So I'm finally putting this up here. This is a pretty early build but something to start with. It's based on AT&T RUU Sense 3.0 build. It's de-odexed, zip-aligned, rooted, debloated, and with CIQ removed. You should be on the new Recovery (5.5.0.4) and if coming from another ROM, you should fastboot flash the boot.img that is included in the zip file.

I do have only a small issue with a single reboot after it's very first boot but everything is fine after that. If somebody can help me debug that, it would be great. I'll be adding more to this for who knows how long (probably until we have ICS) don't think this is it.
I'm also pretty new to developing on the HTC platform so if you have a request, please don't expect it quickly. This still looks very much stock until we can decode the type 14 files with m10 tools. I've only changed a few default wallpapers.
Taking the download links down until I can figure out what I've infringed on.
Nice to have another option. I'll try it out this afternoon and let you know if there are any issues.

Hmmm, so now it's working. When I tried earlier, it would just turn itself off, but I'm connecting now writing this. Strange.
If all your going to do is use my tweaked rom and relabel it by making a couple little obsolete changes...can at least give credit...smh...same exact tweaks etc....so either remove them and use your own or ask to use my work

Not so much. I deodexed the thing myself. Maybe because its based off of the same RUU? I think I might have used some of the init.d scripts but I'm pretty sure theyre from the supercharger thread. I'm not trying to steal anyone's work.

Ok, ok, calm down. I didn't realize the scripts were "your" work. I seriously thought they were from the Supercharger thread. If it makes you more comfortable, I can remove them. In fact, I can ask a mod to just delete this whole thread and not share anything I do? I'm not intentionally trying to steal anyone's work here. You realize we probably used the same RUU to build from which would be why it would looks so similar?

Nah, Droid is open source, in that spirit (at least in the Vivid forum) most of us share & even posts our sources freely and you will see that Wild Child had contributed to many of the roms here including Rum Raider, Holicakes, etc...
We all share in this small but tight knit device forum. As such it is just expected that you give credit when it's due & share improvements you make that benefit the developer community.
I see you've been around XDA awhile, so you know how it is. But this isn't a WM forum & most of us here literally talk, email & chat with each other frequently (quit it WC, I'll call you back 8/ ).
Seriously, this is a tight forum & a we frequently talk and throw files back and forth. You may not be used to that, maybe you can from one of those devices with the flashy gaudy roms that scream "look at me", where Android hackers & cooks don't embrace the Android open source spirit. I think you'll like it more here, but just be certain to credit others when you use their work & the world will be right once again.

Well, I apologize for using your scripts and not giving you credit. I will remove them from my build. Again, it was purely unintentional and I wasn't trying to steal or discredit anyone's work. There's plenty of people here that I've helped and plenty that can say I've asked for direction in how to do something so I can do it myself and not use somebody else's work. I like to know how things work not just copy/paste. And I'm not trying to make any enemies here either so I've removed the links until I can make the necessary changes.

AS ALREADY STATED, HTC apps and launcher WILL NOT WORK on a AOSP (Android Open Source Program) Rom ....
To wake up to someone calling your rom useless is disheartening to say the least. The only reason it was released at all is because nothing else has been happening in Wildfire development.
Infinitum, your have to realize that people have lives out of this forum and the devs have real lives and problems. I know Danne_Jo , Jacob and Adeadrat have been busy working on their stuff so you can enjoy YOUR handset more if your gonna complain about something make sure there is a valid reason to do so or shut up and make your own it's not hard !!!!!
I'm new to android development too, having a background in IT tech support not programming. I know the learning curve is steep but it's not impossible , lolz , this is my first android device and all i know is self taught or researched (google is your friend) Not impressed with my rom being called useless , so i might just go back to make custom roms for my friends in RL

@rolks 2 ways to do it uninstall ADW.Launcher or go into setting/app settings /manage settings then find ADW.Launcher and click clear defaults now, hit home button and it will ask what launcher to use choose launcher 2
Lol, why do people keep asking, i guess it's their opinion, but i find there are many awesome and BETTER alternative apps to htc apps, and also the htc sense interface bores me, launcher pro and mods ftw! Also, htc sense and apps stuff are closed source, it's going to be really hard to port them... to an AOSP rom anyway.

You'll have to remove almost ALL the bloat inorder to get it to flash.
Even after a DEODEX w/o bloat removed, the rom came to 208MB

Yeah, I got it to 176 but that meant no widgets or lots of other stuff.
I kind of wish the OP didn't post this yet. There are some bugs that we need to fix before it's ready.
Someone is going to try to flash this and come back and say #fixit

Hopefully ppl will know better (wish in one hand...) and not attempt to flash this. I'm in the process of deodexing it just to play with it. Though I do get lots of files that error out while deodexing.

