your icons are named other way than Start_Icon_xxx.png then you'll have to rename the icons to display properly.
Thanks to:
-Lechux, for his wonderful Firestorm Iconset
-Ryrzy, for his roms
-Kefu, for getting some icons from I8000 rom dump
-guys @ modaco.pl for support
Disclaimer:
I did this icons for fun so if you want to use them anywhere, feel free to do that, just let me know where do you use them so I can check the result Also, You are free to modify them, just remember that I did them in the first place (besides Lechux work and M$) (put a note about me somewhere)

I made myself an icon pack to use with desktop visuliser
I just thought I would share it with you all
if I think of more to add I will do
there are lots icons to chose from
all you need to do is save them to a folder on your sd card
and point desktop visuliser to those icons
they are 110 x 122 size
I haven't included any bigger ones, because these are for my own personal use so i didnt bother with various sizes
thanks to Taine0 for the idea
and whoever made the various icons I downloaded from google images
anyway
here they are
I hope you enjoy them
p.s yes I have a thing for skulls which is why I kept the skull image on all files in the background
all files zipped HERE
you can also find these images on my dropbox gallery here
requests are welcome, but may take a little time
any suggestions / tips, feel free as long as its constructive
These look awesome. Thanks!
Oh, does this include the skull icon that is in your profile pic? That is a sweet icon

yeah, I left the skull on them all, the foreground image is 95% transparent, so you can still see a little bit of the skull in there
the zip vanished, so i have re-uploaded it, and stored it on dropbox as well just in case
hi guys,
i would like to ask if anyone knows the way to change the twGTGLauncher icon for the 'apps'. i'm able to change any icons, only the 'apps ' icon couldn't .
please guide,
regards
download an app called 'desktop visualizer' its free in the market. then look in the apps and themes section for an icon pack... there are loads to choose from depending on your theme. then when you have that you can customise your icons to your liking. or even make your own if you know how to.
bro, still unable to change the 'apps' particular icon.
oh i see what you mean, the actual app drawer button...... im had the same issue. i dont think its possible on the TWLauncher. i can modify it on the launcher pro thats a good launcher IMO
it is possible see this picture...
you need to get the de-odexed twlauncher from another thread here and be rooted and replace the .png using 7zip and replace file in /system/app

Oh wicked.... that looks well cool do you think it will work with Launcher Pro ??
Hey guys a quick tutorial on how to create "hubs" using two launchers. This was not my idea and credit goes to user "Duhhh"
Here's a visual explanation:
My current homescreen (launcher 7)
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Clicking on the Music tile would bring me to my "Music Hub":
This can also be used to create a "games hub"
"Duhh"
there is nothing special,i use photoshop to make background of games,then in luncher pro set this wallpaper using "multipicture live wallpaper" and add widgets "Desktop Visualizer '' with transperant icons and shortcuts to games.In luncher 7 add widget "Desktop Visualizer '' with icon of Xbox and select action > Other > Activities > LauncherPro
that's all
my en is not so good hope to understand me
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
So there you have it. The hubs can work on any mix of launchers and not isolated to 7launcher alone. I provided three "Music Hubs" (courtesy of amucinom) to get you started
Please feel free to share yours
Is there a way to change the adaptive icon shape in One UI 3.1?
Maybe some ADB commands or something like that?
I don't like that rounded square icons and would prefer round icons instead.
Yes you can use a custom launcher with an icon pack but that only changes the icons in the launcher obviously not for multitasking, ....
Its a small an minor thing but i find it kind a annoying because its a android feature and you could change it the developer options for the Galaxy S20 but not even more ind One Ui 3.1
Yes you can use some icon packs to transform the system app icons to for example round icons. I test the "WinterSkyUx" Icon pack from galaxy themes. It changes camera, telephone, messages apps to round icons but for any not supported icons (Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, ...) it just draws a white circle around the "rounded square" icon witch looks even more ugly:

}
I did find ADB commands to do this. Just do
Code:
cmd enable/disable overlay {overlay name}
For the full list of overlays check here. https://pastebin.com/cNUZnfvh
Hi dolfies, can you explain how to do that? I'm trying the adb command without any result.
Can you please give a tutorial for dummies?
