Hello All,
Today when i opened LG App Advisor, it showed as "App Advisor,has
ended its service on Dec 31,2011".
Any idea on this?
I bought this phone recently,so i dont know use of LG App Advisor.
Yeap, the LG advisor app is officially terminated on 31st Dec 2011.
I never used it anyway, its not like the LG app gives away free paid apps. It just links you to what is 'beneficial' app there are in Android Market. You can just use Market app to get apps.

Each day in the Amazon Android Apps market they give away an APP that you would normally have to pay for.

Yeh I was using the free version and it rocked. Nice to have the full version now.
While I throroughly enjoy getting a free app every day, does anyone else have the same apprehensions I have when it comes to Amazon App Store?
I tend ot browse through it, then find an app I may be interested in, but ALWAYS feel like I shouldn't buy it becuase there's a chance it will be free soon.
It really is a nice perk to their store. Even at $1.00 each, after a year you've received $365 worth of apps, for nothing!!
i would suspect that the dev is still getting paid. i would believe amazon would foot the bill to pay the dev or something. but i'm just guessing
I know a dev who says that when they do this they pay the dev a percentage everytime someone downloads it. So yes, the devs are getting paid for this.

No, I can't remember exactly where I read it, but it is something like 20% of their minimum selling price that they define, or something like that. So, if the calendar was $5.00, Amazon would pay them $1.00 for each download when it was the free app of the day.
Maybe someone can post the exact info, but that's the general idea.
What I like about the Amazon App store is that you can download the app once and use the appstore to install it on more than one device. Plus it keeps them stored for you, so it is a type of free app backup too.

I am in Pakistan, google recently add Pakistan in the marketplace countries, buy my Incredible S market place app doesn't show me the paid apps. It only shows free apps.
I tried the web version but my phone is grayed out.
I am already on Gingerbread.

Ummm ... are they even in business anymore? What would a BlockBuster app do?
I understood they had switched to a RedBox kind of operation. Can't remember the last time I saw an actual BB store open.
Well, apparently Dish bought them and there is an app or three in the Market. (found in a two-second search)
However, I am fairly sure it will have the same issues as the Netflix app.

every time i try signing lg thrill movies app it gives me the error code "unable to sing in.
Invalid mspot secret key(code= 602)
This error comes because my phone is rooted. can any body tell me how fix this error?
(I know i can download mspot app on android market and it works fine but market app wont give me 3d movies so I need to fix the default movies app)
I have the same exact issue with that as you do.
Sane issue. Had the issue before I rooted.. I tried it right out of the box and it faulted. I have 3 weeks left to decide to keep this or not. May consider a trade out if something else comes out before my 30 day window goes away. Guess I'll just keep checking the site for new phones.

I have the same issue but my guess is that I am not using the phone on AT&T nor the US.
I use a carrier: Telcel
Country: Mexico.
If AT&T / US people have the same issue then the app is bad!
Ok, so this is old, but I think this happens when deleting the AT&T account apk. I believe the movie app accesses your account to charge you..
Just a quick heads up, Amazon has opened the App store for all.....finally.

It appears that it was accidental, it wasn't meant to be released worldwide yet - so amazon disabled non-US access again.
Hopefully we'll get it soon !
