Are you able to fill up the entire card with data?
Never buy SD cards from ebay, especially if they are from a low rated or a Chinese seller as they will always be fake and lower size then advertised.
Only buy them from high rated sellers.
I bought it from an italian topseller in ebay. The auction was for a samsung class 6,so it s not my fault.I mailed the seller, and he offered me a replace for an official samsung with logo printed on.
The fake card is a real 16gb card, but the speed is not so great.I want the original one for the 10 year warranty, and for security of my data

I can't find anyone on the high street who do anything above a class 4, and looking online I find loads of people who have items listed, but down as "out of stock".
I've already been bitten with ebay, so please don't suggest that. (Bought a "class 6" Micro SD from a retailer with almost perfect feedback, card arrives, completely unreliable, crashes my Magic, files go corrupt, etc, i.e. the card was a POS).
Where are other UKers getting their class 6'es from?
7 day shop if you're not in a hurry
MicroSD 8GB Class 6
Thanks muchly. Ordered.
(particularly irritating as paid a tenner for the unbranded pile of arse off of ebay )
Because mine did...
I bought the 8GB model and there was an 8GB micro SD card included in the box :S
Is this normal or was i "lucky" ?
The phone reports
external sd: 7.60
Internal sd: 5.78
Internal phone: 1.60
The box and my receipt say 8GB samsung galaxy S! I bought it from an O2 Shop...
No they don't come with external SD card provided.
Was this a new SGS plastic wrapped or sealed box. I wonder if it was pre-used by someone and they forgot to remove the card when they took it back.
Any content on the SD? I would not worry overly much as long as you can register the device your covered by warrantee at any rate.
The 8GB card was a bonus.

the phone looks brand new and the sd card was in a plastic case (with an micro sd to normal size sd adapter). I bought it from an official 02 store...

Depends on the carrier, mine on Vodafone didn't, apparently 02 does.
Yes, this comes as standard with the o2 handset
Confirmed

Lucky you. My box says 16GB, but the phone has only 8GB internal. Bought sim-free model and the box was sealed. I was happy to see the 16GB on the box and little disappointed when I have found thee truth.

I, for one am sure that Vodafone Ireland sells SGS 8gb model with a bonus 8gb microSD card at the minute. So, this means it having or not an extra microSD card depends on your Carriers actual offer.
Hey guys i am looking for a good deal on 32gb microsdhc cards. I dont know if i should trust the ones on ebay because i know theres many fakes. Last time i ordered the msproduo cards and they were fake... said 8gb but were only 4gb... so i got a refund on those. Also if anyone knows some good deals on 16gb micro m2.
i recommend to buy at shop
Get a Sandisk card, those are usually authentic and offer great value and performance.
If you're looking for a card to put into your HTC Windows Phone, make sure you get a card with one of the following two model numbers:
SDSDQM-032G-B35
SDSDQM-032G-J35A (will be out for sale sometime this month)
A 32GB microSD card will cost you about 70-90 bucks including shipping. If you see an offer for a lot less, stay away from it.
Yea just bought this to put into my HD7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rt=nc&nma=true&item=250752727418
SDSDQM-032G-J35A (will be out for sale sometime this month) <--- Thats class 4 and it will not work in HD7 right?

Sandisk told me it's for sale in Japan since January 2011 (this month) but so far I haven't seen it for sale anywhere and noone is importing it from there either. They assure me that card will definitely work, but I have not run a test on it since I can't get one.
Dont know if its been posted but heres a cheap 32 gb card for xperia play-
http://www.mymemory.co.uk/SDHC/Integral/Integral-32GB-SD-Card-(SDHC)---Class-4
so who wants it get it lol its pretty cheap
Sure, you try shoving a full sized sd in the micro sd slot.
Even though that is obviously an SD card, that site has by far the cheapest cards in the last few months.
They had a Sandisk 32GB MicroSD class 4 for £44.99 the other month, which is the cheapest genuine card from a trusted retailer I have seen.
oh crap ma bad sorry about dat forgive me
i Recommend buying this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/San-disk-...AsAccessories_MemoryCards&hash=item336b041119
if i was you i wouldnt buy a cheap Micro SD card as i done this before and i was shipped a fake card with really bad tranfers speeds...
Teku
For anyone in the US looking
$44.95 based on the reviews sounds like the real deal:

In the uk i go to CEX and buy a second hand one at a pretty good price

I was randomly looking up sandisk to see if the 512gb cards were coming out anytime soon (We really need the 2TB cards) and happened on chance to see this. No part number and it is not in their direct purchase store yet. I took screen prints just in case they pull it off the website. Apparently it is out there somewhere.
Just found this reference to the card also..... I don't see any retailers with it available yet.... but it is suppose to be in the retail flow right now.
