Hi All,
I have lost a few cool points here for admitting this but I was actually reading my Tilt manual. I found there is supposed to be a BT Headset icon in the icon bar when a headset is active. Has anyone seen this? My headset is working great and so is my wife's on her Tilt but neither of us have seen this icon. The only time a headset icon appears on our phones is with the headset on of course in phone mode .....
hopefully there is a registry key that we can tweak?
I think the manual is wrong. I've been using PPC Phones since they came out and teh OS has always but the BT headset icon on the phone dialer, near the caller display picture. Now, WIndows Mobile Standard (non-touch screen devices) displays the icon on the top bar.
Hey guys
I have a Tilt and recently installed BTA so that I could channel music to my earpiece. I didnt like the sound quality so I uninstalled it. No I cant pair my bluetooth anymore. The two messages I always get is Problem with hardware, and bluetooth radio is turned off. I tried to pair a brand new bluetooth today, still no success. Perhaps one of my registry settings were changed. Please help.
from the sound of it, it looks like your are doing something wrong. are you sure you UNinstalled the BTA? because that message sounds its comming from that program
i'm sure i uninstalled it. Is there anyaway to reinstall original ATT tilt bluetooth radio? Thanks for your help...
Hi @all!
I know there are many BT issues concerning TyTN II and WM6. But this one is new, I think:
After pairing my Kaiser (WM6.1) with my BMW E46 handsfree unit, the first call I make immediately after pairing works fine. But after terminating this first call, there is no sound at all. Neither my Kaiser nor the handsfree unit utters a sound, though my Kaiser displays the small handsfree-icon, that confirms the connection is established.
I tried so many things to solve this problem. I tried different radios and different ROMs. But nothing worked till now.
Does anybody have an idea?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I soved the problem on my own!
First, the BT extension software "JETWARE" didn't help. But then I changed the JETWARE settings - and voilĂ : this was the thing. In advanced options I selected "Phonebooks", "Query status indicators", "Update status indicators" ang "Hang up/ swap to incoming call". All other options in advanced options I unselected. Then in phonebook options I selected all categories to sync, opened the "menu" -> "set limits", selected "Exclude Fax numbers" and "Limit how many numbers to sync" and set all options to 0.
Then I hit "Done", "Done" and one more time "Done" and connected my Kaiser with my BMW Handsfree unit (E46 ULF). And what happened was unbelievable. It worked perfectly suddenly.
Maybe this workthrough can help anybody else.
My conclusion: JETWARE solves the silence problem, you just have to choose the right options in JETWARE settings!
Greets to all active board users!
Here are some specs:
HTC Kaiser
ROM: Official HTC WM6.1 Professional 3.03.405.0 WWE
Radio: 1.64.06.04
Protocol: 25.70.40.02W
Do a search for "Unexplained volume drop to zero".
It's an ongoing thread about this exact problem.
My problem is different, I think, because after turning bluetooth off in comm-manager, sound works fine again immediately.
Any ideas?
I have a similar issue when I pair my Tilt with the Parrot MK6100. It will work for a while and then I can try calling someone or receiving a call. It shows connected, but I do not hear anything. The far end cannot hear anything either. What works for me is to reset the Parrot by turning it off and then back on.
I would be interested in a fix for this.
Tried to solve the problem by turning off htc home. but no success. i'm getting mad ...
BMW bluetooth problem
I had a similar prblem with my BMW 740 e38, which uses teh same ULF box. I cured it by disconnecting teh battery. Note, if your radio uses a key code, check you have it before disconecting teh battery!
Good luck.

I have the same problem with my Audi, I think it is the Bluetooth in the car rather than the handset. I get this problem with several handsets. You might want to see is BMW has an update.
Diconnecting the car battery (for more than 30 minutes) didn't solve the problem.
Nobody out there who can help?!?!?!?!?!?

Try Jetware, it is a 30 day trial but I think it is the BT software in your BMW. Check some BMW forums and see if there is an update.
Bluetooth Issue
Hi guys,
it is definitely the TyTy II and not the Bluetooth in your car!
I have a Parrot MK 6000 in my Honda and had NO issues with my previous HTC TyTn in combination with the Parrot or any other bluetooth hands free.
After every phone call the phone looses bluetooth connection and re connects after a minute or so.
Really annoying! I'm thinking to get rid of the phone if there is no update very soon.
jetware doesn't solve the problem.
is ist possible that the protocol is the reason?
first, i supposed, the reason for that annoying problem could be the number of contacts in pocket outlook.
but in fact i really have no idea till now.
anybody out there who can HELP??????????
SOLVED
Look at my first post!

