You need to search this forum for the solution as it has been posted several times.

Glad it worked for you. The index is in the development forum, might be handy though if there was another copy in this forum as it seems to be the place to go for help

Finished rooting, now i need some help!

Hello
So I have successfully rooted my phone! And it was so easy.
Thank you every one that have posted guides and made it so easy.
And thank you Cyanogen for your perfect Room!!
But I have some questions:
1. Can anyone list the best rooted apps, and dose it exist an list of all rooted apps?
2. is there any way to remove programs from the program menu(start menu)?
and where is the list of the programs on the program menu listed?
3. Is there any way to implement proxy settings in wifi settings?
In advance
Thanks for all help!!
not development.....As far as apps, search for what you need.....
I've seen posts regarding every single question you wrote. Search a little bit before posting and try to post in the correct section.

hey man, thanks for your response.........
i did my research of course and had a little idea now on how to do the rooting, but just wanted to see if there are different instructions on rooting a device.
since the OP said he have just rooted it, might as well ask him to point me to the right direction.
i believed, i have also said that i will appreciate that info.
coming from a totally different device, i hope you understand why am i asking? since a thread has been opened already.

Please any help??
In advance Thanks
look around the development thread, and use google. from those, i was able to unlock, root, and install enom's ROM w/o too much trouble. using the 'spare parts' app in enom's ROM, you can uninstall things you couldn't before, like amazon.mp3, for which i have no use.
i don't know about proxy wifi settings, never had to mess with it. that seems like a browser condition, not a ROM condition tho. could fix thru router tho, if you're at home. MAC address proxy assignment would be your best bet, i would think.
only rooted apps i use are adfree, andexplorer, and metamorph, i think.
but, i am able to push whatever i want

Rooting and S-off???

Hey guys,my friend has got a Incredible S and its in Android 2.3.3. Its from Singapore and I'm trying to help him get S-off and root on it! Can someone point me in the right direction? The steps as easy as possible I'm still new to htc devices!
There is already a comprehensive guide for doing just this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1137008
There are other tutorials too if you take the time to search around a bit. In future if you could please look around for what you need before starting a new thread that would be great, as lots of other people have already asked this question

Second, you need to pick a rom to flash. There are several on the forums or you can also go here:

Update bootloader after CROMiX

All I am brand new to the Android world and recently bought my TF701 from a friend who was getting a Sansung. He pointed me here and I really got interested in the CROMiX ROM.. I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of posts and thought I was good to go. I was not, and long story short CROMiX was installed while the bootloader was still at 10.26.1.7.
I have tried searching but maybe I am not using the right terminology in my search. I figured it is best to ask first before I do more harm than good. How can I get my bootloader to 10.26.1.18 so I can get CROMiX to run without constantly reboot my tab? I am sure it has already been asked but I have not found a solution. Thanks in advance...
