NOTICE: We apologize for the lack of updates recently, we just want to make it clear that development has under NO circumstances stopped. We are absolutely still working on this and still supporting it. Thank you for your patience.
This ROM is based directly on the source code straight from Google themselves, the way Android is meant to be. This ROM is produced by a collaboration of many different people, with the main development being done by Onecosmic himself. We strive to bring releases as often as possible and provide a stable AOSP ROM. As this is a work in progress, bugs are to be expected! Please check the known issue's before posting/reporting bugs.
If you can, please donate a small amount via paypal, we do this for fun and this is optional but it is greatly appreciated and it is a way for you to contribute. If you want us to support another Galaxy S type phone and you have an extra of it, we may consider supporting the phone if you donated it to us to work on. If you think you have a phone that we could support, PM me or any other Team ICSSGS members and we will discuss the possibility of us supporting it.
We do not support anything that is not produced by us!
The latest release is RC4.2

Can't get my PC to connect to portable hotspot with this rom(RC v3.1). It does connect with passion v11. But I like this rom. Do anyone know of a fix please.
I believe the most stable version of any ics is probably 2.11 in my opinion. Every incremental update to me since that build had been good but has certain glitches. I just flashed the latest other ics rom v14 and I wanna throw my Vib in the ocean!lol I always factory wipe, format system, data, datadata, cache and dalvik just to make sure everything is perfect btw. Maybe it's because One Cos doesn't have a stable proprietary kernel builder and switches on every update? Anyway ima gonna try the latest vib zip instead of the 9000 zip +++ fixes.Chime in please if you've steer me to something that makes it smoother

Latest RC3.1 Vibe zip still had to have things "fixed" up to flash successfully. The code to check if the phone was i9000 was still present, build.prop still identified phone as i9000, and the modem was also for the i9000. Once I stripped out the i9000 code and replaced the modem, the rom installed.
I ended up having trouble with the included Platypus kernel. I ended up installing RC3.1 then Eugene's kernel. Once the dust finally settled, I had a pretty stable RC3.1. I've since moved on to a more recent Platty kernel, because Eugene's had issues with the video camera, which I need.
Just make sure you have a Nandroid to restore if things go south.
Good luck.
MP
@dougfresh
The replacement files for the i9000 problems mentioned above are available near the end of the older one cosmic thread.

Thanks MP and DR J.! I ran rc3 plus and Eugene's and the migrate data fix two days ago.Maybe the PLUS wasn't meant for me/us. I m about to flash rc3 vib full with the new platypus kernel provided in the link in the old thread. Now do still suggest I include the migrate data fix after everything settles. Fyi I dl'd browser + from the market as an alternative browser and seems more responsive
Hey mr pyscho I just noticed in your banner the rc3 rom.Is that one compiled with all your fixes? Thanks

I just came over from ICS Passion v10.6 which I thought was good. Wanted to give this a try.
Anyway I flashed it and all seems good, the only thing I don't like which isn't anything worth *****ing about (I am not hating on it by any means, just a preference thing) is not being able to delete home screens. I prefer 3.
But my initial testing seems to be good so far. I'm gonna test out some stuff and see what happens.

I haven't done an all-in-one, yet. I was thinking about it, but haven't pulled the trigger. My RC3.1 link in the signature just points back to this thread to Onecosmic's release. I've been on the fence as to which kernel to include in an all-in-one release, since the new Platty is good, but I also want to see what Eugene has in store for us. His Streamlined-1 was also very good, and I'm anxious to see what the next version is capable of.
The /datadata fix is only if you want the slight speedboost at the cost of storage space for data files.
I think the sooner you apply that fix (after flashing ROM, or 1st boot), the faster the migration will run due to less data.
PS. That's a good idea about linking an all-in-one to my signature (in the future). Thanks.

Onecosmic uses the stock ICS launcher, whereas other ICS Roms are using the CM9 Trebuchet launcher, which is more customizable.
Why not just manually install the Trebuchet launcher?

Yes, unfortunately. It's been quite irritating. Until this gets fixed correctly, I wish it were possible (tempfix) to modify something (an smali?) to perform a mute/unmute as soon as the call is answered/connected. Not sure if that's possible, but...

