Does turning on System Power Saving slow down the performance? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have noticed when my phone's battery was getting low (without SYSTEM POWER SAVING turned on), zooming into pictures did very poorly.
It worked fine again after charging. So does the Note have an automatic performance cut to conserve battery even without turning on any Power Saving from the device.
Does turning on System Power Saving slow down the performance?
If so, will turning it off automatically bring back the Note's performance to normal? If it had turned off some other things like animation, will it turn it on again once I uncheck System Power Saving?
Or is there something else I have to do to bring back the speed that was lost due to power saving?

I notice the camera fails to function at low battery too.

turning screen completely off?

is there a way that make the kaiser's screen off completely without going to sleepmode?
because when i press the power button wifi disconnects, otherwise the screen drains a lot of battery needlesly with the dimmed light...
Download Kaisertweak and enable wifi during sleep mode.
Or use Quickmenu that has a shortcut to "turn screen off".
But you'll notice that what drains the battery the most is Wifi, not the screen. Expect 4-5 hours of battery life with Wifi on, even on standby.

Power Saving Mode - Setting always on?

Hi, so when i go to my power settings and select Power Saving mode, turn it on and select the option "power save at 20%" (or whichever %) , i assume that this means that Power Saving mode will only be enabled when battery level reaches 20%.
One of the "features" of Power Saving is to turn off vibration on some things... ie the keyboard keystrokes. Yet my battery is at 70% and the vibration is disabled. (Turn battery saving mode off and vibration returns. But also the option for turning powersaving on at 20% is grayed out now so i assume that that will not work any longer!)
Am i understanding the power saving settings wrongly?

Medium Power saving mode, GPS not working properly?

I get "GPS signal lost", while driving in the middle of nowhere. When I switched power saving off GPS stayed connected.
This is normal? I had power saving on all the time on my Note 5.... But not 100% sure...

Note 4 shots off with 60% battery.

Hello!
I got a new Note 4 and it turns off while still have 60% battery life. I did replace a battery and still does it but at around 40% bat.
I'm open to all suggestions.
mee too.
hello, see if the phone shuts off while you use it with power saver on, (not the ultra power saver, just the normal one). mine shuts off normally, but its doesnt while with power saver on, seems like a bad board.

Power saving when battery low

The P20 Pro's power saving option seems to get activated automatically when the battery gets low, and does not automatically deactivate whe the phone gets charged up again so I have to manually remember to disable it, meanwile wondering why push messaging isn't working properly. Anyone know either
How to stop it automatically enabling when the battery gets low, or
How to make it automatically turn off when the battery is charged up again
Anyone?

However, you might be confusing the battery with an exclamation mark(battery low notification) for the power saver icon ( leaf inside battery indicator)

The link seems to be about getting the Android power saving mode to activate automatically, not deactivate. And I think my issue may be Huawei's power saving mode, not even the standard Android battery saver that's kicking in.
Problem is that when the battery gets low, the phone does indeed go into a mode where background checks for things like mail stop. That's fine when the battery is low but unless I remember to turn the power saving mode off manually I'm left suddenly noticing I'm not getting mail notifications even after the phone is charged... The normal battery saving mode on stock Android automatically disables when the phone is charged, but that's not what's happening here.
