but now im testing ElegantWhite-CM7.2 by TAZ...nice and freash interface...
It looks about right, considering you've hardly used it. Now get 3 days of using the thing and that WILL be impressive!
I get about 4 days out of my SGS2 if I hardly use it, which is quite common since I'm at a PC all day and have my tablet at night (if I'm not at a PC).

What up? My 4 year old first gen iPhone. 19 days. But it doesn't have a SIM in it, so that explaines it all.

I'll bet you if I took my Touch Pro out it would turn on.
Wait, nvm, I forgot the battery expanded. I should check if it still works. I need a new battery for it, but it should work. I should go check how android development is going for it.
The fuze forums are pretty much dead now. lol. I should buy an HD2 again and make sure I don't destroy it like I did last time.
I bet it works just fine. My first phone, a Panasonic GD-450 is 13 years old and it still works, but the battery only lasts for about 20 minutes

A new battery would cost me $1.30, but since I can only run android from Haret then it's not the same as flashing on the HD2 with NAND

Hello
I am currently using a galaxy s and a xperia pro.. Now I am thinking about selling these and buy a galaxy notes instead.
Is it a good idea? Is Notes a stable phone and not full with bugs?
I am hoping it would be an upgrade for me or is the difference not so big?
Regards

I would say that it will probably be a huge difference (pun intended) if you decide to get the Note. I would recommend that you go to a store with a live demo unit and try the size out, it is not for everyone. But I would say the Note is a stable phone.
I gave my SGS up for the note, and i love it..

from my experience, its an amazing phone. best one i ever had so far.
people say its huge and how can I carry it - but frankly it no problem at all. in the begining i was using the bluetooth but not any more.
the only thing i am not happy about is battery life - for now i keep the 3g/wirelss turned off to prolong the battery life. I havent had time to try different roms yet but I am hoping to get on one of the custom rom soon and believe this will improve the bat life also.
oh by the way the stock rom is very stable. i havent had any issue so far with anything.

pretty much OT here, but: You should think about getting a custom ROM. I´m on Rocket V.22 and my phone lasts more than 2 days with wifi ON and moderate usage. Kind of a miracle^^
yeah am in middle of rocket or darky; have to try them both to decided which 1 to stick to. have you tried darky ? lots of good reviews abt it too.
if the battery last for 2 days on moderate use then it sure is miracle .
i will try to flash the rom this Friday and see how it goes.
I lost my SGS and got the Notes. You will soon get used to the big screen and everything else seems so small after that. I was also having stable CM9 from teamhacksung on SGS. That's the only two draw back I can think of.

From a precursory Googling, it appears to be those new "electronic cigarette" things. I must admit I find them intriguing, but then I roll a fag and forget about them.

Fair play mate. If it stops you smoking and is better for you then who could disagree with that! Since you're in the know, how is it compared to a real cigarette, in both experience and health issues?

The only health defecit you get is the irritation from the nicotine but even then its a slight tightening like when you smoke a real cig too quick or in the morning. All the crap has lifted from me lungs. I feel so much better for it.
The reason I stopped was because I got sick of stinking like a fireplace and sick of the taste. Now I can have it how I like AND save 2-3 thousand a year by not buying the tax monster.
Seriously though, I thought it was more widespread than this... Guess no-one else has caught onto the scamming t**ts in power....
I prefer snus. Much better than sigarettes, but i don't know if it's legal in the UK.

Turn off all the lights in your house make it as dark as possible. Then ring your phone and look for the flash when it lights up. If it doesn't work go to another room and try again. This is always my last resort strategy before messing up the house looking for it. It's normally in my pants or shirt pocket.

This is why you should use a "Find My Phone"-thingy, so when you do lose it, like now; all you need is to press a button on your computer, and listen for the BEEEEEP (yes, that works in silent mode to)

Here's a new scenario. How much battery did it have when you lost it x hours ago? May be dead and that means you'll have to find it the old fashioned way.
Veeman might want to censor it. Totally don't want the mods crashing this awesome thread.

Hey everyone,
I wanted to ask how everyone's battery life is. I'm currently using PAC 4.3 by @skeevydude (stock battery) and the rom has solid performance but I only get like 12 hrs on battery. This is with LTE off, WiFi off, Bluetooth off etc.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advanced!
Carbon, hands down best battery. Battery drain while sleeping is extremely minimal, and slightly below average drain during actual use. Im on stock battery and have a day+ of use. I do use pure performance mod and snapdragon battery guru. Only an hour and a half of screen time though

I actually had battery failure about 2 weeks ago, I took my phone to pro-wireless, got my screen fixed while I was there, and ended up paying $138.76 and they charged me 40.00 for the battery, so I asked if they would swap it out for the MAXX battery and they said it didn't fit, didn't really think much of it. Should I go back? Thanks.

Technically it doesn't fit. Everyone here who has done it had to do a bit of plastic trimming to get it in properly.
And $138.76???? Did that include the battery? It only costs 25 for the touchscreen, 26 for the lcd screen, and 45ish for a Moto Maxx battery and 25ish for the standard eb20 battery..
//If people are willing pay that much maybe I should get into cell phone repair.....

Almost 180 dollars! Sweet hell man they saw you coming. You can pick this phone up online for that in like new condition. Hell the maxx battery is only 40 and a new screen is around 50. And as far as it fitting I didn't do any plastic cutting. Others have. I haven't had an issue and it's been in since last October now.
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
Pretty sure (but not 100% confident) that poster meant the total cost of everything was ~$140 which was $40 for the battery + the difference for the screen/labor. If it was $180-ish then yeah, that's a bit high but then again cell phone shops nowadays are nothing but rip-offs taking advantage of the fact that your average Joe cell phone owner would never dream of doing a repair like that themselves, especially on a "sealed" device like iPhones and these Atrix HD devices and many others.
This is in someway asking for a best ROM, Never the less this thread has become OT.

I am starting to regret my decision to upgrade to KitKat 4.4.2
My Z1 C6906 was almost flawless but now there are major issues:
BATTERY DRAIN- The phone is running down at a much faster rate then before the upgrade.
CAMERA FREEZE- The camera takes longer to startup and often locks up right after initializing. This is random but very annoying.
There are also various minor issues but I would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix the two major ones first.
We know that, we love that, we know that, we love that. ..lol..
No fix for that...
We all know Sony is using different parts in their phones (lcd, memory chip's and obviously many more parts) and "half" of devices are working great on 757 (like mine) and "half" of them are working...well not so great on same firmware...
Sony is preparing new update but I really doubt they could fix something like that...
I mean...if you have lousy screen or digitizer that's something software can't fix - it could make ut a bit better but it'll never fix it to work without problems...
I'm reading all that threads where guys like you posting all their problems and I could be very happy with my luck...
I have had three Xperia devices and all were extremely good...
I would never buy anything except Sony...
I'm buying phones only from t-mobile (if I want locked bootloader) or in Tele2 if I need unlocked.
Never online (clove, ebay...) and never used...

Nope, I'm on NUT ROM 757, deodexed and rooted.
I keep brightness up to 70% ( between 60-70% when I'm out) when I'm out (I have to, can't see the screen otherwise) and on 20-30% at night and I'm always getting between 25-30 hours of battery life plus 5.5-7h of screen time...
