Ok after many many hours of frustration I finally got the phoone rooted, have the superuserapp so it must have been done right!?
Had Windows 7 64bit version, so this is how I did for all others trying.
* Downloaded Android SDK, extracted it contains to c:
* Started the SDK Setup and closed the first update-asking-program
* Checked out “Force https:// … using http://” under Settings
* Selected “SDK Platform for Android 2.1″ and “Usb Driver package in "avalible packages" and installed them.
* Closed the program.
* Downloaded this files: http://depositfiles.com/en/files/yz4rg8u3i
* Started phone in normal mode and plugged in to the PC
* Go in to device manager, choose "update driver" for the ADB.
* Select “Browse my computer for driver software”
* Choose “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”
* Choose “Mobile devices” (NOT the ADB Device that comes out first on the list)
* Locate the driver to the downloaded 64bits driver and it will install the adb.
* Start the unrevoke-program and VOILA!! IT worked!! After hours and hours of frustration!

The ADB changes to HTC something, dont know if it supposed to be like that? Havent really checked if the ADB is working. Is that neccessary if I want to install WildPuzzleRom? Or is Busybox an alternative then?
OKAY after explaining how I did, my question then:
* Is it okay now to try installing WildPuzzleRom
* Do I have to do a nandroid backup BEFORE that?
* Do I need to make an goldcard for this?
* Do I need a USB card-reader-adapter for this? (If I must connect the SD to the computer for putting files on to it o format it or something?)
* Is 2gb enough for that? Considering that I want have mp3s, movies etc on the card, just for flashing roms and downloading fun apps.

Is it okay now to try installing WildPuzzleRom--Should be fine
* Do I have to do a nandroid backup BEFORE that?---Definatley
* Do I need to make an goldcard for this?---nope,copy files to sdcard then boot into clockwork recovery, select install file from sdcard.
* Do I need a USB card-reader-adapter for this?---nope, i just plug my WF into usb and copy files onto it.
* Is 2gb enough for that?---You may want to get a bigger card, i use a 8gb.
Lastly do a nandroid backup, reboot phone, plug into usb and copy whole clockworkmod folder off sdcard onto your pc. In case you accidently format the card and lose the backup.

* Thanks! A quick answer! Okay, so to put the files on the SD-card via USB, do I have to use adb then? Or can I just put the phone as a usb-device and drag the files to the sd-card?
* Is there an easy guide to do the nandroid backup? It says something about installing new SPL before and stuff I really dont understand.

You Can Perform File Transactions normally , don't worry. You don't need ADB for that.

Pree the Volume Down key along with the Power Key
Wait for a few moments after HBoot gets loaded
Press Voume Down until it Highlights 'Recovery'
Press the Power Key once
You Should be into Recovery now
Go to nandroid
Backup
Confirm Backing up
Process should get started
After a Moment Backup should be completed , make sure you have 170~300MB Left in your Memory Card
You should be done by now
Also to get BusyBox working you will need to Have a ext3 Partition on your SD Card , Do it via ROM Manager.
ext3 Partition can also be utilized if you use the Dalvik2SD Patch

Okay, thanks, but then I dont set the phone to "just charge", Im going to put it as "disk drive"?
For the nandroid, I did that directly after rooted with unrevoked, but got an error-message when it was done, something said about the sdcard.
And, with busybox, is that neccessary than? Ceybercool10 said I could use only USB, and that sounds easyer. I dont know what ex3partition is.
To Mount it as Disk Drive do this :
> Go to Home Screen -> Menu -> Settings -> Connect To PC -> Check "Ask me" ->
Or
Go to Default Connection Type and Change it.
In 'Ask Me' Phone will ask you everytime , what to do with the USB Connection to PC , Mount as Disk Drive , Network Sharing , Charge Only or Sync.
Tryed again, maybe it worked, but got this errormessage:
"No sd-ext found.
Skippin
g Backup of Sd-ext.
Generating md5sum...
!Backup complete"
Is this what you mentioned I have to fix with the ext3 partition?

