Easy way to AdobeFlashPlayer 11.0 aka 10.3.185 - Samsung Galaxy Mini

hi everyone, first off all i know there are two threads out with the same theme
but both ways they explained dont work for me ;-( so i tryed around and found a realy easy way to get the AdobeFlashPlayer11.0 aka 10.3.185 on your mini!!
ok lets start-
all you have to do is download the AdobeFlashPlayer.apk from the link i gave you if its done put the apk on your sd card and install it with root explorer or any other file manager!! if its done you dont have to move any files or even change any permissions just install and use it ;-)) iam now on emanoNv4 and it works great on it but i think it will work with other roms too!!
notice: runs on cm7.2rc5 also
notice: !!dont work with opera mini browser!!
update: !!works on any custom rom i tried till now and also on any device with armv6!!

JBED Java for Android

Anybody has experience installing JBED Java re: these instructions on the Nexus One?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=563964
I got as far as installing everything but the Java runtime FC everytime on load.
Works fine on my Magic.
Hi olgs
I searched and tryed a lot till getting this to run.
Finally I extracted the needed files from the MoDaCo Custom Rom for Nexus One "r14 with default MoDaCo additions" and installed them with the same instructions and it works on my Nexus One with cyanogenmod
To download just search the Forum for: 27/Apr r14 - MoDaCo Custom ROM for Nexus One *Chinese Input*
The needed Files are:
system/app/Jbed.apk
system/lib/libjbedvm.so
For all others which wanted to install Jbed on an Android 2.1 devices such as the Nexus One, i think it should work as it did for me
I also uploaded the needed files but since i'm new to the forum i can't post URL's maybe i can send them via PM or else email just ask
Greez and sorry for my bad english

Can anyone tell me how to install this on my Desire HD??
I copied the two files to the root of the sdcard, installed the apk, but when I open the jded app, always facion force close process...
What is the .so file for?
First of all you need a rooted phone!
After that you need to put the files where i mentioned:
system/app/Jbed.apk
system/lib/libjbedvm.so
You can do this with some kind of root-explorer or with the android-tools on your PC via USB (command "adb push file target" or similar - google for it)
This "jbed" work on every 2.1 android phones? (SE X10i)
And after that can I install .jar/.jad files?
I had several jar games and apps from my previous symbian phone. Can I use them in SE x10 mini with jbed?
Thanks.
Hey my lib folder thats under system has only 1.35 mb free and the .so files is more, so any way i can solve this issue... any suggestions
any solution in froyo with this whole jbed stuff ?!
Its working with sbbmobile on a hero with cm6 here.
With my N1 and froyo roms its crashing all the time.
Fortunately sbb finally decided to develop an android app till march 2011.

[Q] Write and Go (Samsung default app) for download

Hi, I´m using Darky´s Gingerbread ROM and there isn´t any "Write and Go" application.
I want this application back because it´s really easy to post something to the facebook wall. Could you please someone copy this application from the system and put it here for download for me?
EDIT: Please I need it :/ the installer apk from /system/app would be just fine

Here you go: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6524760/WriteandGo.apk
I have got it from XWJS5 in Romkitchen.
Thanks, but it seems it isn´t working for me. I get "Application not installed." error message :/
I think you have to copy it directly in /system/app/ with rootexplorer (after mounting system R/W)

I tried it, it doesn´t copy anything.
Try to download it from Romkitchen as an update.zip then flash it with CWM!
quick question Gerusz,
when i goto romkitchen, click on galaxy s, then on generate, then on the apps tab, then select only flash and go, it tells me that if i dont select a launcher my phone wil be unusable. How to i create an update.zip that ISN"T trying to replace my entire ROM?
thanks in advance!
Hey I have the same problem, using darky rom and i couldnt find this app anymore. Any solution yet? been searching for quite some time
I know this is an old thread, but just thought that you guys on darky ROM should know that all of these apps are available and installed on your phone on your SD card. They will be in a folder for darkyROM and they will be saved in system/apps within that folder. You use and always should use the darkyROM tool available from the market and it will add or remove any system app you want and it backs them up (so if you remove something you shouldn't you can re-install again) and also it does the same for user apps too. It has now been suceeded by the darkyOTA application though which provides Over The Air updates for ROM related stuff. All support and info is located on the darkyROM forums to check out

how to replace system/app apk?

