Hello guys,
I tryed to flash an alternative camera flash ROM to solve the videocamera shutter problem, but it just screwed up the camera and now i can´t use it. Any onde knows where to find the original camera flash to install?
Simply redownload your rom, if it's stock redownload the stock one, if it's a custom rom just redownload it! Then extract or simply open the zip file, go in system/app, and look for camera.apk, copy it to your sd... Then with root explorer copy the camera.apk in /system/app folder of your 2x , and set permissions to rw-r--r--, reboot and it should be ok as it was before!

Hi,
I have searched the forum and couldn't find a solution for this one.
It seems easy (or at least, doable) to go from Samsung glass lockscreen to android stock. But how about the other way around?
I am using Darky's ROM which has a custom lockscreen, could anyone advise where I could get the standard Samsung lockscreen from as I kind of preferred the fact that I could swipe in any direction!
Thanks!
This is probably the file you need. It's from JPM, deodexed.
Installing it is up to you. Root Explorer is probably going to be the easiest way.
I highly advise making backups before doing anything.
widgetlocker.v1.2.4 its OK

Any advice as to how I go about using it? I already have Root Explorer. Thanks!
Easy, copy a stock android.policy.jar to /system/framework/ folder (replace it using roote explorer or similar).
Here is mine.
I will upload an update.zip later.
Copy, paste and reboot, then wait, first boot will be a little slower than usual.
### Update ###
Download Old lockscreen.zip, rename to update.zip, copy to internal sd, reboot into recovery and apply update or use CW to apply zip from sd.
Tested and working on JPM / JP6 (not tested on not deoxed rom...)
Work with CW or 2nd recovery (need to be renamed to update.zip)
First boot will be slow.

Hello

What is the way to do that
Because the file is one of the system files and when I want to install file I get a problem that does not want to install
Anyway to restore the stock camera App ?
I have moved the Camera APP from "/system/app" to sdcard and then to my pc.I changed the icon to ICS Camera icon and now when i try to install it says to replace it,i click yes and after the process finish says "app not installed".
I have the APK and the .odex file of the f***** camera, just need a way to install it.
if you picked it up from /system/app then you need to restore it in /system/app itself
backup your current working camera apk and odex [as you have]..
move modified files to /system/app and change permissions to rw-r--r-- as others then only it will work.. if it doesn't reocognise in first attempt after permissions then reboot and see if it works...
if it doesn't simply means modifications don't work --> restore

Put the Camera.apk to /system using any root file manager and then set the permission to rw-r-r. Reboot. Here is the link,
Stock Camera App
If that doesn't work, just backup the data and then reflash the stock rom using odin. Hope I Helped
Here, stock gallery apk. Just unzip and install or put in system/app
Sorry no edits tools on it. But brings the widget:good:
