I find playing an instrument requires a lot of patience and passion. I started off with the piano but i gave up because i wasnt determined to play the piano. Only my parents forced me to play piano
you should give it another go on the guitar

Was a massive passion of mine...and (like most budding rockers out there) I nearly made it big (well, my band did!).
I have a penchant for heavy metal, but tend to struggle on the solos
Also been DJing drum n bass on my 1210's for the past 11 years.
I'm not sure why, but I would imagine you might find quite a few phone/music enthusiasts here...must be some strange link somewhere...probably the classic man/gadget/needtorock urges!!
I play guitar & sing togther, I love to upload video but I'm sure no one wanna see
but you can see my guitar at my piano video the links in my signture, my other guitar in the other corner
my cousin is the great guitarist I can upload video for him, I'm sure no on hate him yet
Paco is my favorite in guitar
the piano composers in my signture
I play guitar among other instruments. but the last years I mainly play Keyboards... I've released some Death metal cd in the past where I played all instruments.
I love guitar and music, too.
I like dream theater, fates warning, porcupine tree and millions other band. Now I'm mostly involved into american hard rock-journey, survivor, pride of lions (POL have the greatest, technically speaking, singer amongst any other music band....), but I really like every musical style when done with passion - speak classical, fusion, funk...
Yup.
I play in my church band regularly, and out in folk clubs here in the UK.
I have 4 acoustic guitars:
Martin HD-28 The best of the bunch of em

Martin 00-17 now back in the US with my daughter so I can play when I visit, This is a remake of the original 00-17 made in the 30's

Babicz Spider Great guitar and is always a talking point when I play it out
http://www.larkstreetmusic.com/list/pict/BABBO.jpg
Guild F65ce I have had this for about 15yrs and it was 2nd hand when I got it, great for vamping and thrashing but a little too narrow in the neck for finger style. Mine is sunburst finished

My cd's were only released in my Country Faroe Islands but I'm shure some songs can be found on the net
by first project was called Internal Healing where I released 2 cd's "Darkside of truth" and "Immaculate Imanent Immutable Impetus" the other project was Human Caos "Selfdestruction"
But what I make now is mainly Trance and Electronica.
No I never played the piano but one of my kayboards is a 88 fully weighted keys so it's almost a piano
I play jazz guitar. You can hear short excerpts of my latest album on www.legopulver.com would be excited to hear any feed back! enjoy.
Well i thought id make this thread because this album is quite unusual.
also congrats to the band!
Any comments or reviews?
Thanks

Well being a UK kid @ the time Brit Pop was the bomb and Blur was one of the best then Gorillaz for the Hip-Hop culture is also the definitive of crossover.
Very similar to the other 2 albums beatz laden\Synth Strings with US rappers\The classics.
If you wanna check out another couple albums check Dan The Automator - Wanna Buy A Monkey as he's Gorillaz and Handsome Boy Modeling School
Here's some links on it:
Video for "Stylo," featuring Bruce Willis.Video for "Stylo," featuring Bruce Willis.
And well, I had a stream link, but it's no longer up. Still haven't given it a listen, though.
I liked "Stylo," and the video for it was pretty cool, too.
I watched the stylo video yesterday and another new song by them and I have to say that they songs suck (but the Bruce Willis video was creative).
I dont think the songs have got the same feel to them as the last album.

what would you class as real music?
Rock for one example, that has a great musical compound and words that mean something.
I just listened to what you posted and it just sounds like a badly scratched trance CD. What the hell are kids these days listening to.

Wow, random. I just started listening to Rusko a couple days ago. My first taste of dubstep and I have to admit, its pretty fun to blast.
check out Woo Boost and Hold On and Hold On Remix (a little more dubsteppy)

P.S. I really don't like it when people put down other people's taste in music. If it's not for you, it's not for you, but who are you to say what "real" music is

i listen to rock as well, thin lizzy, acdc, white snake, lynyrd skynyrd stuff lik tht, not really into any modern rock. i vary my tastes tho, and that youtube song i put up b4 is supposed to be like that, all glitchy n sounding lik a scratched cd lol but it in no way sounds like trance lol. most music sounds the same anyways, they all have a rythmic beat, a bass note on the third and a lead, chorus and beat down.

and you cant really base your musical tastes on an article that someone else wrote? if you need someone else to tell you if a certain song or genre is good or bad music then you might as well not listen to music at all.

one thing that really annoys me is when people say "it has no words! its not proper music"
well i dont see anyone complaining about classical lol since when did mozart and beethoven sing in their compositions.
I wasn't basing my opinion on that article, it just so happens that I agree with it.

that article is a load of crap, it says you need no musical talent :s im pretty sure it does, ive been producing music for a while now and its easily as hard as playing an instrument, i also play the guitar so i can talk from both sides of the argument. it isnt easy to do what a sound engineer would do to your track but from your bedroom. i also had to learn the piano so that i could work on my midi keyboard with chord progressions etc, it takes years and years of fiddling round on the computer and learning chords and scales before you can even make a half decent track.
Oh! I thought all music can be your favorite
Perhaps I´ll start a thread for Jazz music then
