Will I lose unlock after?

I'm going to flash a friend's phone which has recently been flashed back to stock to be unlocked, will they lose the unlock if I flash a cm7 rom?

Once you unlocked your bootloader, installing ROM will not re-lock your bootloader

Read the [Guide] Bootloader and kernel guide | X8 | W8 | X10 mini | X10 mini pro thread, it depends on HOW your phone was SIM unlocked in the first place.

[Q] [DEV HELP] ROM Wont Boot

ok so i ported ARHD from the HTC Sensation to the HTC Vivid. it boots but gets stuck at the boot animation and it will not let me logcat AT ALL. i tried everything. could someone look in it to see whats wrong.?

the devices are almost the same but one had more ram(the Vivid.)

i used a deodexed, but other than that stock, ruu base.

Try posting this in the chef section, general section cause you won't get much help here

So, not to drag **** up again but, You took a rom and changed a few things around and expected it to work? That doesn't sound like devving. It sounds like bad copying.

Do I need to downgrade from 4.2.2?

Before I ask my main question, does rooting the ZR on 4.2.2 delete the DRM keys? If so, how can I downgrade to .310 so I can root and backup with TA?
I want to install beanstalk's 4.4 ROM, and to do that I need to unlock the bootloader which removes the DRM keys. So it would be good to preserve these just in case. Thanks in advance.

U r right. Just backup ur TA before unlocking bootloader. Rooting doesn't delete ur drm keys. The drm keys only gone if u unlock ur bootloader. So, no worry.

Ah thanks. alright so I have flashtool installed and there are no drivers on the list for the zr. Is there an equivalent which I'm supposed to install?
PS: I'm downgrading cuz all the tutorials say you need to unlock bootloader when rooting 4.2.2

Install the xperia A driver. It is xperia zr japan version.

what would happen if i flash aosp for hltexx on hlteatt? will it work like it does for note2?

Sgh-t599n variant ril & no service

So I flashed a few roms from here and AF "android forms" using the latest phills touch recovery. No I can only stay on aosp type ROMs if I go and flash a stock ROM, say gt ROM I will get a no service unknown imei,serial,network. Etc. Basicly it shows nothing of the modem. How did this happen and how do I fix it.

This didn't work. So now i am unsure as to why I cannot return to stock firmware.
I can't update my profile or prl cause the stock firmware clams I have no modem. Any help would be great. Just know if it happened to me it can happen to you