I was just using Untermensch's deodexer. I had a few .jars error out but a LOT of apks.... T_T

Off Topic: Its kind of funny that you found this yesterday. Bluetooth & Wi-Fi are probably kernel issues, sound in call is likley a radio issue as if you run froyo with a GB radio or vice versa then you get exactly the same issue

Nice Rom! I like it, but the bug I can not go with it.
The actual MIUI Roms are all Gingerbread.
So we have to look, if this posted rom is a Gingerbread or a FroYo ROM.
Is there any kernel, we can patch in via update-script?
Same for the radio. I think, we have all the actual GB Radio.
If posted rom is a FroYo Version, we are a bit closer to the problem.

Keyboard backlight requires porting code that is specific to the IncS from the servcies.jar file (powermanagement section), and also requires code in the kernel for it to work. I have yet to sucesffully port it, even with the right kernel

I've never had the pleasure of trying a MIUI ROM (the hero never had one) but it looks nice. Looking at the thread this isn't being worked on, but I will take a look (no idea how much modification has been made over standard android so I won't know if I will be able to do anything with it, but I shall give it a look)

But i found another thread that contains the rom, i download and try it on my phone, and found it can not work at all.
no signal, no wifi, no back light. totally broken.
maybe your can download it from here
and as i know , the MIUI team did not have a plan that support Incredible S until the official CM7 rom released. so, hope you may do some work on it, thanks for your heart. enjoy it.

I tried this out for testing purposes, everything's chineese so didn't understood much but loved the UI. I hope someone can get a fully working MIUI port for this device+english language or a official MIUI release would be epic!

i have been trying to make a new port based on the RD miui rom, which initially worked out well, with the limits of the Custonexus rom + usb storage sharing which seems incompatible completely for now.
it has been tested , but somehow not lived up to a satisfying degree. the new base is little improved and got the fixes from custonexus rom included to support better handling and enabling/disabling in general (which of course should be perfect now)
anyways, there exists a big drawback on this alpha i will publish, which is it cannot currently use ClockWorkMod to restore to stock or another backup. and i have struggled to solve it, but unable to.
so it comes with a certain degreee of being less perfect, since you need to be experienced in using kdz recovery.
question is, how many would spend time with it, if you cannot use ClockWorkMod to restore (although most should know kdz recovery programs by now) is it worth releasing?
no problem for me..really happy to see u are the only person work hard to make custom rom for LG 4X,,,so no reason for me to buy nexus 4...thanks a lot!!
I love MiUI and I love you Dexter. But i'm affraid the 3G doesn't work in France with Custonexus, or maybe I'm a noob.

Lol. i know. But i meant, that i can do it without even looking at the phone. Flashing KDZ's is very easy...so easy even a caveman can do it.

totally agree and why i wondered. but i checked other sections and there exists worse ports than this MiUI.
but i cannot go back on a XX:1 in favour of releasing it, so here it is. Those that dislike the release, can simply skip it.
my secret agenda is that someone sits down and say i can do much better, and release a new 100% working ROM if possible

a common developer excuse is simply : we got no chance of compiling a kernel with fixes.
actually in this case it would help MiUI on the vibration fix, since they expect to control vibration with parameters with an updated kernel driver we do not have a chance to fix, so its messes up somehow expecting a newer driver.
and yes, i know there exist appreciation and worth the effort trying to show o4x can actually go all the way, and better if i get my f....

This should probably be in general section. But to answer your question I think it would be a tough task to create a sense Rom with all the loved features but slimmed down to an aosp Rom size..

Definitely doesn't belong in this section. But what is unnecessary? Everyone's needs are different, just strip the ROM down yourself. Not to mention a sense ROM will never be that small considering GE ROMs are 300mb+.

Again, that depends on what is unnecessary for you.
I tried to PM you but apparently my PM box is completely full and deleting with my phone didn't fix it. I am starting to look into what you want .....but beware...people are going to try and flame you to death for posting in development section. It's not at all possible to get a stock sense rom at 150-200MB...... the stock sense rom is about 950MB and even the GE version (no sense) is about 420MB

That may be true but they probably had much smaller roms to begin with.

BlinkFeed is still in but is not working with facebook because the facebook sense have something removed . But wait a while will be sorted out .
Overall this rom after the 2nd charge the battery seems to have improved tremendously compared to other roms

I found his Rom in a Turkish forum and I am sort of an unofficial beta tester for the Rom developer .
I believe further debloating may be possible .
I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks for the info.