No it doesnt. You have to connect as device. This will unmount the sdcard for the phone itself but mount as a device for your computer.
Another way is to use adb.
You can use
Code:
adb push <pathtoyourzipfile> /sdcard/
Since you not common with linux and/or command line, i suggest you use the default way and mount your phone's sdcard as a devce to your windows pc.

Yes, thats was exactly what I was wondering about, but got another answer before wich made me wondering again. , so now its just as simple as to put the WildPuzzleRom files on the SD-card and flash via ClockWorkMod? - starting in the orders that the author has placed them in the "download list"?
After backing up the Files and putting the flash files on SD , Just follow up the Instructions on WPR Installation , All will be fine if you go by the Instructions
Yes that should work - i never used PuzzleRom but self-cooked Updates and others.
Copy the files on sd, then flash+boot/reboot.
The How-To should cover that point.

Thanks! Going to try this when I come home!
Do I start every file the same way later?
Its not the simplest instructions to follow...etc
3.Insert a new formated sdcard with NO ext-partition, did a full WIPE (Should I formate a SDcard on the computer and then put it on the phone? - sais nothing on were to put the flashfiles etc, because the 001 WPR should now be here, right?)
5.Started Rom Manager and choosed Partition SDcard (Is Rom manager a program on the phone? Or something I have to install on the computer?)
6.Had to install clockwork recovery and choosed model wildfire when asked (do you install this via Rom manager? Or is it something I have to download by myself?)
11.Unmount SDcard and start Rom Manager, choose similar to "reboot into recovery" for manual installation (unmount from computer and put in to wildfire again? And now put ALL THIS ON THE CARD?? NOT RENAMING ANYONE TO "Update.zip"???

I'm trying to get the ZIP file copied to the sdcard. I have followed Verygreens instructions and have the imaged burned and able to boot into CWM.
I have ADB up and working. When I copy the ZIP file to the SDCARD with ADB with this command: "adb push cm-10-XXXXXXXX-UNOFFICIAL-ovation.zip /sdcard" the ZIP does not show up in CWM when you go to install zip from /sdcard.
When I do a directory list in ADB the ZIP shows up in internal memory.
In the Nook android developer documentation the external sdcard is referenced as /ext_sdcard and the internal card as /sdcard.
When I try to push the file to /ext_sdcard I get a permission denied error.
Are verygreens instruction for Lunix not PC. I'm using Windows 7. I've got all the parts working I just can't get the ZIP file to where it needs to be.
Can you install the ZIP from the internal memory? instead of the sdcard?
Any help appreciated.

Are you using ADB WITH CWM? It soudns like you have adb going with the nook booted to stock. You boot to CWM, then go to mounts and storage, mount the /sdcard, THEN adb with CWM running and copy the zip over.

If I boot the NOOOK HD+ into CWM and mount the sdcard, then ADB will not connect to the NOOK, I do the adb devices command and no devices are found.
If I do the push command anyway, I get a "no device found error". If I tale the sdcard out and boot to stock CWM works again.
What am I doing wrong?

No clue as far as adb. Reading through the thread, some people used a linux vm or a linux cd to see the correct partition.

Ok, got it. What mine did when booted to cwm was find the nook hd+ and wanted to install drivers for it. But the adb devices driver would'nt work. What i did was right click on the hd plus device and selected update driver and installed the same driver as for the adb interface. When I did that the nook hd+ disappeared out of device manager and the adb interface device showed up and it worked. Thx for the help trying to get it. Hope this helpes someone else.
Device ID problem solved ADB working in CWM
I figured it out. When using Windows 7 64bit the device ID for the nook HD+ running CWM is incorrect in the android_winusb.inf.
After you plug your Nook HD+ into your PC, look in device manager for "NOOK HD+" under other with a question mark next to it.
Right click on properties and then go to the details tab. Look for the device ID. This is the ID that should be in the android_winusb.inf file.
My inf file had this line for the NOOK HD+
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_2080&PID_0005&MI_01
The device ID on my system for the Nook HD+ was VID_18D1&PID_D001 so I changed the entry in the INF file to:
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18D1&PID_D001
There may be more than one copy of this line in the INF file. Be sure to change them all.
Save the file then unplug the NOOK usb and plug it back in. You should see the Android composite ADB interface start working in device manager.
Now you can use ADB to push the ZIP file to the sdcard.
Remember you need to mount the sdcard in CWM before doing this.