I read of someone in the passion thread using "tasker" set to:
Phone offhook: mute
Wait: 500ms
Phone offhook: unmute
I'm not to familiar with tasker though and have yet to give it a try

I read people have been using Tasker to accomplish this (auto mute/unmute). I haven't tried it as I don't seem to be afflicted with this problem anymore, though I've left OC and went to NB 10.6.
Also, Nova launcher is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1389071
This is the best ICS launcher available right now, and the developer keeps it updated. The launcher will notify you of updates and download it for you as well. Plus, it has neat scrolling effects (cube and the traditional card stack).

More is not always better. I previosly ran rc3 plus for the 9000 because I read the changelog and had more fixes but it's not the case. Now running the Vibrant version with MP's migratedata.zip and platypus' new kernel on page #83 of the old one cosmic thread has made this phone back to a beast.

Summary:
If you want to use real-time streaming including voip over wifi when screen is off please give the customised kerenl a try.
If you want to access windows share on your wildfire please give the customised kerenl a try.
If you want to use multicast applications over wifi please give the customised kerenl a try.
If you want a working wifi on your wildpuzzle rom with the latest kernel please give the customised kerenl a try.
Otherwise please go to jacob's kernel builds page.
All the credit goes to Jacob for his kernel source code http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=798471.
Jacob's kernel build is excellent but it lacks some vital functionality therefore I have went some depth to build my own version which adds the following
1) wifi sleep fix. This is a killer problem for applications sensitive to latency when the screen is turned off. This is caused by the default aggressive wifi power saving policy. This is a permanent fix for anyone experiences voice drop when screen is off during wifi voip call.
2) cifs support. This will enable you to access windows share on your wildfire.
3) multicast. I believe not many people use multicast on their wildfire but its good to have an option.
4) network file systems like nfs and aoe. Personally I have not tested them at all.
5) other small changes which I can not remember
I have built three versions so far and wildpuzzle room users (possibly other sense rom users) please try HCDR.Kernel_0593ef9.signed.zip to guarantee a working wifi. They are zip files can be flashed to any rom. Please take a backup before you flash the kernel and I will hold no responsibility for the result of such flash!!!
HCDR.Kernel_v4.2_606a571.signed.zip this is the latest kernel based on jacob's 4.2
HCDR.Kernel_v4.1_a91e73b.signed.zip this is the kernel based on jacob's 4.1
HCDR.Kernel_0593ef9.signed.zip this is the kernel based on jacob's early version of build
== update 2011-05-23 ===
It looks like jacob has moved on with his zte blade and arco has taken over. I have grabbed arcon's latest stable kernel https://github.com/arco/htc-kernel-buzz/ and build my own with similar kernel configs to my previous modified kernels. The attached flashable zip file is called ARCO.Kernel_eaa7283-22.05.11.signed.zip and I have tested it with CM 7.0.3
Working wifi with screen turned off
Working Bluetooth
Working GPS
Working Wifi hotspot (tethering)
Merge most kernel module into kernel. Now only aoe and wifi modules are installed separately.
I am quite happy with this version of kernel and it seems stable so far. For all kernel bugs please report to arco straight. I would recommend use this kernel with CM 7.0.3 as this is what I am using now.
wow this is great, does it mean my phone will drain more battery when i leave wifi on?

But I cannot see any improvement on skype.
Skype on wildfire has a very bad call quality when the screen is off, but works ok when on the loudspeaker (so the proximity sensor is not turning off the screen).
Anyone succeeded skype calls on the wildfire?
Thank you for this im using the 4.1 edit and it seems to be working well if not abit smoother for me at the moment.

The wifi should not consume more power if there is no traffic going through while idle.
However if previously you were using "always screen on" as a work around for voip calls then this customised kernel will save your battery as now you can really turn the screen off while on wifi calls, i.e. uncheck the "always screen on" from your sip clients.

You really need to ask skype for that. I have never found skype calls to be acceptable quality with wildfire (constant chopping) even when the screen is on. This tells me its very likely to do with something else other than wifi power saving.

These 3 builds are all stable. Been running them on my wildfire for over 1 week.
I am currently using the HCDR.Kernel_v4.2_606a571 with CM7 build #17 (pre RC) and quite happy with it.
I have flashed file but cannot seem to get cifs manager to work. It gives the error about module not present or kernel not supporting. Sorry haven't got error to hand. Am I doing something wrong?
In cifs manager you need to specify to location of the cifs kernel module so it can load up for you.

