[Q] Voodoo color and sound - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

HEy everyone, how is it going.....so i wanted to take your opinions on what are the best settings to use with voodoo color and sound?
Thanx

There is no such setting as 'best'. Everyone likes different settings. Experiment a little.

[REQUEST][THEME] for Stock/Modaco ROM

Hey Everybody
Due to the unacceptable in-call quality of CM7 and MIUI on my O2X, I am forced to use Stock or Modaco. (Yes I have tried all RIL+BB combos)
Unfortunately the Stock/Modaco style looks like someone drank a lot of curacao and vomited inside my phone.
My theme request is as follows. Can someone please find/replace all the curacao vomit color with perhaps some gingerbread green and make a stock or modaco compatible theme? Bonus would be if menu items where all white a'la CM7.
I have no idea what the extend of this request really is, but if you come through on this - I will be your facebook friend anytime, perhaps even myspace.
Thanks
/Mikkel
Just in case no one is available to help out. You can always try to do it yourself.

The way you wrote this I don't think many people will even read what you actually wrote.... at least I didn't even bother.
If you have something to say why not stick to the grammatical rules like only capitols on the first word of a sentence unless it's a name or something...
lol, i gave up reading after about the third word.
I assume this is a troll post, as thats a crazy amount effort to goto to make something unreadable.
There is something called full stops and New lines dude.
Did you try the white balance apk that was ported to XZ from xzl?

If you are comparing AMOLED to LCD, you will never get the same godawful, ugly, inaccurate colors as Samsung AMOLED. Also, the contrast won't be the same. Different screen technologies.

Still an issue
Hi all, just joined the forums and this is my first post.
Whilst the OP is written terribly, his point remains. This is an issue on the Z.
I almost want to take my V back from my girlfriend because of this!
Any update with regards to adjusting/adjustments made to the contrast and colour accuracy?
Thank you

Thank you for the quick reply! But now please excuse me inexperience.
Is it an official update, or do I need to download it?
Like I said, I'm new to the forums, which in my case is new to Android as well. I know of custom roms, firmware, kernels etc, but have no idea how to do it.

[Q] Get very very low brightness like clock app

Hi guys. Its many days I have this phone and started to follow this forum, but I didn't find nothing about it. Is possible to set the brightness low like the clock app does after touching it? It would be really nice and relaxing in the dark. Thanks to anyone who'll answer.

Use this to change your brightness curve.

you can try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.haxor .
Thanks guys! That app it's perfect..
This app works as a shade, it is good so your eyes don't hurt but I don't think there is any battery saving at all.

(Share) COLOR SETTINGS.. EX KERNEL/ Mono/Blue Spark!! OP3..

I don't know if someone has tried calibrating color using the wonderful app flar has made for us.. I am sharing 2-3 settings that make this display epic.. Try and share ur own if you have any..
Tested these on CM based ad well as oos based roms.. And also miui 8 as Ex kernel works solid with miui8..
Share your settings let's see where can we reach..
PS: These settings look good to my eyes.. You might have a different liking altogether..
These have changed using ex kernel manager.. In the graphics section.. Bottom most tab called advance color.
Update: These can be applied in Mono kernel and Blue Spark as well. Using Kernel Auditor and/Or Kcal tuner ..!!
Cheers..!

If you're fine with a separate app, the Color Control by savoca (the developer of KCAL / this kernel-level color control we're using) also works, download it here.

Yep, Mono supports KCAL settings much like ElementalX, there's no difference in the implementation of it, so all settings is guaranteed to be the same.

I got it but it doesn't work with auto brightness. You have to basically toggle. I just feel like the ex kernel made the screen slot dimmer

Hey guys, I am looking for some profile that would work with sRGB, I am on OOS 3.2.4 with EXkernel and the stock sRGB gets some yellow/red tint over the screen and the white doesn't look like white. Thanks in advance