^^ All I can say is THIS solved my problem. Working on this for 2 days and finally stumbled upon this post.
I was never able to copy the CM file because everytime I rebooted the Nook HD+ to CWM mode ADB would
stop being able to recognize it because it reloaded in Device Manager as "Barnes & Noble Nook HD+" instead
of the generic device ADB used when booted into Nook mode.
For anyone unable to get ADB working because it will not recognize the Nook HD+ once in the CWM, Try this. :good:
I too am having this same problem. I can write the image file to the sd card but after the nook re-partitions the card, my computer only sees the E:boot. When I look at the sd card with a partition manager, I can see the 4 partitions that were created but only boot has a letter designation.
How can I copy the cwm and gapp files to the cm10sdcard partition or how can I make adb function? Even with adb, will i see the added partitions? Please help. I am using a Nook HD+ and following Verygreens instructions for cm10. Also, are there other zips that are useful to copy to my card?

Ok try!
You are done with this:
For first time install only (you will need 4G or bigger sdcard, smaller ones are not supported and not tested):
gunzip cwm image and write it to your sdcard (entire sdcard not just one partition of it), use either dd on Linux/MacOS or Win32 Image Writer for those impaired by Windows. Make sure to use sdcard rated for fast small IO for best results.
Click to collapse
Now next step:
Insert the card into the Nook and reboot the nook, CWM should start.
(This will also automatically repartition the card into a correct layout no matter the size (but no smaller than 4G).
In the CWM:
Go to "mounts and storage", choose "mount /sdcard".
Click to collapse
Now connect your device with USB cable to PC and continue with guide:
Press power button to go back to the main menu.
Now do on PC: adb push cm-10-XXXXXXXX-UNOFFICIAL-ovation.zip /sdcard
Click to collapse
Here goes step when you can use "adb push" command to load any wanted zip or other files to Nook HD+. Actually you can push or send later your apk or other files to Nook HD+ too. This part is only for this, when you need install something before first run (some kernel or mandatory system changing files).
Now next part on CWM:
Next, choose "install zip from sdcard", and then "Choose zip from sdcard" and choose cm-10-XXXXXXXX-UNOFFICIAL-ovation.zip (which one you just copied to device over ADB
Click to collapse
Done? Ok next step:
When done installing, press the power button to go one level up in the menu and then choose reboot.
This will reboot you into CM10.
Click to collapse
Remember! Sometimes it stuck on first boot. Just push power button, device shuts down, remove SD card. Boot your Nook HD+ to original soft, insert SD and shut down Nook HD+. Now power it again and it start with CM 10.
With ADB problems you got solution before on this thread.
I try to inform VeryGreen about making some changes on guide.

You can run ubuntu from a live-cd using VirtualBox.
I don't have ubuntu live-cd or virtualbox. I am still having problems getting ADB to work. I am reinstalling the Android SDK. I just noticed that when it tried to install the Android SDK Platform-tools, the Android SDK Manager came up with Stopping ADB Server failed (code 1). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Great, glad you got it to work! Sorry for not replying earlier, but in general, both ubuntu and virtualbox are free downloads. I just put those two and get all the other apps from the play store.
Well,
I couldn't get the driver to show up in Device Manager for Win7 64bit when in recovery mode or CWM and then I tried updating driver software in the unknown device.
1. Right click Unknown Device and select Update Driver Software...
2. Browse my computer for driver software...
3. Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer...
4. *Choose the top, can't remember the name but it had "List all" or something like that.
5. Have Disk...
6. Go to the folder that has the driver and choose "android_winusb"
7. Choose "Android Composite ADB Interface"
And that's it, ever since it will have the correct driver after battling to get one after it said unknown device in Device Manager Win7.

