How to Install:
-Download and copy into you sdcard QUY_v1.5_(by_daniequy).zip
-Go to recovery Mode
-you need an EXT4 512 MB, swap 0
-Wipe all
-flash from sd zip QUY_v1.5_(by_daniequy).zip
-Reboot
-Install No Frill or SetCpU overlock.

Did you not get the memo, I think the O1 community is through with 2.2.x roms with GB around the corner. Seems like a decent rom though, good try.

On some phones there are people who went back to an eclair-based rom
So if someone wants to create a rom based on 2.2, let him/her do it and keep your mouth shut

BTW just installed this rom, will give feedback after 24 hours testing.

Installed, but somehow even this is franco kernel v16, my phone gets kernel panic after OC @ 806 mHz. strange issue because with devoid.franco.v5 and franco.kernel.v16 I run smooth and stable with that freq.

Just seems like a waste to me with so many good and different 2.2.x roms already out, imho I think the devs here have completed froyo or nearing it, and its time to move on. But more power to him if wants to recreate what the other devs have already done, before its all said and done it'll end up being just like either one of the other roms, pick one.

If you saying they have completed Froyo you are from one point correct, that means Devoid, but in other way there are different needs for roms so perhaps you will see some more 2.2 ROMs in near future

I guess I'll jump into this rom building thing, first I'll extract my rom from phone, remove some useless apps, zip it up, post it, and heres what you'll have "void#delta, franco kernel .v16, zram, go launcher, and superblue .v4 theme"

I dont know why people are on this guy. He is learning how to do things and is excited about showing us what he has done and all people have done is complain about another 2.2 rom. So like if you cannot make the best rom ever for the p500 then dont bother doing anything? And if it is not the best rom ever then god forbid dont post it for other people to look at.

No, it's important as well. People are just misinformed.
It has a custom pulldown menu (it seems) like in the Lezo ROM. It's not MIUI but a skinned V20b, i'd love to KANG that pull down menu. These are actual developers and not cookers. They can code and port...

Yeah, what tim wanted to say is, you don't have to make another thread about it. You knew the other thread and decided to post separate? For a link? That was the thought being asked... you could have posted the link on that thread.

I saw the video and I believe it's the same as this Beta. He got FC's. framework-res, SystemUI and some .jar's (framework.jar and android.policy.jar) I believe. If he ported those MIUI functions and got FC's on some, I think I can't fix that. Only "devs" can do codeworks like arcee.
Maybe someone will... dxdiag32 is your man on this kind of stuffs (smali's) let's test it anyway.

well it's fully functional in the ligux rom... maybe we should look there?

I think the title should be edited. . 'cuz it's not MIUI ROM but it may be a smooth rom is worth a try.^^

MIUI or not....i have a very good feeling of the growing ROMs for the black.
even if there is no cm9/miui, we users now atleast have some ROMs to choose from
i, personally, don't like MIUI's take on android. CM is the way for me

Well, it won't hurt you if it is added. You can always disable them if you don't need 'em. Those who need it, specially those who have broken hard keys will greatly benefit from it..

Why don't u create a mod for all ics roms so that people want to add it ,have the liberty of doing it. And those who don't want , won't use it!! Food for thought .!

True but there are only 2 ics roms for mini...
Rest are cm7..only on 1 rom we hav softbuttons. This here is a pure cm..so its ofcourse very stable. Hence we are requesting the dev for this feature.

we don't need permission from squad.. it's not his source/patch that will be used. It is already present in CM sources but for true tablets.. devs just need to add it in compiling from sources..

I didn't vote cause I would prefer that as a separate update (flashable), including it as standard would make it difficult to remove and for now I don't plan on using it.

I just extracted a cm7 theme with apk manager..edited it and zipped it usin apk manager..do i also have to sign that apk?

AOSP- Android Open Source Project
AOKP- Android Open Kang Project
AOSP is pure android,no tw,no sense,just android,if you want the real feel of android and want better battery life and better perfomance,then its AOSP
AOKP is modified ICS,with a few good features.It is a nice rom and has great potential but could be pushed into 2nd place when CM9 gets fully merged.
Devilsking is still making it,and you shouldnt ask ETAs

Not necessary,but no harm done if you sign it.

Also 1 more..is it necessary to optimize images (in apkmanager) after editing that apk?

ok thanks, i had a feeling the aosp was pure android,
wow still and its still ot stable enough for beta release, its was only a question lol,,, so myth 2 is going to be a heavily themed and modded stock rom???

hmm i think we have to look for a patch for Audiopolicymanager.cpp, thats the main conflicting part atm..
