How to move game files to EXT SD and the game playable in EXT SD

as such..anyone know how to move the gameloft or any other game files to the ext sd? my interbal sd is running out of space

Provided you're running Froyo there is the option to move to SD card in Settings>Applications>Manage applications and selecting the individual application(s) that you're wanting to move to your external SD.

That only moves save games and such not actual data, no offense but people should try to do what they post first before giving the wrong information.

so did anyone actually moved their whole game data to EXT sd and playing?

Can this issue be fixed by symlinking the data folder to extenal_sd?

Can internal SD be swapped with ext sd

i saw in application section, i cant search for it know but u can find it.
there is script running on windows, patching the apk file. I tried and succeed with asphalt6 and brother in arms 2 (only gameloft games)

install gamesloft on the external sd ?

my 8 gig memory on galaxy s is full so ....
how can i install gameloft games on the external sd galaxy s ?

Not sure if you can, never tried it, why do'nt you just move some of the other stuff?

Nothing is in the sd,Except game loft folder...

How many games you got on it?!
I've got 4 gameloft games, maybe 10 other games and a load of apps, pics and documents and I still have just under 4GB free on my 8GB phone.

Mostly its impossible till now
But i have an idea, i need some developers to analyse it and to see whether it is possible.
1. Mount the "external sd" in the root folder.
2. Rename the external sd to "sd card".
The reason is the all the game loft games reads "sdcard\games\gameloft" for data.
Can this be done?

but If it was possible,it was Very good.
Because gameloft games Have become much and in future we have no spase for install it...

how bout to get it read direct to 'external sd'...it is posible???

External_sd it's already linked as a directory in the root of internal sd, so i guess it's feasible to link gameloft folder to external. How can it be accomplished?

Guys can u give me an apps that can move my games data to external SD card? i'm on topo's ICS build,my internal is my main card, i don't want to swap it to external as main,i only what to move my games data to SD card to save some space on my internal one.. anyone??

i am one of who need this apps! but i think this is not good for the game need the tatiumbackup because when you try to restore the titaniumbackup data on your games, maybe doesn't work, because the titaniumbackup can't identifying the real file location of your data games!

read my second post,work like a charm,even if you change your rom,u can directly open the directory of the folder u put ur data on ur last rom..

i'm using it too...GL to SD it's perfect for gaming so far..but still it can use the game without mounting it

What app are you using to move the files??
BTW you can use folder mount which is perfect for your purpose. I am using it and i have NFS most wanted plus Modern combat 4 data on my 16gb sd card .

Yes i did , you just need to download it manualy from internet put the cache files in sd card and install the apk file and use (gl to sd) app to play it from sd card directly because internal space is not enough for such game.... good luck