Hi there! I got a wildfire with the SUnAaBh v1.1 ROM.
First I first flashed your 4.2 kernel which caused my device to loop boot
Then I tried your version 4.1 and this did sometimes sporadically cause my phone to hang.
And now I flashed the original 4.1 from jakob which didn't give me any issues, I will wait and see if it hangs again. just wanted to tell you my experiences
Hi Gang,
Some of you may remember me from something I had done to the HTC Desire http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=755339
May it rest in peace...
I got this Foxconn device, called Wellcom A99, nowadays and thought I give it a ramp up . As previously, I'm pretty much a minimalist guy to squeeze the max out of my toys when and wherever I can. Here you go
This is a scaled down stock ROM, in terms of apps and memory hogging services. It took quite a while to go through testing and I assume I could get rid of all the bloat, still not compromising functionality. A number of apps are updated to the latest current versions as well.
The ROM does not touch anything kernel, governors etc.. I've been playing a bit with MIUI and CM7 and was somewhat disappointed particularly about battery lifetime. This MacLite should run lite, and smooth, with best in class performance. I will still look further into improvements, but I'm not jumping onto the overclock bandwagon. It's based on the latest (I think) Gingerbread 2.3.4 available from Wellcom for the FIH phone which you can grab in it's full beauty from here: http://www.wellcommobile.com/android1/.
This thing is FAST and without compromise. Everything works! It went through numerous versions and rounds of feedback, thanks for that. The latest and final version MacLite-FB0 v1.3, based on the last Wellcom firmware, adds, updates and fixes a number of things that should make it even more useful.
Thank you all for your input and feedback!
Changelog (v1.3)
- Last version based on Wellcom ROM
- Application Updates:
File Browser 2.0100.01
Note Pad 2.0040.02
Google Search 1.3.3.247963
Zeam Launcher 3.1.10
- 200MB+ free memory (thought I mention that finally hehe)
- This is the final release of MacLite-FB0 v1.x
Changelog (v1.3s)
- Further reduced Smaller v1.3 without Gmail and Email (useful if you use 3rd party Email applications and don't want to have those running useless in the background)
Changelog (v1.2)
- Removed Google Maps and Streetview, the latest update v6 appears to be somewhat of a memory and battery hog/zombie that comes to life all the time again, unkillable . You now have the option to flash a separate Maps/Street package v5 or v6
- Fixed a number of app signatures that prevented automatic updates
- As requested, added more languages (new locales for DE, ES, FR, NL, IT, PT, RU)
- If you use TouchPal Keyboard you can download the additional language libraries for free from the Market, I did not include these as not everybody needs all of them
Changelog (v1.2s)
- Further reduced Smaller v1.2 without Gmail and Email (useful if you use 3rd party Email applications and don't want to have those running useless in the background)
Changelog (v1.1)
- Added Email application back
- Update of Google Maps, Zeam, Youtube, Google Mail
- Ringtones and notification sounds are stored after reboot
- Additional languages are added (now English, Chinese, Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese)
- CDA partition access now possible during update
- Modification of a number of apps and settings stored in CDA
- New boot animation
- A number of changes under the hood
To get MacLite-FB0 installed, I would recommend to get CWM Recovery installed first and flash the zip through it. You guys know how this works. Please do a factory reset. There are also a number of modifications possible to the boot screen and animation. Please check out the hidden partition (press volume up and power button to get into these, works best with Linux that automounts)
The ROM is odexed for performance reasons. I don't buy the argument of having deodexed ROMs for modifications, it's detrimental for speed and memory usage in my opinion.
It features Zeam launcher for being the fastest and smallest around, please feel free to install any other of your choice . Wallpapers are not included, they are part of the official Launcher2 package which I killed, but any pics will work.
Please feed back on any old or new bugs found .
Enough said, check out for yourself
Download (links fixed, 03/09):
MacLite-FB0 v1.3
MacLite-FB0 v1.3s
I consider version 1.3 based on the Wellcom firmware final. We saw already a new Android 2.3.5 from Sharp popping up, mixed with Motorola code as it seems. Eventually this will be the foundation for a version 2 of MacLite.
Cheers!