1. Able to boot into CWM? Good
2. Do yourself a favor and don't rename it with that whole file name, abbreviate it if you can to cm10 or cm20130120. Verify that it transferred, it should indicate the transfer rate and also take a minute or two transferring the whole 100+ MB file, so be patient.
3. That's a good sign
4. I also read that but don't bother with it, here is /sdcard a real SD Card.
5. I didn't do that and got away with it.
6. Mine is Win7 64bit and his instructions on how to burn it were pretty good. Remember this only works on a first time basis, it will not work a second try so you have to reburn the image again and mount sd card and then push it.
7. Nope, so far.
8. Here is mine.
Ok, i got cm10 running, and first loaded gapps 20121130 and always got "unfortunately keyboard has stopped running" error. I saw on another thread that I may have the wrong gapps, so I downloaded gapps 20111011, pushed and mounted it. Still getting the keyboard error. Do I have the right gapps? Do need to uninstall the first gapps before mounting from sdcard the second gapps? Please help. Without keyboard, I can't do much.:frustrated:
PS: Got it going, worked to wipe to factory, reinstall cm10 and gapp 20121011 only. Thanks to leapinlar and all others for you wisdom and help.

Thank you for your reply. Are the above links given to give me a hand (stupid question certainly)?
Well, I am going to try to repair my tablet with a new SD card. But I need help right from the start.

Which one should I use? What am I going to do next?
When I start it in flashboot mode, I get the message "Android Macallan-user BL released by "WW_epad_11.4.1.30-20150121"
Press ...
Starting fastboot USB download protocol"

Thank you for your reply. Are the above links given to give me a hand (stupid question certainly)?
Well, I am going to try to repair my tablet with a new SD card. But I need help right from the start.

Well you should use the latest one which is UL-K00C-WW-11.4.1.30-user.zip
I'm not sure what you are attempting to do? Are you saying that your internal data is not working or just not recognised by windows. If the later you probably just need to update your drivers on windows.
Have a search for the latest compatible windows ones for Asus.
my tablet is stuck in boot process. I did something wrong when deleting built-in apps, so I have to make a recovery.
I made some progress in the meantime. Connected the tablet to the PC, put the CWM boot.img in the fastboot folder, put Asus UL-K00C-WW-11.1.4.30 firmware on the SD card, started fatboot.exe and got the menu on the tablet (reboot system now - install zip - wipe data partition - ...), started install.zip.
Now I get the message "This package is for KOOC; this is a tf701t. Error in storage/USBdisk1h/ul-KOOC-11.4.1.30-user.zip.Installation aborted
external SD card recovery to stock

This procedure did not work. However I have installed CyanogenMod with the Cyanogen recovery on the tablet and finally coud boot. Now I would like to go back to the Asus settings. How can I do this? The Asus UL-K00C-WW-11.1.4.30 firmware, as I said before, is followed by the message "This package is for K00C; this is a tf701t.", but the tablet appears as K00c in My Computer. Different names, same device!

Did you rename the stock firmware zip file to T4_SDUPDATE.zip and put the zip firmware file on the root of the EXTERNAL SD card and power on or restart your device. it should detect a firmware update. if it does not detect any firmware update after about 1 or 2 minutes or it boots normally, go into bootloader and select RCK from the menu with zip file on the external sd card.
it sounds like you were trying to install the stock firmware zip file through the custom recovery install zip option which will not work. TF701T is KOOC... also, make sure 100% that your Tablet is the WW version and not the TW or US version!

