Hey,
There are some stuff that i can't seem to figure how to do. Google and the "Help" on the coreplayer site, didn't help me much. So maybe you can help:
1. If I play music and listen through the speaker (not the headphones), when i turn off the screen - the music stops. Is there a way to change that? the battry gets flat in no time with the screen on..
With the headphones the music doesn't stop.
2. Is it just me, of the media player is not so intuitive? I want to clean the database, and I just cant find the place to do that (that works..). I've tries the official help file (http://support.corecodec.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=44) and it doesn't help me much.
All i wanted to do, is to listen to my music without the sound files of my programs (all the small .WAV files). and even if i choose to scan only my music folder, it gets all the other sound files on my device.
HELP?
Thanks,
Udi

Hi all,
I am now having difficulties to add music folders onto the stock music player on gal not.
Currently i am using poweramp it is much easier, but i have issue when playing a song then the poweramp gets hung. It cannot skip and need to reboot the phone.
If anybody out there can help me please share me the knowledge.
Thank you
BR
Where are your music folders?
I have the opposite problem. The stock player includes every MP3 file on my phone, but some of my MP3s aren't music and I don't want them in the music player.
The stock player should just scan your whole phone and include any MP3s it finds. I don't think there is a way to tell it which folders to include or ignore.
Add a .nomedia file in the folders it shouldn't include.
@beanr2s
Open stock music player - menu - setting - music menu - check mark on folder
thats it.
I tried .nomedia, but it hides it from phone completely, so I converted my tones from .mp3 to .ogg and player still sees them. I know I can move tones to system\media\... but I don't want to because I need these to be separated. I don't understand why player reads these tones because they're in the same folder as Hangouts tones that it doesn't read, so does anyone know why Hangouts tones are invisible to the player, but those that I insert aren't?
In the stock music player you have a option in settings to don't show music files with less duration , you can choose hide media files between 0 and 120 seconds. Just open the music player, and in the bottom , on the right side tap settings icon and then something like filter I don't remember exactly . Good luck

Thanks. I saw that actually, but too bad I'm not using stock music player. It's frustrating, because of those Hangouts sounds, other players don't read those, just like stock. I was hoping someone knows some magic trick for that.
Hi!
I wonder if anybody else has encountered this issue and could help me with the strange bug that has started to happen after the latest update (CLT-L29 9.1.0.328).
The stock Music Player starts automatically playing songs at random times and it's really beginning to be annoying. I never even use the stock player, since I stream all my music with Google Play Music which is assigned as the default player. The only MP3 I have on my phone is the song that I use as a wake up.
I was wondering if I could revoke stock player's file premission without messing up the Google's Clock app which I use as an alarm clock?
Thank for your help in advance!
Yes it's fine to do that.. you should go one further and remove it completely along with 100's of other crapware.