Was just searching, if this uses HSPA as it seems it should work. No need to install the Wellcom ROM first.
got confused one question

hi
got slightly confused im from India and i have tried the WelcomeA99 rom and have flashed many roms via CWM over the Indian stock rom This will also work the same way right
Yes, just use the normal flash. Did not want to confuse people. It will work . It's just that the official ROM has some additional data and partitions that are normally not visible.
thanks for the rom.. it is really lite... just installed ... I think I would flash one of the Doomkernel / UC kernel... battery drain seems to be reduced...
not getting service provider's name. instead getting some number. how to fix that?
Guys, do we really have to update to the wellcom rom first? I'm on miui 1.11.11. Also have a back up of andro-id rc2 on my sd. thanks

I flashed this ROM recently and its blazing fast. Thanks for the effor OP.
But what I find missing is the "Email" app. I need this on a day to day basis as my official mail uses Microsoft Exchange server. Can you provide the apk file if possible for our phone so that I can install it?

Lucainno's I9000 MIUI 3.1.11 Port
ROM DETAILS
Android JB 4.1.2
Miui 3.1.11
Semaphore 2.6.5v kernel
4 way reboot
Seeder 1.4 Preinstalled
My GPS fix installed
Install Notes:
From cwm-
Facotry reset
Format /system
Install from sdcard
<Google Apps not required>

Profit
NOTES:
Ive only ran this ROM for about a day so Ill list it as "beta" for now. Themes worked for me but I had to create an Xiaomi account.
MIUI 3.1.11 is Android 4.1.2 (NOT 4.2.*) So keep this in mind for kernels and such!
I had somewhat of a higher than normal battery drain the first night. Frankly Im not sure if it was the ROM or one of my apps going nuts. I could use some feedback on how the battery drain is from others. This is my first JB port so be gentle (lol). I used CM10 as a base and used Lucainno's MIUI ROM to adapt (or Miui'fy) it. Dont forget to click on the links below in my thanks section and hit the "thanks" for each. Hit them up for a donation if you can.
Mobile data automatically turns off on each boot. You must renable it each time.
Easiest way for me to get the camera to work was to install the CM10 Gallery app. Thats why you have 2 "gallery" apps listed.
Does 911 work?
Answer - I dont know. Its untested. I have the correct T959 RIL and GPS files installed. I checked the framework.jar and it seemed to be in order.
Does GPS work?
Works for me....kinda I will admit the locks were a lot slower than usual. My GPS "fixes" from another thread do not match 2 of the CM10 files. CM10 and CM10.1 differ by 2 gps in /system/lib/hw from what I can tell. It may work though.
Now Im not a developer, but I will still try to bugfix whatever I can.

(You should be able to just flash it without wipe for upgrade)
Thanks man, When I have time this week, I'll be sure to flash and let you know how it goes.
Thanks man - I was going to play with this for a bit. For me the GPS just isn't working as well as Id like it too. Just not sure if its me.
Two of the .so files are different from CM10 to CM10.1 so Ill try to switch between the two. (/system/lib/hw/gps.aries.so & gps.goldfish.so)
Its a nice project to work on for the next few weeks.
Got too eager, and flashed it
Some things:
-Boot animation is TERRIBLE, sorry just had to get that out, I'm prob gonna just end up flashing a Nexus bootanimaion, they look cool
-Default language is DUTCH, and there's a popup right before selecting the default language, so I have NO IDEA what i agreed/disagreed to
So far, so good.
I can't really test GPS, almost got into a car accident once because of the faulty GPS on this, since then... no more taking chances, bought a nice GPS, runs great.
I'll give you more bugs/compliments after tomorrow.
Thanks for this btw, needed my monthly MIUI dosage.
That is odd - the build.prop is set to US and when I loaded it up it was in English. Ill look into it though.
Edit: Found it -
ro.product.locale.language=en (was set to "zh")
LOL - ok - ok Ill look into changing the bootanimation
Version 1.1 posted - should be a no-wipe version for those who already installed it.
NICE....
viber
unfortunately,viber has stopped
no work
Anyone have a multi-dpi playstore for this?
Changed my dpi to 201, playstore stopped showing most apps, flashed this and did not work.
For those who have time and can beta test for me:
MIUI 3.1.25
You need to flash the gapps (4.1 version) because I removed it from the ROM.
Feedback / bugs appreciated
I tried some GPS tweaks in some .jar files - Im not sure if it did anything though.
Downloading, gonna try it this week and I'll be back with my comments, really thankful with your hard work.
Best regards.