I will try your settings with my 2005 X5 tomorrow...but as I can see in the set of settings you have chosen, there is no contacts transfer, no last dialed, no sms can you please confirm?
rabbit,
i have the same exact problem (lose sync with phone immediately after a call, then re-initiates contact a minute or so later), but is getting yet another app the only solution?? is there any other solution that fixes the WM6.5?
Hi all,
Need help with my HTC Diamond. As my Pioneer car navigation, with which the diamond bluetooth functioned well, was stolen, I was advised to mount a JVC navigation system NX7000 with a detachable front in order to prevent theft. However, the HTC bluetooth dysfunctions. It connects and pairs without problems, but when the diamond goes into sleep or is switched off, it is impossible to establish a phonecall using the JVC car-unit, although it indicates that blueconnection is still valid. When I switch on the phone, even minutes later, it will eventually do the call. If I force the HTC to remain powered-on it will function normally. I am sure that this has something to do with a suspend-mode of the diamond bluetooth part and that this can be solved by the right registry tweak. I tried several tweaks that I found on the forum already but without succes. I upgraded the HTC to the latest firmware 2.03 but no improvement.
I called with HTC and they said that they know the correct registrysettings but they won't supply them because of "licence restrictions"...........
Anybody the same problem? Somebody who has the solution?
Thanks
I have exactly the same problem! Incoming calls work fine, but like you, I cannot initiate outgoing calls from the JVC unit unless the diamond is turned on fully. I there's not a fix for this, I may have to go out and buy an iphone again after selling mine to get a diamond!
there is a fix but HTC won't tell. they suggested to open a thread on this forum in order to get suggestions on the matter. and so I did. When I subsequently asked them if they would post this solution on this forum they said they would not :-(
Bluetooth problems across the board with JVC NX7000

You may not want to fall back on an iPhone with the JVC NX7000. Not to go too far off-topic here, but pairing an single iPhone works great (once I figured out the overly complicated menus). BUT...it won't let me pair a second phone (of any kind). Once the first phone is paired, all pairing menu options are greyed out ("Search" and "Open"), thereby preventing any further phones from being paired. I first need to unpair the first phone before I can pair the second one. JVC Support is comically unhelpful.
Has anyone had luck paring more than 1 phone (of any brand) with the JVC NX7000?
You are the lucky one! You can succesfully pair one phone but it works
I don't care if I can only pair one phone. I only have one phone! lol.
Hey guys!
kind of the same problem here but with the Volvo built-in bluetooth solution. Actually when the device sleeps and I initiate a call it will take some time, then the device will turn on and it will begin to dial but drops immediately. When the device is fully turned on there is no problem at all. Incoming calls work just fine. Even though it first rings on the phone and after a second or two it will ring in the car and the device will stop ringing. Which confirms that bluetooth sleeps somehow and only connects fully when the device is fully awake.
It really looks like bluetooth goes to sleep, so we need a solution which keeps bluetooth awake even if the device itself is in sleep mode.

Exactly the problem I described. It's a sleep or suspend mode of the bluetooth that causes the dysfunction. I can pair nokias wih JVC without any functional problem, they work like a charm. It is really a HTC related problem, I tried a lot of registry tweaks suggested for similar problems in other HTC devices, but no luck so far.
Reply to Guitartng:
storing multiple bluetoothdevices in the JVC for subsequent use can be done by selecting "new device" and then go to "bluetooth setup".
Exact same issue with a Kenwood DNX 8120 double din unit.
If anyone finds out the solution, please post it here. I'll keep searching.
Good News Lads!
Well after blowing my head of trying different roms and radios got a solution.
The solution comes from JVC stereo and not from Htc diamond Phone!
You have to set special phones To Samsung E520 and then pair device with the htc diamond. It works like a charm, know I can make calls through my JVC stereo and NO MORE deep sleep of htc diamond.
Try with samsung, it work for me, if not try with other phones in special phones before pairing!
Cheers!
I just wanted to let you know that I also was able to fix my bluetooth issue by flashing stock firmware 2.03.405.3 WWE with Radio 1.09.25.23. I was previously using Dutty's V4 which is based on 2.03 afaik, but it look like Dutty tweaked something on the bluetooth stby behaviour.
Anyway, it works like a charm now and the whole calling and answering process is also much faster!
Hi all,
I`m confused since i can not disable bluetooth media service on SGN for my car audio.
I can actually, but for this particular session only: by going to bluetooth settings, clicking cog icon on my paired car audio, deselecting media profile and leaving phone profile only.
But the next time i reconnect both services are enabled again.
Any ideas?
i have the EXACT same issue in my car. I haven't found a fix yet
Nice to hear that im not alone here
But im not sure if it has something to od with car audio.
interesting is if it keeps choice of enabled/disabled services at all?
should it by design or not?
Tasker script could help maybe, but i havent tried it yet
