I searched the specs for LG Optimus Black P970 and it says that can record 720p video at 30fps. But my OB record 720p just at 24 fps! What is yours fps in 720p recording?
In the new V20N firmware the video files are *.3GP? and how is the quality?
V20n video is way better than froyo but have not check the frame rate. Sound recording is very good too.

No, only with stock one. Tomorrow I'll try with lgCamera.
Well I checked on VLC and with V20N and stock app it was 17 fps, which is lower than in froyo (20 fps).

i recently installed dutty's hybrid rom. when i try to take a video i can record it but am either unable to play it back, or only able to hear audio. i tried the tcpmp video player and recording in h.263. when i played the videos back on my computer i either see a green or black screen with audio but no video. sometimes the videos show up as 3gp.
make sure you have the correct radio to match your rom, and try using quicktime to watch the videos as even vlc wont play the sound
how do i change my radio? will this wipe my device clean? i found the right radio, so can i just install it?

wrll the pure stockrom has video share, so is there like anbat&t video share cab
so i just bought a nexus one loaded with the newest cyanogen rom. my question is simple, which setting in the video cam is the setting for 720p recording? it was set at D1 by default but when i uploaded the test vid to youtube it wasnt at 720p? and also is there tap to focus in the camera? My dad has a bone stock htc hero and it has tap to focus. any help is appreciated thanks!
woops correction i am on cyanogen 6.0.0 rc2
In camera settings scroll down and select 720p for video quality and mpeg4 for video encoder.

Bitrate on videos increased to 24mbps from 17mbps
Photo quality set to 100%
HDR and panorama mod enabled
Unzip the archive and drop files in system/etc/
Don't forget to apply correct permisions (775)

Can you see if 60fps works when you zoom at 4K?
I have a Note 20U currently and I can do 5x zoom at 4k/30 but not at 4k/60
It seems like in this video, you can use telephoto 5x optical zoom at 4k 60fps.
I think this is the first ever phone where you can do this. Amazing