This ROM is my new daily driver on my work phone.
Its very fast and stable.
No real issues yet.
It rebooted once by itself when plugged into my computer at work but it hasn't happened again so the incident may be isolated.
Thanks for an awesome ROM.
I'm pretty likely to stick with this one for quite a while.

What one are you referring to? The 3.1.11 version in the OP or the .25 version I posted in the thread to test?
The op version, I just swapped over from another ROM and wasn't aware of the new version. but I'd be happy to give the test version a shot.
I'll run it for a few days and report back.

Sorry I realize its been way more than a few days.
I hot caught up on a work project that has been eating my life.
Anyways here is what I have to Freeport (hopefully its of some use to you this far out)
Pros:
1. Very fast and smooth, compared to what I was on prior (hellybean) this Rom is a huge jump up in speed.
2. Battery actually lasts all day for me. This is my work phone so that's not bad at all.
3. Bluetooth tethering works really well.
4. All around this is the best Rom I've been on in quite some time.
Cons:
1. Random reboots, though it never happens when I'm doing anything, only when the phone is sitting there on the home screen. So it really hasn't actually bothered me even though it would normally be a huge issue.
2. (I think this is actually a miui feature so it may not be worth worrying about) the data automatically turns off when you reboot. This wouldn't be an issue except for the random reboots mentioned above. Sometimes this happens in my pocket and I don't notice my data is off until I look at it again.

[ISSUE]*Bluetooth audio + notification
Hi,
First of all, thanks Milaq for maintaining, with others, Android on this famous tablet.
I drop a short message to point out an issue. When connected to an external audio device via Bluetooth, the sound may become heavily saturated. This occurs while listing to music and receiving a notification. Typically while using Google Play Music, TuneIn or any music app and getting notified of a new Tweet, a new mail or any kind of other notifications.
In this case, the amplification factor applied to the general audio level seems not to be restored the right way after the notification is played: a factor over 100% is applied and a too loud signal is sent out, producing an heavily saturated sound. Fixing this manually is very easy: simply press Volume Down or Up (even if already at the maximum level) to instantly restore the audio signal to its normal level.
This issue seems to be related to CM12 as, with CM11, it worked fine for months with the same devices and same apps.
Do not hesitate to get in touch if I can provide info or logs.
Wow, i will have to say this ROM was much more stable that i expected. Dirty flashed from jcsullins' 1125 CM11 build on Philz. I did make the mistake of not flashing the latest gapps, so Google Play Store did not work, but that was fixed by reflashing with Philz, using the right gapps zip this time.
I have had two reboots and an SOD thus far, the reboots likely being memory issues, and the SOD from having a passcode, which i have fixed by changing lock screen security. Weirdly enough, i actually got a performance boost with this ROM on the same processor settings, running Geebench 3. Will post images once i have the chance.
EDIT: Hmmm, just loaded the 0121 build, and it doesn't seem to be able to read the webOS partition?
EDIT 2: Rolled back to the 0118 build, and still the File Manager can't read the webOS sdcard. Is this intentional, or a bug that's being worked on?
Thanks for the Lollipop nightly release
I have two 16GB touchpads running Milaq's nightlies since KitKat days. Firstly thanks for the nightly builds.
Lollipop (build from 1/22) seems to be running great on the touchpads. I have both overclocked to 1782 MHz . Very snappy. Previously on KitKat the Antutu scores came to about 14100 on both my touchpads. Now the scores are in the 16100 range. Good improvement in performance.
Also on KitKat, videos would stutter when using Firefox. With Lollipop, no issues. Overall big jump in usability.
There are some random reboots just like everybody else. Not a big deal.
Solid release. Thank you, Milaq.
Kernel 3.0 vs 3.4
What are the advantages of going to kernel 3.4 over 3.0?
Milaq's nightlies use 3.0 kernel where as there are other ROM packagers using kernel 3.4. I am not complaining. Just asking why some ROMs use 3.0 and some use 3.4. What are the differences?
does anyone know how to fix the wifi issues within tenderloin? it seems with every rom i flash my tablet still has issues streaming content from my computer (using Plex or similar software) because the wifi cuts out. sometimes it crashes the tablet, other times i have to restart or turn off and on the wifi/

