[Q] Keyboard

I'm running Perception 10.1 and it only comes with the Samsung keyboard and Swype. I dont like either of those. Personally I like the stock android keyboard that was in the version of Cog 2.2B7 that I was running.
Does anybody know where I can find the apk for the regular Android keyboard that will work with 2.2.1?

I have the gingerbread keyboard that is almost the same, find it attached. it is an .apk so just install it, then go to settings and make sure it has a checkmarc so you can select it on the keyboard selection.
It only has English but I have the other .apk with lots more languages if you need it
PS : I am running 2.2.1 so I know this works

Thanks. I have tried that one. Its better than the samsung keyboard but the keys are a little small, in my opinion.
I did manage to find the stock android keyboard in the Cog2.2B7 zip file that I had. I just took it out of there and installed it on my phone, it seems to work.

cool, I like this one because the keys are a little smaller LOL

how can i install samsung chinese keyboard?When i put the htc_ime into system/app, ans install it, force close again and again,how to do so?

I know there's an apk in the romkitchen.org (use create update.zip package) but i don't know of this will work with htc phone, you can try it Good Luck!

My phone is sgs i9000,not htc.i install htc_cime from darkys 9.5.but,i don't know why.btw,how can i install chinese keyboard in miui rc3? someone said that i also need to copy some files in libs.but,which one?

There are 2 apps in the Marketplace. Google Pinying, which is just a standard pinying input method. There is also SCUT gPen, which allows for chinese handwritting. Both app works great on my SGS I9000M.

[Q] Porting dialer form STORNMIX V2.0.0 ROM

Anyone can port the dialer from Stornmix V2.0.0 ROM ? It's great.

I failed to port it to other 2.3 rom as i had set its permission correctly(Contact.apk), there is no any "phone" or "contact" in the launcher since i ported it. However there is no problem with porting the other dialer ( just this fail ). I know there is another x10 dialer in the forum for x8, but this one is beautiful.
Anyone can help? Thanks.

you can download the zip and extract it. There you will find the dialer. Copy and replace the dialer insystem/app folder and set permission as the old one(dont forget to se the permission before replacing). Also you can use other stuffs inside the zip if you like.

also you can flash this zip via xrecovery, here are sony's system/etc/permissions and system/framework for the contacts.apk, and other their apps to work.

Hi, aomm well i install Virginity Rom v6 & it's a great Rom now the problem is it have installed xperia's keyboard (i hate it xperia's are slow in my experience with them) so i want to have the s4's keyboard can anyone help with this please? aomm i tried to push the apk with correct permissions but the app goes FC then i don't know how to solve it, can anyone help me.

Blackberry Keyboard Apk will not install

Hello,
i want to try the blackberry keyboard on my note. The playstore says i have no compatible devices and when i try to install the Apk it wont install the keyboard. Did anyone install it succesfully?

Lol...I was just watching the V10 forum this morning and in the themes subforum there were some priv apk ( agenda and keyboard surely working but I didn't try the others - launcher especially seems to disfunction ).
Anyway that keyboard apk install properly here although going back to samsung keyboard which is more familiar to me for now.