The zip firmware file was on the root of the EXTERNAL SD card. I did go into bootloader and select RCK from the menu, then install zip file --choose zip from /storage /USB disk1h -- T4_SDUPDATE.zip.
I am going to try the other versions of the firmware.

okay, since you have a custom recovery the zip file is not detected. CM and CWM recovery are not the same. you should be able to find an installable stock file somewhere or try another rom. As long as you have a working recovery installed then you should be good to go for any updates.
This is your best bet for near stock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf701/development/rom-t2999102

Since I can use the tablet with CyanogenMod now, I am satisfied. The links you gave me above helped me a lot.
Thank you. I could not have made it without your help. Warm handshake.
I had to use a factory reset to decrypt my phone. TWRP was asking a password (a known bug, nothing works) and I did a factory reset using TWRP. Now I get the message "No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?".
What is the easiest way to install OS? I want to use CyanogenMod and I have the latest build zip file. M7 doesn't support SD cards but I have OTG USB stick and I've copied cm-11-20141112-SNAPSHOT-M12-m7.zip there. I don't know if TWRP can recognize the drive. Windows doesn't currently recognize my device.
I don't have a recovery backup because decrypting my memory (stock encryption) apparently wiped that out.
Please help me, I have to get my phone up and running again!
TWRP 2.8.6.0
I found the folder "usb-otg" but TWRP doesn't recognize CyanogenMod zip file. I'm on the install menu.
Is it safe to turn off my phone now? Maybe I just turn off the screen and connect the phone to charger.

The file you have is 18 months old
look in the developer forums for something newer
you doing it right just copy the zip to the OTG and plug it into your phone and install it

Yeah, I just noticed that (does it matter?). Can you recommend me a relatively stable build?
What is usually the name for USB OTG device folder in file explorer? "Usb-otg" folder exists even when no device is connected to my phone. I don't think that TWRP recognizes the drive.
EDIT: I found my USB device!

If you want a simple non sense rom I would use this

Please tell me if it's safe to reboot my device now?
CM is now working fine, haven't noticed any issues. I still need Google apps.
I'm using TWRP recovery and I accidentally deleted the internal storage while trying to flash a custom ROM.
I have searched high and low for solutions but have found nothing.
I wanted to adb sideload a ROM but alas my computer (W8.1) will not detect the device. I know it's not a pc problem as it detects the ADB on my S6.
When I plug in my Mi3 in recovery mode, my computer just beeps and then nothing. No device found even if Device Manager. It still charges though.
When I plug it in in fastboot, the computer says usb not recognized.
Tried everything I could. Please help!
if you have a OTG pen drive or a pendrive with otg cable then format the pendrive with fat32 file system and then copy the ROM file in the pen drive which you want to flash. Now connect this pendrive with your phone and boot into twrp, this will detect the pendrive.
Now goto Advanced/File Manager
Goto /usbotg folder and copy the rom file and then paste it into /sdcard. Now the ROM file is ready to get flashed.

Thanks for the reply!
Is that my only option right now? I don't have a pendrive and would maybe buy it as a last option. But if it's the only way then so be it.

okay so you can also try one more method.(but I am not sure if this will work with fastboot or not)
Download a software named as AdbDriverInstaller.exe into your PC .
Goto fastboot mode and connect your phone with pc then click "Install".
I hope this will install the Adb driver.
Note: As you are on w8.1 try to disable driver signature verification(google it if you dont know about it) if the above method fails and then try again.

I downloaded the file and connected my phone ion fastboot but the program does not recognize the device at all.
Thank you for the help though!
BTW did you tried opening the bat files after extracting the fastboot ROM? Instead of using any software I just use the bat files to flash ROM

Sorry for sounding ignorant but can you link me to somewhere where I can learn to do that? A guide of some sort.
But the main problem is that I can't connect to whatever computer I can get my hands on.
Would doing this on Linux make a difference?
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390355257214632011 this should be the zip I believe (I have the zip, but not downloaded from there). After extracting. In extracted folder press right click with shift to open command prompt in the folder. Connect phone in fastboot mode. Enter fastboot devices command in cmd to see if you can see the device