Sounds great. Can anybody else confirm this, the 0124 build is running well enough for me, haven't had a lot of reboots and I've downloaded quite a few builds this month. Also, does that build read both SD cards, the 0124 build does not seem to be able to do so for me.
Hey guys! Coming from jb to lollipop. Had a bit of an accident, assumed I could simply update the tcwm recovery, then install the nightly build - but saw someone's upgrade went slightly different and they formatted /system in between that step - this ended up costing me. I can't install from the zip, I get what looks like a corrupted file system. I can't use the tp toolbox to fix the android partition (fsck) and my former android won't boot. I can't look at the fs to resize through that utility either. I was wondering is there a simple few step process to go about upgrading to this ROM? Or do I need to try and start from scratch (reformat as webos only and work through installing android on the tp from tutorials)? I am able to see/mount my "sdcard" and I do have cwm recovery manager access.
Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
edit/update: I have erased android and attempted to use TPToolbox to install the Gapps, Recovery and Rom from the OP - but I keep getting an incompatible Rom error when I go to install android. Anyone know what I need to do? Can I not go directly to 5.0, and I need to install 4.4 first? I resized the partitions as well - everything looks good from that part. I tried renaming the CM-12-20150129-UNOFFICIAL-tenderloin.zip to CM-12-20150129-tenderloin.zip but that hasn't worked, neither has downloading other nightlies for this purpose. Any suggestions? in order to use TPToolBox do I need to change the name to CM-11-20150129-tenderloin.zip in order to install this rom through that? Or do I just install 4.4.2 and use CWM to update after resizing some partitions?
edit/update2: After installing kit kat through tptoolbox the proven way - I updated cwm with the one from the original post, and the rom and gapps installed perfectly. Beautiful rom, beautiful work. I love and am thankful for this scene.

For the first part, you sound like you were trying to dirty flash a data-media build over a non data-media build, which I don't think can be done. I have a hunch, referring to your update, that you might be using an older version of TP Toolbox. Either that, or you're mixing recovery, gapps and ROM packages. Just my two cents.
Hello Milaq. Thank you for firmware. But I have a problem. How to fix it?

Yes WiFi is very random on builds from this month. On mine its quite frequent. I completely wiped my touchpad but the issue still remains.

I think this problem is not with the builds. Seems to be a problem with the router. I have two routers. The TM-AC1900 is the primary and an E3000 running tomatousb as a backup. With the TM-AC1900, I had constant wifi turn ON/OFF problem. I connected the backup. No issues! Wifi work like a charm.
Check the Android 5.0 threads started by flintman or invisiblek. I can't find the posts now. But I remember reading that people using the other ROMs have the same problem and they traced it to something to do with config on some routers.

Can't install 5.2 after 5.0.2
Temasek's Unofficial from apascual89 is the only ROM I've installed on my Nexus6 from stock, excellent work guys!!!! But... actually I have the same problems as some of you: I flash the ROM, GAPPS and Kernel (non encrypted) and enter on bootloop... I made a full wipe (I have a backup from 5.0.2) and updated recovery. No idea what radio, bootloader, kernel, gapps or what kind of order of installation is failing.
Well, patience... I'll stay on 5.02, excluding "OK google" everything works great! :fingers-crossed:
My question is if I will ever see sometime in the future a Temasek 5.2 ROM with a cool unecrypted, radied, kerneled, rooted, and OkGoogleled precious piece of software inside one unic treasured ZIP. :silly:
Thanks all, amigos

