[HELP] Can't mount SDcard after "adb push" rom.zip?

I want to up to some cook rom, i rooted, unloked bootloader, flash boot.img. First time, in recovery mode, i can't turn on usb mass store, but i can choose zip file. I used cmd to "adb push" rom file into sdcard. When it's completed and reboot, i can't acces sdcard. Now, my XL just stop at Hboot and recovery mode. Help me Sorry if my english is not good
why on earth are u pushing a rom insted of flashing from recovery ?
go to recovery,
mount sd card
copy zip file to sd card
unmount sd card
install zip from sd card
if this is not fixing sd card then u need to change vold.fstab in \system\etc\ if u are running hboot 1.25 or 6.25 then change it to 33 and only the number, if u arre running 1.28 or 6.28 then it is 34.
when this is corrected save the file and reboot.
u need to use an app like es filexplorer that can give u write permission to system files.
or else there is a zip file u can flash according to the hboot u are on. if not i will make one for u.
but try the other things first
Og you are using touch recovery it is full of bugs, try flashing ics recovery via xl multitool found in dev section and do what I wrote

how can i flash zip file without sdcard available? can you give me some steps? ^^
here u go : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1667929
just instead of rom use the zip file i gave u
or u can use this zip file View attachment 1459318
unpack it to the root folder on C:/ and boot phone to recovery and then open runme.bat
then flash zip from sd card and then u have the correct vold.fstab
The easiest way to flash the zip is to get into the Recovery, mount SD card, and after that you flash in the nromal way.
If the SDcard is not available in the Android ROM this doesn't mean it is not available in the Recovery, so use Recovery Folks, if you have a recovery that does not support mount usb, then use QTAdb while in recovery to get you zip to the sdcard.
This is as easy as pepsi (masked comercial)
that is also what i am telling him ? push it via adb to sd card and flashing via recovery?

Now recovery screen is black, can't see anything. oh my god. I used QTadb, but i can't flash zip, when click on it, nothing happen

How to full reset/wipe SDcard/Virtual SDCard/Internal SDcard

Ok, don't know how to explain, and English is not my main...
I'm trying to use Rom Cleaner, and the rom cleaner is not loading my user.txt, because on sdcard there's no ROMCleaner folder.
In recovery mod with clockwork mod touch, installing from zip from SD card > choose zip from sdcard, it show this 5 folders 0,clockwork, ROMcleaner, legacy, obb (here is the ROMcleaner folder, but going to the 0 folder there is all my SD stuff, roms, music, pictures, etc)
My point is that before there was not showing the 0 folder or all this 5 folders on clockwork mod,
I tried deleting partition, format SD, format external SD, everything possible and still there this partition, and because of this, cant load my user.txt Rom Cleaner..
anyone can help me please..

Ok, I can answer part of your question.
In android 4.1.2 the sdcard was located in /data/media but upgrading to android 4.2.2 the sdcard contents were moved to the /data/media/0 folder so from clockwork mod your sdcard contents will now be seen in the 0 folder.
As for rom cleaner I have never used it so perhaps someone else can help with this.

[Q] Urgent Help required - Not able to locate update zip in Stock Recovery

Greetings,
Unable to find the flashable update zip file from stock recovery 3e which exists on my sdcard.
I need to install CWM recovery and flash cocore kernel and root. I did this earlier countless times.
I am on stock XXLQL 4.1.2 Italy FW. Just FYI, a couple of days back I had flashed HarshJelly 4.
Below are the options in stock recovery <3e> -
1. reboot system now
2. apply update from ADB
3. apply update from external storage
4. wipe data/factory reset
5. wipe cache partition
6. apply update from cache
When I select 3rd option, I cannot see the update.zip or any other file which is in my sdcard (internal storage). I just see below –
Choose a package to install:
/sdcard
../
Added information is, when I go to root of the phone with Solid explorer, I can see below relevant directories –
sdcard <this is a symlink for /storage/sdcard0>
storage <inside this there is sdcard0 dir>
Inside storage there is sdcard0. And when I access the same directory by either ways (clicked symlink OR went is storage/sdcard0), I could see all my flashable files over there.
I already read something about this being related to 4.2 JB version. However, did not find any confirmed resolution or workaround on any forum.
I have already tried -
1) formatting of internal storage (sdcard0) and external storage (memory card) from phone settings -> storage -> Format USB storage AND Format SD card.
2) That didn’t work hence, I tried formatting my ext card (referred some XDA link) from PC with all - FAT32, NTFS and something like ext.... Still no luck.
3) Downloading zip files again to ensure they are not currupted.
Please note that I can copy data to both storages, hence I think my storage doesn’t look like corrupted.
It will be a great help if you can guide me to resolve this issue. :fingers-crossed:
Stock recovery let you search for update.zip in external sdcard (/storage/extSdCard/ on stock jb)

I have already kept the update.zip in both internal and external sdcards (/storage/extSdCard/ and /storage/sdcard0/). Missed to mention that.
However, could you please confirm on this as the symlink /sdcard in the root is for /storage/sdcard0 which is internal sdcard.

How re-partitioning will help?
Can't it be roll backed to earlier condition rather than re-partitioning?

Instal ROM without SD card

Good Morning everyone,
I haven't been able to get an answer in the forum related to this question
I keep reading TUTO in order to custom my new Mi5, and everywhere it is written :
Download the ROM
Put the zip files on your SDCard
Reboot in Recovery
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Select "Install zip from SDCard"
Flash
BUT, Mi5 does not support SDCard. How could I put it into it ?
Thanks,
Laurent

You can flash custom rom by going to recovery and select install zip from adb sideload.
Now, adb command prompt and type "adb devices" and press enter, it will recognize your device and then type "adb sideload (your_rom_name.zip)" and press enter it will flash zip file in your device......
[emoji117] NOTE:- Before performing any above steps you must have adb drivers installed in your pc..

Your phone does have SD Card. An internal one. Well, a partion of your internal storage is emulated as SDcard and mounted as /SDCard0

You don't need to boot your phone to copy the rom zip from your PC. You can do it while you are in recovery via MTP file transfer.

Thank you for your quick reply, but I have an issue.
I cannot find the folder /SDCard0 in my phone system. I have only /SDCard, which go directly to my internal storage.
FYI: I use TWRP 3.0.2

/SDCard or /SDCard0 makes no difference. Your internal storage it's seen by system as an SDCard. Copy there your rom. Zip and flash it. Those tutorials you are talking about are made with assumption that you download the rom zip on your PC. You can download those roms right on your phone using your phone browser. Like this it's much easier and you'll skip Step 2 the step that got you confused.
