Hello XDA :)

Hey everyone, Just hopped on board after long time of using the forums, figured I might as well start posting and learning more and more.
My name is Kris, and it all started for me on the original android phone (G1) and now am upgraded to the G2
I also work in mobile sales.
I'll post pictures of screens, and more detailed backround when I hit my limit...

There is no other way.
Be patient and once you become an active member with more posts you´ll have all XDA features unlocked

Yeah, I read that it was like 12 posts or something? I'm not worried about it, i hate spam bots just as much as anyone else.

Okay so more about me now
I'm from Cincinnati, OH, always had a love for electronics, gaming, mma, and cars.
We'll start with the electronics, I am currently using the temp rooted overclocked HTC Vision :G2 and am loving every second of it.
I play a ton of xbox 360 (COD, Halo, UFC) also have a modded console, and such.

had 7 of them for a while, bought broken ones and fixed them, had a Jtag also.
And onto cars, I had my dream car, but wasn't the right time to own it, so I sold it. I am currently just driving around a 05 civc.

I my self are a xbox 360 fixing enthusiast!
I got a premium for free not reading discs and it only cost me £40 for a new drive!
then i got an elite for free with rrod, but i couldn't fix it. So i got £26.09 when i sold it on eBay.
So i bought a Ps3 off eBay that didn't read discs and that come to a total of £118, and they are about £160 second hand.
Anyway, nice supra!

Thanks man, I really tried to wait until I could kinda show everything, besides just talking about it. If anyone ever really needs me, I'll probably be hanging out in the G2 section, until I get put on a concession line and get the incredible, and Evo

Tax Time

Only once a year it comes around. For me it means a new phone, I don't really care about the cost because its a yearly thing. So the question is what kind of phone to buy. I'm bound to a sim card so it's most likely going to be a T-Mobile phone. K so the question is what to buy I was thinking about a Nexus-s or a Droid 2 global because they both have Sims. Any idea's? I'm looking for power, speed, flexibility (rooting) and looks. I'm still rocking a good old g1 but I'm a little obsessed with (ORD) obsessive rom disorder.. some of you can relate.

I'll wait til I have money for a HTC dual-core that transforms and kick hippie ass all night and party everyday.

You will need a lot of patience then...

If I was rich.. I would be switching to Spring and getting an EVO mmmm HTC Evo 4G.

No need to be rich, just visit frequently marketplace and you can get a great deal over there

Patience is a virtue that I have virtually none. But I love my Desire soooooo much that I'll not give it up. Except maybe for a Meizu M9. Anyone has it here?

My GF's in freezing, fouled-up Beijing. I'm advising her to get the Meizu M9 if she insists on an Android... Company owes her some relocation cash and she's running out of ideas on how to spend it.
I'll stick to the Desire until they manage to root the Meizu

Sidekick I'm late in the game didn't get a phone until I was 16ish im 21 now
I use swype so expect bad grammar and errors

Nokia 3210, best phone I ever had. I'm thinking of repairing one of the 3310s (nearly identical) I have, and use it lol.

Blackberry Curve 8330. Not a bad phone at all, but not for me.

My first one was a Nokia 1100, just an awesome phone, i used to play catch with it everyday, never broke

The first one I used was a brick that had to be carried in a shoulder bag. I want to say it was a nokia, but I honestly don't remember.
The first one I owned was a candybar style with a 3 line lcd display. I'm pretty sure that one was a nokia.

My really first phone was a payphone on school, but then I got older and got Samsung zv-10

Mine was the LG Chocolate aka the LG 8500, used it for 3 years until the keypad started to crack up but still worked. Currently using the HTC Desire

Another reason to hate Apple

That is ridiculous. As a result of sanctions, we in Iran don't have access to the Google Play Store as well as the Apple App Store. But at least, Google knows it has a huge market in Iran and tries to keep the Iranian customers happy, by officially adding Persian to Android 4.0+, they have an official Persian blog, and still a lot of their services are available to Iranians. But not selling your product to someone who spoke Persian, is just plain redundant and racist.
I hated Apple, but now my hate free deeper. A LOT deeper...

Hey sir! Calm down! Take a deep breath and quit yer crying about Apple! Enough of this I hate apple so I am going to start a thread stuff! Please! I'm not trying to be mean, but OT is going to get clogged with this. I don't wanna hurt anyone's feelings, its just we android people know how bad apple is, and we don't need another reason. Just got my CES ticket! Totally psyched.

Yeah, I lucked out by registering early enough that the tickets were free. The drive from SoCal to Vegas just isn't that bad, and my uncle LOVES Vegas so I was able to 'borrow' some of his 'frequent hotel miles ' (whatever they're actually called ) so its really cheap.
Sadly I'm fairly hard up for money, so I (probably) can't afford a decent camera.... Hopefully I'll be getting a galaxy note ii by then tho, and I plan on just switching on Google+ instant upload for my pictures so anyone who's interested can check it out.
Now what I really want is a galaxy camera, but I think that's asking for a bit much.

Trying to get a new phone for the event..... Saving up for a Note II...

If you register early enough they're free. I registered as soon as registration opened. They get progressively more expensive as time goes by though, so that means that if tickets are even still available they're gonna cost an arm and a leg.
Ill check how much they cost now (if they're still available) when I get home.
