How did you get this to work? I have been trying to get AOSP ICS Mms app working on my Skyrocket, but I keep getting an error about a column not existing in the database.

Is there anyway to get the AOSP Dialer and contacts on the fascinate, I searched but could not find one... Could I just simply install the apk's from a aosp rom?
Trust me, the touchwiz dialer and contacts are better than the aosp.

They are if you don't have your screen density set to something other than default, even with compatibility mode off, 25% of the screen is left blank on the dialer screen
I know its better but aosp is easier to port themes to and theme. So does anyone know where to get it working for the fascinate?
did you ever find one? I too am looking for an AOSP dialer , but not luck yet.
toch wiz dialers and contacts are great can someone port it to cm7

I am bringing you one of my most complete themes. I have created over 400 images for this and have modified/themed over 1000 images. I have themed nearly every stock app and a few market apps to go along with the theme. Many xml files have been edited to change how font colors are being called. Awesome job on the theme.. Lookim forward 2 some more nitrocomb but this is great.... Flashed theme n all was fine then booted back 2 recovery for the themed apps n it sent me im a boot loop tho n only some apps ended up themed after I reflashed the theme 4 the cure.. Should I try 2 reflash the apps again?

I can't update lopsided either. Market is showing an update, and my pop is saying I only have 0.8.4 but wont install the newer one because of a "signing" problem? Oh and why can't I uninstall the score app or twitter? I don't want or use either but they wont allow me to uninstall

I'm using Darky Rom 10.2 atm and it's just perfect except for one thing. I don't like the samsung style sms app with the text bubbles.
Is it possible to replace that app with the stock android sms app like the one in cyanogenmod 7?
I tried replacing the mms.apk in system\app with the one from CM7 and it works but when I open the settings it force closes. Also the messaging icon isn't in the dock anymore when i replace the mms.apk and I would like to still have that.
Handcent would be an option if the messaging icon in the dock could launch that app. Right now it only launches the default app and ignores all the others.

You could try Go SMS. In my opinion it's the best SMS-app.

Oh thanks that's such an awesome app. Any idea on how I can edit the TWlauncher dock shortcut to launch gosms instead of the samsung styled app?
Edit: figured out how to edit the dock.
One final question, is it possible to edit the icon of certain apps and possibly even the name?

This is the pure CM9 version from other thread on irtehun v2. All I did was add denverg's inverted mms with auto split. Its totally complete! Also looks great. As you see in previous post, on Codename clock, dialer and people icons not themed. Edit..if you need tested on any NS4G builds let me know and I would be happy to help!

This theme it's made to work on every HDPI AOSP device, that's why.
And even if there's some problem, it's really easy to fix it.
I'll probably search for mantainers or something.
I really like the look of this.

I mean something like on sgs2/3 stock rom (i don't remember if ace's stock had such a feature).

Search play store for an app called "widget locker". It is a lockscreen replacement that allows you to design your own lockscreen, adding widgets, sliders etc. then just add one of the widgets suggested above.

Isnt the "GO" series generally known for high usage of cpu?
I have only tried GO locker when it was on beta, but not as a daily lockscreen...
Well, it doesn't no difference to my phone...performance and battery life still the same...

Buddy dont use any type of launcher except holo launcher as it saves battery next thing if u want widget for messages go to playstore hit widgets and messeging widget on lockscreen....... Or any lockscreen widget.........well enjoy buddy!!!!!!!!!
Instead of using such widgets i solved my problems with SMS pop-up app (as i wrote before). Very easy and more fast even than widgets!

Sometime, many lockscreen is not support add widget. You can download and install "Widget lockscree" from Playstore.