Hi guys,
I have a verizon cdma 7" gtab.
I downloaded and extracted the latest system apk from the P1000XWJMK rom.
I tried to update some of the applications just by copying the new ones using root explorer.
To experiment I tried with:
- AlarmClock.apk: after replacing the apk the application disappears and does not work
Then I tried to put files of the Touchwiz Calculator (that is not present in the CDMA version) but nothing.
I also tried to install that but I get an error.
Can anybody help?
Shouldn't that apk be interchangable?
Thanks,
Lorenzo
i think , i said i think , they may work if you settle the permission as
read ( check the 3check box )
write ( check the 1st one only )
and un-check all the others
try it now and reboot if its going to work it will work like this , if it doesn't work , means it wont fit probably they will work

Thanks for the answer but I already tried by changing permissions and rebooting.
Nothing
You should try using 7zip and open archive, modify the contents and push back via Root Explorer... you ever tried that approach?

First of all, it's better to go with Froyo for now. GB builds aren't quite as stable. Plus, depending on which build / ROM you used, some features might not work properly if at all.
1. AFAIK USB storage does not work yet. Get froyo or use WM
2. download, as in thru Market or just the APKs? APKs are like CABs in WM, you have to install to use
3. Again possibly problem with the build you're using
Go and get FRX06 from the Topaz Android dev section and try that out. Most things work with it (except maybe HW3D). If you're feeling adventurous, google CWM ROMs. Tiad8 made a CWM version of FRX06. Available on his site at tiad8.com
Good luck mate~

Thank you for taking the time to reply .
I will try froyo out now , i put gingerbread on cause i taught it was faster and optimized , thats one of the main reason i want android cause Winmo is very very laggy and i hate it .
Dude, no need to start a new thread for relatively the same issue.
Also, try to add more relevant info as in, which build you downloaded, from where, what steps you followed etc.. easier to fix that way..
Anyway, fresh start.
1. Go to this thread
2. Get the BUNDLE (first link) in post number 4
3. Unzip the file to a folder called andboot
4. copy the folder the root of your SD
5. Edit Startup.txt in the folder with the options you need, sleep mode, overclock etc (refer to same thread, post #2)
6. Run HaRET..
There's no reason why your XDAndroid wouldn't run now. Since the FRX06 bundle has just about everything for first timers. Give a try and update here if you need anything..

need some Help with GT-S5830 regarding changing the theme

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum so excuse me if this isn't the right section to post my problem.
so I tried to change the theme of my Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 after I install a custom ROM in it, so I installed ROM toolbox Lite and I tried to change the phone's theme from there but it didn't work, after that I searched for some apps (I thought that my phone needed those apps to apply the themes from ROM Toolbox Lite) apps like : Theme chooser ,Theme changer, Theme manager and I kept rebooting each time I installed a theme thinking that what must be done so my phone can load it. but nothing changed, so after some searching on google I found a topic in this forum that has some APK files to choose from to change the phone's theme and it must replace Touchwiz30.apk in the System/app directory and give it the permission to write , read and read but I didn't find it with that exact name ,in my case it was called TouchSpaceWiz50.apk so I deleted it and went and tried to replace it with the one I've downloaded except I couldn't give it the permission and I got an error message that says I can't change some system files permissions.
so I ended up without the file TouchSpaceWiz50.apk in my System/app directory not to mention that I wasn't able to go to the home screen.
so I turned off the phone and on again only to find out that the phone is frozen on the boot animation screen, it doesn't keep rebooting just stuck at the boot animation that keeps playing.
I was able to fix this problem by re-installing the custom ROM from my SD-Card. but the main questions is why I wasn't able to change the theme via ROM Toolbox Lite when I have a custom Rom that includes ThemeChooser? and why the other apps didn't work as well? and is there another way to install themes? because I wasn't able to find any. and thanks in advance.
I am sorry if my post is so long I just wanted to explain what happened in details.
