I currently have my school email as well as my regular Gmail account but I want to narrow it down to one email for all use. I want to able to sync with contacts as well as Calender in Outlook and my Nexus s. How do you guys organize your daily lives with these services??

Anyone know of a good Notes app?

I really like keeping notes on my phone but there's no Notes app in the AT&T ROM. I tried pulling the one from RumRaider but it FC's on opening so I'm guessing it's missing dependencies/framework or something. Is there a notes app that will work with Sense 3?
Thanks!
I too have been searching for a good notes app, but haven't found one yet.
I use aknotepad from the market. Unless you're talking about something different.
Evernote is really good, free, and syncs to their server (a must if you flash a lot).

"Only" 5 million + downloads from the Android Market. I use it to sync between my work and home PCs and my Vivid. I figure it's as easy to enter a text note in Evernote as it is in any other stand-alone text editor or notes app.
AK Notepad was a great suggestion. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Although I might have to check out Evernote.
I tried several, and Evernote beats em all hands down, IMO.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Gtasks.
I use Gtasks for the convenience and simplicity of use. You simply download it and it syncs immediately to your google account. You can enter notes from your phone or pc (from your gmail calendar) and even while reading articles or websites on your phone, you can share the webpage or article directly to gtasks, so it sends a link to the app. You can further use it as a task management tool by setting reminders and alarms for each note item.

evernote has similar functions. Plus there is a really good chrome extension so you can clip text or send a page directly to your evernote account.. I use this all the time for recipes and stuff. Also it looks like HTC built a native note app that will sync with evernote now and it works great!
I use gtasks for a long time, I might give evernote a try

I use one called ColorNote. Its a good basic note program. I havent really tried any others.
If your an MS Office user, OneNote is now available for Android. Cloud syncing via LiveDrive works well.

I am running stock AT&T .56 ROM & I have the built-in HTC notes app that syncs with Evernote.
I use colornote. its quite convenient to me.
U can find it on Google Play!
As an MS Outlook user, I like MyPhoneExplorer for syncing contacts, notes, calendars and tasks. The developer is actively engaged, and responds quite quickly to support issues.

Birthday notifications

Hi,
Before I bought IncS I had htc tattoo. On that phone I was getting birthday notifications for people that have bday added in the contacts while on this phone I don't. I am using android revolution HD rom.
Thank you for help.

You have to enter Calendar and for every birthday you have to change the Reminder from None to some value.
and if i don't see the birthdays in the calendar?
i see only birthdays from facebook :-(
Go to Phonebook, pick some name and see if there actually IS birthday in information.
i made 2 screenshots
one of a contacts with a birthday-information (in german "geburtstag")
one of the calendar with no information on 28th may (but on 30th from an other contact with bday-info from facebook)
(my rom: virtuous unity v2.39.0, andorid 2.3.4)
I have people with birthday in the google contacts but those b-days do not appear in calendar. Is there no function for b-day reminders for people in contacts?

how to sync facebook birthdays and holidays to your google calendar

im not sure if a thread has been made on how to do this. but i finally figure out how to get all my facebook birthdays to sync into my google calendar. i followed what they said here on this web page http://mashable.com/2012/02/21/export-facebook-birthdays/ it works good and its a nice little slide show, so it should be noob proof. lol. anyways i just wanted to share my findings just encase someone is trying to figure out how to do this. it also synced all the holidays to my google calender as well. i posted a few pics to prove it. even though i wouldnt waste my time lying about some like this. lol
Don't holidays already show on the calendar?
Good to know. I used HaxSync to get all my FB birthdays and events. (As well as join like google and fb contacts)
What is that first calendar?

Its an app called android pro widget. Here is the link to it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rdr.widgets.core. in order to theme it like that, u have to buy the key which is 2.50. But its worth it.

[solved] Google alternative

Since a can't sync my Google calendar data more than one month ago (and I NEED to have access to all my appointments) I ask you:
Is there a free alternative to Google calendar? Something with cloud address and calendar syncing? And easy to set up in android?
Have a nice day

Facebook Sync

Anyone have a way to sync Facebook contacts in JB 4.3 like the one in Sense? Is there a way to pull that file and install it?

HaxSync

Sorry should have been more clear... To import fb contacts like stock.
My understanding is all these apps can do is add photos to existing contacts.
Or does it pull all fb contacts and show them under people?
I know its just a buck, but I don't feel like paying for something that won't work....
Anyone confirm how haxsync work?
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
Well that was a waste of a buck. Haxsync was worthless. All it did was pull birthdays and events for fb contacts. Didn't do anything to pull contacts and their numbers to integrate with phone book.
Plenty of other free apps that could have done this without paying.
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
Contacts+ is free and syncs with Facebook and g+. I like it
I went back to Sync.me.
I thought maybe since HaxSync was paid might have Facebook contact number capability...
But I think no 3rd party app is capable of it.
Tried contacts+ its OK but nothing spectacular. Sync.me pulled contact information from people that were in my phone but not my Facebook friends off their public profiles.... So now I even have pictures to their names....Useful for like employees, where you don't necessarily want them as Facebook friends but need their number in your phone book.