Hey man! Saludos! I'm going to try and get to the bottom of this.
Andres, thanks a lot for your replies!
As you can see I finally decided to write my question into the Q&A thread for noobs, I feel alone, but there's no need to use private messages
As I said, I can wait until somebody describes a reasonable method to check what versions I'm running and which new ones I should install, I don't want to be the first to have a definitively bricked Nexus 6. But since I made a recovery from backup I'm gettinfg FC's and my system becomes more laggy, but everything "is working great"... During the last month I have read in the forum many conflicting reports about moving from one version to another or use different kernels as Hydra, Vindicator, etc...
I don't want to go stock, I love the way this ROM works... What do you recommend me to do?
Ok, after reading successful stories I finally have been able to install 5.2 from 5.0.2.
Well, may be it's going to be useful for some of you:
After full wipe I flashed from OTG/usb the ROM, GAPPS and chainfire's root, as last time, but I introduced the Hydra Kernel and It booted flawlessly. With 5.2 working I noticed 2 differences with 5.02:
-GPS stops sometimes (I'm an Ingress player) on one place and jumps to other...
- battery is draining much more than leankernel
So...I tried to flash leankernel from recovery and it stays in the CM logo... Flashing again Hydra kernel and works again.
Should I update with OTA on next @Apascual release? Will change my actual kernel? Any advice about?...
Thanks all for your patience.

Is there any way to fix this? I am connected to my network and everything works OK, but it messes with my OCD lol. If it can't be fixed can I hide it possibly? It seems to only happen with cm based ROMs for me.

I'm on T-Mobile and it works after having toggled "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" off and then on again. You will have to do this after every reboot. It seems to be an issue with the CM base judging by the fact that every 12.1 CM-based ROM I've tried exhibits the same brokenness in this regard. Hopefully they fix it soon because it's really annoying and inconvenient since it kicks data when a call comes in until it's toggled off and on again. AOSP-based ROMs fixed this issue within a week or so IIRC.
With Temasek 9.5 + HydraKernel V2.0 my 4G connection is working while making phone calls. I'm in Spain and my operator is Orange.
Still having minor issues with this kernel, like a small "robotic crisp" in the speakers when playing games or the intermittent GPS stops... I'm also waiting for a stand alone Temasek installation with his own stock kernel...

Hi all, congrats again to apascual & temasek for the ROM, it gets better day by day!
Just some sound problems... I heard some cracking and electronic buzz in the speakers (not in headphones) while playing some games, is like an interference with CPU or something like that. This is happening since the first 5.0.1 version. I didn't test on stock or other ROMS (my shamu only wants this unofficial cooked software). BUT... Today I changed Selinux to permissive and installed Viper4android, flashing the 4 .zip proposed in viper's thread and updated the sound driver to high quality. Finally all sounds are now much better, at least I cannot listen any sound glitch!
Just a question.. Is possible to include ViperAudio on the next ROM updates instead of soundFX??? It is working perfectly!
Let me know your thoughts

Does this ROM still utilize SuperSU for privilege escalation, instead of the built-in mechanisms in CM 12.x?
Supersu is built-in in the ROM. Not necessary to install nothing, it works!
EDITED: oh..sorry.. After a clean install I realized that we need to flash root. But it persists after dirty flashings. I'ts ok for me.

At the moment the build in root mechanism doesn't work. ?
I've been dirtyflashing for a long time, but last build made swype gesture disappear from the keyboard. I tried to do a fresh install but it is still missing. I've read other users with same problem. Any working suggestion? Can anything to do with installed new "handwriting app from Google"???
Thanks all

Anyone else experiencing random reboots especially when you try to wake up the phone from sleep?
running 05/12 build with elementalX 1.06, pa gapps and latest viper4android. No other tweaks like xposed etc.
Yes, I'm also having random reboots under all conditions... While sleeping, gaming, switching from 4g to WiFi... It happens 5 or 6 times a day and it's annoying.... I have last ROM update and no tweaked kernel or sound or whatever... I have no explanation...

Call recording disabled in newest Temasek's Nexus 6 rom?
Hi!
I would like to confirm if call recording ia disabled in Temasek's Nexus 6 rom. Anyone know for sure? I found earlier mention that it should be enabled, but not sure about the newest version.
When I tried recording with Total Recall, I got completely silent recording file. All internal recording strategies A, B, C and Rooted act the same way. Device is rooted. If someone has solved the silent recording problem, please advise

call recording is 100% functional. after a call has connected open the three-dot menu and select record call. you can access to the recording from the call history screen.
I'm on sprint with my N6. I'm seeing references to a sprint.zip. Why would this be needed? I did search on 'sprint.zip' but I'm not finding a post that answered that question.
Been using this ROM since its early releases. I've never had trouble with data or calls. Actually I've never had any trouble that wasn't self induced.
