It's just an advertisement. Backtrack what you just installed. There was a software to detect which application has that type of ad, but like you, I don't want to search.
LOL. I did search dude. I never thought it was an ad from another app, which is why I searched I didn't find anything.
No need to be a jerk about it. Get off XDA if you are going to be like that. This is a place for people who are helpful and courteous.

Thank you! That is a ton of help. I had no idea that those kinds of ads existed and what they were called. I found the airpush ad detector app in the Market and will use it next time I see one of those ads.
I believe the offending app was the Pinterest app, which I see has been pulled from the Market for some reason. I have had the app installed for awhile but never noticed one of those ads before... So everyone alert your girlfriends, haha.
Thanks for your help!

Dear forum geniuses....Does anyone out there know where to get the Seeds of Life live wallpaper apk? Google gives a bunch of links to rapidshare and places I've never heard of, with no success....also, my captivate isn't rooted...how would I install if found?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
Dear Forum non reader. This file was found one thread above yours called what wallpaper is this. This link was posted at the very bottom and contains the apk file from which you willl need apk manager to install and also ROOT to side load. Although there is another way, just ROOT.http://www.mediafire.com/?jthw3mme4go
Wow....a sarcastic reply....clever. Funny how you say "non reader"when you yourself clearly didn't thoroughly read mine. Here it is for the second time, let me know when it sinks in....I clearly know the name of the file and have clicked on the link provided in previous posts, which in return sends me to a downloadable link that doesn't download an apk file but opens another window to another link...and so on and so on...Thanks for the reply though...maybe next time. (didn't download this forum app to be openly belittled)
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
its amazing how when i click the link it opens mediafire, i click download file and i have an apk file for seeds of life. If you dont like sarcastic remarks, I suggest you buy the wallpaper for the .78cents that it costs in the market next time instead of asking for a free version of it. And i wasnt trying to be little you my friend
im curious about something. I wonder if adb install will work on a non-rooted phone for sideloading.
if it does i'd be more than happy to post up a tutorial with screenshots from beginning to end.
Not on the market! Wouldn't search for help w/o shopping first, friend.Would be happy to part with the change, but....IT'S NOT ON THE MARKET. As to why you get an apk file from the link and I don't, I can't explain.

what error is that? I believe hes saying he cant get any of these apps at all
the barcode worked for me.. as cool as this wallpaper I didn't download it though.
I'm noticing.. some market items are missing for some people..
I can't get SimplyLockscreen to show in the market either.. so I'm not surprised if these users aren't seeing certain apps in the market..
Could the apps not be showing up possibly because of AT&T Market restrictions? Seems odd but I would say root the phone, install the apk through adb or Astro. Or root phone, install MarketAccess apk, emulate T-Mobile(US or AU), then search for it in Market. (If you were gonna do the second one though, you mine as well just skip half the work and install the apk from mediafire...but supporting developers is nice, especially since it's only $0.78 approx.)
Shows up in Market through Barcode Scanner for me.
Has to be am AT&T thing....Yes I have all of the proper apps, (barcode scanner) I just couldn't root my phone using lag fix...zip file doesn't show up on recovery screen.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on this app!. Costs $.99 cents now and adds the Palm Pre like wave bar/quick app launcher!
It doesn't replace your current launcher and could be accessed from any app! Just swipe from the bottom of your screen to the middle and thats it! Its really nice
(Thanks to Android Central for writing on it).

Ugly? How is it ugly lol.
For those of you that HAVEN'T bought it yet- it's today's free app at the Amazon App store.
This is one of those apps that once you've had it you can't go without it. I really like the new app drawer plug-in which brings up your whole app drawer over any currently running application.
Everytime I try to buy it via Bill My Sprint account, it gives me an error. And this was going to be the 15th app I buy via Bill My Sprint account.

great app! got if for free from amazon - now just waiting for them to catch up to the current version in the android market
I use it together with swypepad
One launcher from each direction of the screen edges and dock4droid on top or bottom of screen
Think sypepad might be the winner even if its not shapped like a "wave"
Cool. Nice apps!
Great recommendation! Ever since I became more than just a lurker on this board my wallet has gotten much lighter. Thank you for that
Edit: Its making tasker act crazy so I got a refund. Anyone else experience this?
I think Swipepad does the same, but better and looks way better.

lol tech savvy? u telling me that a member of a cellular telephone device development community is not as tech savvy as others? I help by responding "market", which is correct location btw for a rotary dialer, and you say members of this community aren't 'tech savvy' enough to understand that?
and in addition, someone other than the OP bashes me because I didn't physically push the damn application to his phone? think if the OP had responded first with, "wow, really appreciate ur help in finding the location of a rotary dialer". would we even have wasted this much data and finger muscle energy on the unlimited range of data that is the world-wide-motha jumpin-web?
I'm over the tech savvy argument. he wasn't asking for a ported version of an i9000 3d rotary dialer with a midget that gives bj's. he was asking for a simple rotary dialer.
anyone else pissed at the world today? feel free to take it out on me right now cause ignorance is for non tech savvy people and I'm definitely tech savvy.

I don't see a problem with it. There's not another thread that does what this does, and it could be informative. There could be an app that you tried 2 years ago and it was hideous so you've never tried it since.
